9 AM
Go to the village on foot or by bike, to buy bread and croissants at the Boulangerie de Cécile et Jérémy. Then, go back to the house by the Church, it’s the opportunity to admire the view of the valley (tasting the first croissant for gourmets…). When you get home, you take your coffee enjoying the sun with your feet on the parapet...
MARKET DAY
While the most curious are gone to the market on foot, two of you embark on a giant chess game, protected from the sun by the green oaks that adorn the garden with this green so significant of the Luberon.
FOR LUNCH
A few tomatoes from nearby producers, and grilled sausages to be enjoyed in the shade of the arbour… The table is warm, a few sprigs of lavender from the garden and Provençal plates are enough to let us remake the world… Lunch continues until the afternoon… and the coffee is taken under the oak of the terrace... Time is suspended...
And for the days when you don’t want to cook, the tables of Bonnieux and Luberon will delight your taste buds.
4 PM
While some have gone out for ice cream in the village, others bask by the pool in the hammocks nestled in the trees, or on one of the deckchairs…
6 PM
The sun’s rays illuminate the bowling pitch… It’s finally time for petanque. A fresh rosé, accompanied by its Provençal olives await you on the barrels… The heat is sweet... A beautiful evening is prepared...
8 PM
While the chefs of the group cook a tian with vegetables from the market, the others take out the aperitif… The barbecue heats… The scent reaches the sofa… Screams are joyful, cheeks are pink from the sun of the day, smiles are on the lips…
IT'S UP TO YOU
to write your days, your dreams and to remake the world in this natural setting where time seems to stop…
PLACES OF LIFE
Summer and winter
Summer and winter, the Bastide de Bonnieux is the ideal place to meet up, take the time to live and disconnect. The dining room is the place of all the convivialities, the living room and its huge sofas welcome you to stroll, or the time of an aperitif, in front of a good fireplace crackling in winter. And you won’t be able to escape the wild games of foosball! Nice moments to share!
In the living room
It’s hard not to succumb to these sofas… While the more adventurous play foosball or football, some watch the game on the big screen in the living room, with their eyes half closed after lunch…
The nap is coming!
In the kitchen
It’s one of the rooms in the house where you will always find someone… We are there to cook, to have a drink or a coffee, some pass by to enter the house in the morning and others pass there to join the living room or the dining room.
Central room of the house, it’s equipped so that you can cook whatever you like... Cook the dessert at the same time as the dinner in the two ovens and on the stoves of the cooking piano, to which is added a multitude of robots and instruments ! Two dishwashers so that it’s no longer a chore because let’s not forget that you are on holiday, and two fridges to finally have the place to put the bottles in the summer to keep them cool !
IN THE DINING ROOM
On one side, the fireplace corner where you can read in the fall, or enjoy a digestive or tea after a meal in the winter…
On the other side, a 3.50m table for lunch and dinner, but also to work together during the day, to play board games with your back heated by the fireplace…

THE VILLAGE
Bonnieux, is one of the most beautiful and authentic perched villages of the Luberon: an exceptional village.
It’s one of these villages where we like to stroll, on foot, discover its alleys, its stone houses and its monuments. Because Bonnieux bears the testimony of a rich past: many traces of the Neolithic, its traditional bories (farms) on the plateau of Claparèdes, the remains of its ramparts dating from the 13th century that encircled the high city or the castle at the top of the hill, at the place called «Castellar». As you stroll, you will discover the church, the Julien bridge, the Philippe tower, and the forest of the Cedars… And breathtaking views all along your walk.
Besides the kindness of its inhabitants, walking to buy your croissants and hot bread in the morning is a real pleasure. And if the desire for a good restaurant is felt, you will always find what you want but know that «La bastide de Capelongue» and «l'Arum» are our favorite.
For the small supply, the smell of hot chicken will take you to the butcher shop. A few steps away you’ll find a grocery store, a pharmacy, a bakery and a tobacco press. While walking you’ll discover many shops and artists' workshops. There is also a daily supermarket just a 15-minute drive away.
A farmers' market is set up in the center of the village every Friday. On the stalls, sun-drenched fruits and vegetables with fabulous tastes.
THE LUBERON
From forests to villages of character, it’s also the home of artists from all over the world who put their suitcases "for a day, forever", such as Albert Camus, Henri Bosco, Paul Signac, Louis Montagné, Camille Corot or Nicolas de Stael…
Because Luberon, is above all a massif with lush vegetation, with exceptional wildlife, which are worth to be Regional Natural Park, to discover through routes and circuits. It is also a land of wines, lavender and olive trees, the homeland of "bories".
To visit the Luberon is to stop at Gordes, Lourmarin, Ansouis, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Vénasque, Ménerbes, Goult or Lacoste, to remain speechless in front of the ochre cliffs in Roussillon, the caves of Thouzon or the Provençal Colorado...
The Luberon is a region where gastronomy is in the spotlight everywhere! From candied fruit factories to oil mills, lavender fields and its museum, orchards, regional produce markets… without forgetting the area of antique shops and ever more exceptional views on the small roads of Provence.
There are also activities for children with the village of automata, the toy museum, the park of labyrinths and many animal parks...
To visit the Luberon is to be truly touched in the heart!
