Location and activities
This detached lodge lies in Kenwick Woods at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, near the Georgian market town of Louth. The woods are part of the grounds of Kenwick Park Estate and are home to Kenwick Park Hotel, The Club Spa@Kenwick and Kenwick Golf Club.
The lodge is situated about half a mile from the hotel and the spa and close to the 12th fairway. Guests, with an appropriate handicap, wishing to use the private course can apply to do so. The hotel bar and restaurant are open to non-residents and a range of beauty treatments are offered at The ClubSpa@Kenwick.

Complimentary access to Magna Vita Leisure is available for guests during their stay. The Meridian Leisure Centre is approximately 1.5 miles from the Lodge and has an eight lane pool for swimmers, a kid’s pool and flume, an 80 station Gymnasium and a cafe overlooking the pool area.

The lodge offers the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside and the many attractions it has to offer, with a variety of beaches, shopping, historic sights and attractions all within 30 minutes drive from the site.



Accommodation and facilities
The master bedroom has a double bed, and second bedroom has two twin beds. Fitted wardrobes in both rooms.
The bathroom has a heated towel rail, a bath with shower over, a toilet and hand basin.
There is a utility room with coat hanging, storage space, a washing machine, iron, ironing board and drying racks.
The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, a dishwasher, a fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, an electric oven and hob.
The patio doors lead onto a furnished veranda.
A high chair and travel cot are provided in the Lodge.
There is a television with Freeview and a DVD Player.
Secure Wi-Fi is available in the Lodge.

A very relaxing break in a well maintained lodge. Everything you need is provided with a well stocked kitchen so able to cook or bake if that is your thing, Made use of the leisure passes several times which were handy when the weather wasn't so go.

Relaxing cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay in Lincolnshire and managed to totally relax and rejuvinate immersed in the trees. Swimming was excellent both at the Kenwick hotel and the magna vitae leisure centre. Only negatives were the cobwebs all around the bed and the speed humps! Overall a lovely break, would stay again.

Our first visit to Louth! Mike sorted out the last-minute issue on the booking and upgraded us to a stunning lodge. The place had everything we needed for a few days' escape from the hustle and bustle of London! Would definitely recommend it!

Property is very well furnished and well looked after. Children loved the cat themes in the property . Plenty of room, larger inside than we expected We really enjoyed our stay. We had problems with a sticky key safe which confused us to the exact location of the property (we initially chose a different property and moved to number 8 so the picture was different).

Lincolnshire Life

Kenwick Park is a great place to stay. We came here as we wanted to visit my parents who live about 15 miles away and due to Covid restrictions we couldn’t stay with them. We also wanted a break as we haven’t been on holiday for nearly a year. The cabin was very well provisioned, clean, tidy and comfortable. Being able to use the local leisure centre FOC was a real bonus as was being able to wander round Louth and have a coffee outside in the sun. There are numerous cycle routes radiating out from Louth which we would be keen to come back and do another time. The addition of a wood burner (and a teapot) are the only things I can think of that would improve the place - and maybe clearer instructions from Mike the owner.

Cabin neat and tidy and in a nice location . Rooms Clean and all bedding and towels "fresh" . Some fittings a tad dated and toaster could do with renewing but all else fine and suitable for use. Good location for Lincolnshire coastal visits etc. Would use again

Peace and tranquility

I booked this break as a stress busting get away from it all and it was totally that. Beautiful, peaceful forest location away From the rat race. Well equipped and cosy, albeit a tad dated. Only a couple of miles outside Louth with all its amenities. Would definitely consider booking again for the future.

Beautiful and quiet setting!

Spent two days in the woods. Rained solid for a whole day and this just added to the wonderful atmosphere. The lodge looked brand new and was well furnished and so quiet, just perfect. My only feedback would be to change the stark white energy save bulbs for the newer, warmer LED filament bulbs. This really is our only criticism, a testament to how much we enjoyed our stay! Will defiantly go again.

Holiday in Lincolnshire

The Lodge was in a quiet woodland location a short drive from Louth. It was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The area had easy access to the coast and good roads going towards Hull and Lincoln. We enjoyed our holiday.

Comfortable and Spacious Retreat

This cabin is generously proportioned in all areas such as room size, shower size, cupboard, wardrobe and bench space. It is also very well equiped with washers, iron, hair drier and all kitchen needs etc. The location is very attractive and close to Louth and has easy access to main roads to Lincoln and the coast. The owner is very easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend this to all.
