The gite was perfect for us - plenty of room for us, and a lovely fenced yard for our dog. Covered parking for our car, off of the street. Le Puy Notre Dame is a lovely little town, and there was plenty to explore right in the area (did I mention that the bakery is just steps away?). Definitely recommend!

Very clean, well organised and lovely garden

The gite was super clean with comfortable beds. A lot of thought has been put into the layout. I really appreciated that ventilation had been put into the kitchen and downstairs bedroom, meaning that damp wasn't an issue, as it can sometimes be in old properties. The garden is fantastic, with half shade, half sun and there is garden furniture for both eating and relaxing. One thing to note is that wi-fi isn't available in the gite itself. Wi-fi is available in the owners' hotel, next door. Any enquiries were answered almost immediately by the owners - excellent communication.

Average house, lousy customer service

The house is spacious with all standard equipment in a nice village, but with a feeling of the house being worn out (eg. moisture smell at times, the water heater breaking down during our stay). The host provided quite incomplete service, eg. no welcome introduction materials, requesting that we took all garbage to a disposal station 6 km away, lack of common amenities (detergents, cooking oils/ spices). So okay house, but no feeling of being a welcomed customer.

Dear customers, We are sorry for your somewhat negative feelings, knowing that we do everything for the comfort and experience of our guests, even providing towels and sheets (with beds made on arrival), kitchen and bathroom amenities. However, the gîte does not provide any hotel-type services and guests are responsible for cleaning and personal waste disposal, especially during the Covid period (the bins you left behind). We welcome our guests with a minimum of instructions and constraints (the rubbish bin being the minimum), and then leave them to enjoy their stay in peace. Finally, we were very reactive following the breakdown of the hot water, which was repaired the same day, a breakdown that was completely beyond our control... We are sorry if you were looking for another service, more oriented towards the hotel business, but it appears that we already exceed the classic specifications of a gîte, and this for the well-being of our guests who very often express their satisfaction. Desconexión en el Loira

La casa está muy bien, es amplia y cómoda. Se agradece mucho el jardín para dejar el coche y tener un espacio al aire libre aunque no lo pudimos disfrutar mucho porque lloviznaba con frecuencia. Está cerca de la zona cercana al río Loira, que era lo que buscábamos. No tiene casi cobertura móvil y no hay WIFI, lo que deberá tenerse en cuenta si se necesita estar muy conectado. Todo genial, aunque el tema de la basura es para nota... hay que ir con la bolsa hasta encontrar un contenedor y no es fácil...

La présence de moisissures dans la chambre et l'humidité persistante dans l'ensemble de la maison a été pour nous une source de désagréments. Heureusement, nous avons eu du beau temps en journée pour profiter du jardin. La communication avec le gérant a été compliquée. Nous avons rencontré des divergences sur la procédure de départ et les prestations deja réglées sur Abritel (comme le ménage). Cependant, la maison est très bien située pour le tourisme et la literie est de très bonne qualité.

Séjour du 30 oct au 06 nov 2021 .Petite demeure propre et bien équipée, sûrement très agréable l’été, mais l hiver il en est autrement … une chambre où l eau suinte sur les murs où le chauffage, qui semble être compris dans la location, aurait été bien apprécié mais il est en réalité payant pour une grande partie , nous avons donc très peu chauffé et avons eu froid… le jacuzzi faisant partie des prestations proposées est lui aussi payant quand on veut l'utiliser ! Donc petite prise de tête avec Le propriétaire , publicité un peu mensongère je pense, manque d honneteté ….

sehr schönes Objekt, mit kleinen Abstrichen

Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Objekt, das aber wohl nach der Sommersaison einige Gebrauchsspuren zeigt, um die man sich sicherlich in der Grundpflege (Küche, Toiletten) etwas mehr hätte kümmern müssen. So waren z.B. die Geschirrspülmaschine defekt, die Abflüsse im Bad nicht unbedingt als solche zu bezeichnen, im Besteckkasten kein wirklich alltagstaugliches Besteck vorhanden, das Geschirr nicht alles in direkt benutzbarem Zustand. Will man gerne mal auf kurzem Wege essen gehen oder nur einen Kaffee trinken, muss man mit dem Auto in einen nächstgrößeren Ort fahren, da im Ort selbst derzeit keinerlei Infrastruktur dazu vorhanden ist.

Magnifique sejour en famille

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine en famille. Nous avons profité du mauvais temps pour jouer au ping pong, nous reposer et effectuer les revisions de bac de notre fils en toute sérénité. La cuisine étant super bien équipée nous avons aussi profité des produits locaux avec grand plaisir.

Très bon séjour au gîte

Nous avons pleinement apprécié ce gîte, propre, vaste et possédant toutes les commodités attendues. Le gîte étant une dépendance de l’hôtel, nous avons pu faire profiter notre fille du trampoline. Les seuls points négatifs concernent l’arrivée et le départ. Un malentendu concernant l’heure d’arrivée a rendu certains échanges avec le propriétaire un peu froids. Dommage. La communication avec le client est un point à améliorer.

il est certain qu'après deux heures de retard, l'établissement devant être fermé, et aucunes excuse de votre part, il aurait été judicieux de nous prévenir bien avant. L'organisation est un point que vous devez améliorer. La communication avec l'hôtelier est un point a améliorer.

Le Puy Notre Dame

Het vakantiehuis heeft een grote tuin waar ook genoeg schaduwplekken zijn. De inrichting van de woning is wat gedateerd. WiFi ontbreekt in het huis in tegenstelling tot de advertentie. Wel kan gebruik gemaakt worden van de WiFi in de bibliotheek van het naastliggende hotel/kasteel tussen 8 uur ‘s ochtends en 8 uur ‘s avonds. Qua voorzieningen is het dorp Le Puy-Notre Dame achteruit gegaan. Gelukkig is de bakker er nog wel.

Maison confortable. Literie, électroménager et barbecue parfaits. Propreté générale impeccable. Salle de bain convenable. Jardin clos agréable. Les détails agaçants : ménagère et batterie de cuisine semblant "récupérées". Maison un peu difficile à chauffer en hiver (hauteur de plafond ?). Isolation phonique (on entend très bien les autos qui passent (il y en a heureusement assez peu).

Nous sommes restés deux semaines au gîte de la Paleine et nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée et aussi celui réservé à nos deux chats qui ont été ravis de pouvoir gambader à travers la propriété. Le gîte est très confortable et très propre. On peut profiter du calme et du jardin équipé de transats, table et chaises.

WiFi im Haus wäre toll, steht nur im Hotelbereich zur Verfügung, dafür muss man rüber gehen. Sowie auch Fernsehen in anderen Sprachen ausser Französisch wäre prima. Recht kalkhaltiges Wasser lässt die Wasserhähne nicht so super laufen. Auto kann direkt im Garten geparkt werden, sehr gut! Tolle Einrichtung, alles sehr gemütlich und mit Herz gemacht. Gerene wieder!
