About this property

Los Arcos dowtown 🌋🌋

The apartment is a warm and cozy place, you will feel at home. It has large windows that allow the passage of natural light to the interior, has an outdoor balcony from where you can observe the city. It has two rooms, each with a queen bed, TV and air conditioning, the kitchen is equipped with microwave, refrigerator, conventional oven and electric stove plus all the necessary utensils for cooking, coffee, tea, sugar, dish soap and kitchen towel . We provide the cloths and blankets, if you need additional cloths you just have to tell me and I will gladly provide them.
It is located in the center of the city, close to supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, gas stations, shopping and tourist centers. Those people who are disturbed by noise should bear in mind that when the apartment is located in the pure heart of the city there will always be noise in its surroundings.

I also work with some tour operators if you want to help you organize the visit to the best places in the area and if you need a transfer from the airport to Fortuna you tell me and I will take care of everything so that you can travel without worry, all this without any additional cost.

Great location tucked away above a florist shop. Plenty of space for a family of 4. The kids loved the loft room above the kitchen. Was centrally located in downtown and was a great place to relax inbetween activities.

Comfy loft right in town

Rebeca was a great host. She accommodated all of our requests and responded quickly to our questions. There was a nice breakfast area and living room and the beds were comfortable. Right near restaurants and conveniently located for activities. Would stay here again!

Great location

This was a great location in LA Fortuna. We were able to quickly visit many places with a short drive. Staying in the city we had many opportunities to enjoy local cuisine and culture. We were also able to stay in and cook if wanted to. This place met all our needs and we would stay again.

This apt fits our needs. It is a great location and makes travel to local activities easy. It is Walking distance to shops and eateries. Also things you would need for eating in. This was our second stay here for all these reasons.

Pros: The property is very nice with a good location, not far at all from main attractions. The apartment is very spacious, it was a very comfortable fit for a family of 4. The kitchen has anything you need, utensils, pots, pans etc.Cons: The only thing I would say is the shower is a little old, and the towels could've been a bit cleaner

Exactly as described. Cold air. Since right downtown expect some noise from street vehicles. Owner very good w communication and recommendations. Water pressure is pretty low hot water ran out kind of quick. Would stay again. Nice place.

Great location

Great central location. Very easy to make day trips. Easy xheck in. Very clean. Parking was on the street and you need to pay. If you don't pay exactly at 7:00am you will get a ticket. You cannot pay before 7:00am which made us have to get up early. Once we figured it out , it was easy. The washer and drier are extra charge and not on sight. Oerall, a very good place to stay.

Ideal Location for remote work & adventure

Group of 4 friends all working remote. Wifi was strong enough for 2 video calls at same time if near router (not in bedrooms). AC units in each room. Well stocked kitchen for cooking.. We didn't think it was very noisy, it was fine for working during the day and quiet at night. Great that there was parking. Perfect base for exploring after work for night tours, many restaurants in walking distance, hot springs, waterfalls etc. Comfortable beds.

Great location for walking around La Fortuna

Great location above a clothing boutique on the corner of the main road into town, 2 blocks from the main park. We (two couples) used it as a home base for exploring the area so we didn’t spend much time in the apartment itself. But the AC worked great and the beds were comfortable. Note that while the listing states that the apartment includes a washing machine, it turns out that’s an extra $10/day. That was the only thing stopping me from leaving a 5 star review.

Vague information from host - parking was paid street parking (not mentioned in listing), photo looks nothing like building facade making it difficult to locate, ad claims to have washer/dryer but doesn't. When I asked about it on check in, I was told there was a laundromat nearby or I could pay the maid 40. In the written instructions, it says laundry is 10 for each day used.The only reason I booked this place instead of others I was considering was because of the washer/dryer.

Apartment in La Fortuna

We had a great stay at los Arcos in downtown La Fortuna. The location was perfect for getting around on foot for meals and shopping as well as the main park/square. We rented scooters for further out adventures (La Fortuna Scooters- Valentina is amazing!!) which were easy to park at the apartment. Communication with host was fast and easy. Property was just as pictured although somehow we didn’t anticipate the loft having so little head room and hit our heads a few times. Nonetheless, it was still very comfortable. The beds had nice mattresses and the shower kept hot water even with 4 of us. Arenal was quite moody while we were there, always covered in clouds- but that should be expected with a volcano! The town was lively but we found there to be no issue with excessive noise inside the apartment. Extremely walkable location. Thank you for a great stay in La Fortuna!

Lovely apartment walking distance to town

We enjoyed our 2 night stay and highly recommend it! The property manager clearly communicated check in instructions in advance of our arrival, was available for all of our questions and even helped us book a tour! The apartment was beautifully clean, fully stocked and well furnished for our family of 4. Cold AC, great internet and walking distance to some great eateries. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Perfect location

This place was exactly as stated. It was perfect for us. We were not in the property much as we were doing excursions, but when we were there we sat on the balcony and watched the street below. The astectics were perfect for the house. Ac worked great, and the place was clean. We were in a safe neighborhood about 2 blocks from the central park. I would gladly stay here again. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly. Thanks!

Great unit with an amazing location

This unit is right in the heart of town. Walkable to any of the downtown restaurants and bars. Cab station is a few blocks away for hot springs and other spots outside of downtown. The host was very nice and communication was great, always making sure we were comfortable. The unit is very safe and secure. Thanks for hosting us.
