Bright sunny windows with views of the lovely Maxwelton Braes golf course and easy access right off Highway 57 in Baileys Harbor. Two furnished covered decks with gas grill, a vaulted ceiling in the great room. The dining area also enjoys a wall of windows and there is a convenient large galley kitchen filled with cabinetry, quartz counter space and great appliances. There is a separate half bathroom and separate laundry room with washer and dryer on the upper floor. Bedrooms are located on the lower floor -- and all three have wonderful windows with full daylight. The main bedroom with king sized bed includes large windows with golf course view and access to one of the covered decks, and has a large private full bathroom and walk in closet. The second bedroom is light and airy with a queen sized bedroom and closet. The third bedroom overlooks the golf course and is furnished with a comfortable queen sized sofa bed and has a den feel, with door to covered deck. Beaches, parks, theater, music, Farmer's markets, hiking trails, water sports are all within 5 minutes of the condo.

We are so thrilled that these nice people enjoyed their stay. I have not been able to determine what they smelled. They mentioned an odor after they departed and I find no odor there. Generally, if there is an odor in the water, it will be throughout the property because most of Door County is on well water -- and this condo has well water that is checked yearly at our local sanitation department. That check is required for vacation rental licensing throughout the county. I spoke with the neighbors in our condo group there, asked our handyperson to stop by and personally spent an hour in the primary bathroom running the water to check for smell. We weren't able to find one but we will keep checking! This is the first time anyone has mentioned an odor so we are truly baffled.

My wife, 9 year old daughter, and my son, his girlfriend and our 4 year old grandson stayed here for four nights while visiting around Door County. Great place. Has all the comforts of home. Very clean and lots of space for our group. Checkin was easy and we even had a private garage. Would stay here again for sure!

Great condo, super comfortable and very clean. Had everything you could need and great location near Bailey's Harbor. We also tried the owners' restaurant and had a wonderful dinner -- lovely patio, good wine, delicious food, and a pet menu for the pups. Really an absolutely lovely time.

I live and work right here in Baileys Harbor. I have lived in Door County for nearly thirty years and own a few short term vacation rental properties around the county.

Why they chose this property

Just a truly lovely condo in a great location. Unbelievably lovely Danish midcentury furniture throughout. Ten minutes from everywhere -- including Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, Fish Creek and Ephraim. Quiet location, with the natural beauty of Maxwelton Braes golf course right outside your doors and windows. Spacious and tastefully decorated.

What makes this property unique

We love the open spaces in this condo. Plenty of room to spread out and feel right at home. This is one of only six condo units located on 6 acres right on the Maxwelton Braes Golf Course. So close to everything but so very quiet and peaceful. And it has an attached two car garage with remote and personal/private front door entrance.
