This is a lovely spot nicely situated on a hill in an olive grove with a view of the harbor yet only minutes to the the tavernas and beaches that you will want to visit. There are three villas but detached so they are quiet and private, each with its own pool. The space is spotless and the housekeepers come every few days to do a quick tidy and provide new linens and towels. The AC is quiet and efficient though with the breezes I only used it a few times. I was there for 2 weeks at the end of August and enjoyed the sunshine and stars at night. I will definitely recommend this sweet spot to friends.

Beautiful house surrounded by olive trees

The house was clean and conveniently equipped with everything you need. We went with our 3 year old and the house was perfect for the three of us. From the balcony, you have a great view and can even see the ocean. The pool is very private and clean. The depth varies from 1,5-1,9m, so kids can't stand in it but our daughter loved it. Very close to the property (5 minutes by car) is a fantastic little convenience store, where you can buy great coffee in the morning and basically get everything you need for your stay. It's open 7 days a week. Absolutely recommend!

Beautiful and peaceful

We spent a week at the villa and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The villa was close to Gialova, the beaches, shops, restaurants and ideally located to explore the region. The pool was well maintained and a good size for the family to enjoy. The location for the villa is extremely peaceful, will beautiful views of the valley, the sea, olive trees and the stars at night. It was wonderful sitting on the terrace in the evening listening to the golden jackals and watching the stars. The villa itself had everything needed, a couple of dishwasher tabs and clothes washer tabs to get you going, dish towels, bath and pool towels, a well kitted out kitchen and everything spotlessly clean. A wonderful week that easily could have been 2 weeks, and perhaps might be next time around.

Absolute Ruhe und Natur pur umgeben von Olivenbäumen

Ein idealer Ort , um den Alltag auszublenden . Wunderschöner Pool ( tägliche Reinigung) , toller Blick , ansprechende Terrasse mit 6 Stühlen , Haus gemütlich und ansprechend, Betten sehr bequem und für uns perfekte weiche Matratzen. Ausstattung der Küche könnte optimiert werden ,großer Kühlschrank mit separatem Gefrierfach , Kaffeemaschine sollte dringend entkalkt werden. Outdoor Waschmaschine auch entdeckt! Jeder Raum verfügt über eine Klimaanlage ( nur im Schlafzimmer laut )Hochwertige Liegen und Möbel im Aussenbereich , Polsterauflagen für Stühle sollten ausgetauscht werden .

Lovely villa right in the olive groves with good facilities close to some of the best beaches in Greece. Clean and modern with everything you need. Only minor negative were wasps hanging around, there may be a nest near the side of the house which could be tracked down. Otherwise great spot, good communication from owner and would definitely return.

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir hatten einne tolle Woche in Gialova. Das Haus hält was es verspricht. Der Ausblick ist wirklich toll und das abendliche Heulen der (vermutlich) Goldschakale hat uns sehr begeistert. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein aber wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Toll war auch, dass alle paar Tage die Handtücher und Laken gewechselt und das Haus grob gereinigt wurde. Der Vermieter reagierte auf Anfragen (z.b. kaputter wasserhahn)sofort und reparierte umgehend.

Great villa, lovely people, beautiful beaches and great food near by!

We first stayed at this villa 10 years ago and it had only got better. Lovely pool, great views and very well located for restaurants at Gialova and gorgeous beaches! Super communication with the host and the place was immaculately clean and regularly serviced. We would highly recommend and won’t leave it 10 years next time.

Ferienhaus in grandioser Lage

Die Kosyforema Villen liegen inmitten von Olivenhainen mit einer grandiosen Aussicht auf die Bucht von Gialova. Absolute Ruhe und Erholung! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, denn der Pool und die modernen Klimaanlagen haben uns vor der griechischen Sommerhitze gerettet. Der Pool, der nur über eine Außentreppe an der Seite des Hauses zu erreichen ist, hat eine gute Größe für die unaufgeregte Abkühlung und es stehen vier bequeme Liegen bereit. Die Schlafzimmer des kleinen Ferienhauses sind sehr schön eingerichtet, man hat genug Platz und Ablageflächen. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr hell und freundlich gestaltet und hat einen großzügigen Balkon. Der Ort Gialova, in welchem man gut einkaufen und essen gehen kann, ist nicht weit - man ist jedoch fern ab des Trubels. Da das Haus auf Selbstversorgung ausgelegt ist, haben wir einige Kochutensilien wie Auflaufform, größere Messer und Schneidebretter sowie einige Ausstattungsaspekte wie beispielsweise Fliegengitter an den Fenstern vermisst. Auch ist es sehr schade, dass man, um zum Pool der Villa Methoni zu gelangen, wieder aus der Haustür treten und kurz über die allgemeine Zufahrt laufen muss. Man hat keinen Überblick über den Hauseingang (Sicherheit) mehr und es erschwert zudem das Abduschen vor und nach dem Schwimmen, weil man nass einmal durch das ganze Haus und zur Vordertür herauslaufen muss. Hier wäre eine Außendusche hilfreich. Leider gab es auf der Pool-Terrasse der Villa Methoni ab dem Nachmittag kaum noch Schatten, da ab dann die Sonne am Sonnensegel vorbeischien. Die anderen zwei Häuser haben durch angrenzende Bäume mehr Schattenbereiche. Das sind jedoch alles eher Kleinigkeiten. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung mit traumhaften Ausblicken und die Vorzüge eines privaten Pools sucht, ist hier richtig!

We were blown away by the location of the villa. Beautiful sunsets every night while sipping the most wonderful Greek wine . The local town of Gialova was so quiet when we went which suited us down to the ground. We are definitely going to return.

Beautiful, peaceful villa in the hills

We had a great holiday with our two teenage boys. The villa is spacious and well appointed with a great view of the hills and sea. There are 3 villas together, but it is not overlooked and feels private. It’s a great location being close to local shops, the waterfront of Giavola and the beautiful Golden Beach. The local area has so much to offer: The tranquility of the bay, the castle at Pylos, water sports, scenic walks, snorkelling, waterfalls & the more traditional beach at Romanos. And when you have done all that, there’s nothing better than relaxing by the pool or watching the sun set from the deck. We highly recommend this property.
