The stunning Villa Elvira with its 4 bedroom , 3 bathrooms and private pool is located just a two minute stroll away from one of the best beaches in the region, the Real de Zaragoza beach.

We have spent the last twenty years watching our boys grow up spending many happy Summers at Villa Elvira and recently took the decision to completetly refurbish the villa and gardens (finalised May 2018) and let others share in our secret, if the stay brings you half the joy it's brought us over the years you'll not go far wrong.

As the saying goes it's all about location, location, location ! Villa Elvira is located just metres from the beach in the ever popular Elviria district of Marbella in Spains famous Costa del Sol. Trip to the beach ? You'll have no need here to pack up the car, fight for parking space, and then worry about uncomfortable wet and sandy swimming costume drives back, you can just walk out the door in beachware and hit the beach.

INTERNAL

Master Bedroom
Spacious air conditioned double bedroom, Queen size bed, with wall mounted TV (huge selection of international channels) is accesed either from external garden stairs or via a short winding staircase from the living room area. It benefits from it's own ensuite shower room, toilet, vanity unit/sink and mirror. Wake up in the morning, open the curtains and take in the stunning views out to the meditteranean or head out directly to the roof terrace and enjoy a morning coffee in the comfortable seating area.

BEDROOM 2
The second air conditioned double bedroom, Queen size bed, is located on the ground floor, it is accessed directly from the main living area and boasts it's own ensuite with bath/shower, toilet, vanity unit/sink and mirror.

BEDROOM 3
The third air conditioned bedroom is located on the ground floor, accessed from the main living area. It comprises two single beds and also offers direct access to the garden and pool areas.

BEDROOM 4
The fourth air conditioned bedroom is located on the ground floor, accessed from the main living area. It comprises two single beds and also offers direct access to the garden and pool areas.

BATHROOM
Located on the ground floor a seperate bathroom is offered with spacious shower unit, toilet, vanity unit/sink and mirror.

KITCHEN
Sleek granite topped kitchen providing, breakfast bar, refridgerator/freezer, modern induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine. electric kettle, toaster as well as a selection of crockery, pans, cutlery and glassware.

LIVING/DINING AREA
Sizeable room comprising L shaped leather sofa, dining table and chairs, TV, Games console, bluetoot4h compatible music system, wifi hub, IPTV with access to UK, Spanish, Scandinavian, German, Dutch and Russian, TV including film and sports chanels.

Walking Distance

The beautiul Real de Zaragoza beach is located metres from the Villa.
La Plage Casanis beach side restaurant and bar just a short walk away.
The famous Nikki Beach with its club, bars, restaurants and swimming pools is a short walk along the beach.
Vincci Estrella del Mar beach club, bar, restaurant, spa and gymnasium is five minute walk away (weekly gym passes are available)
Jet skis, pedalos available to hire down on the beach close to the Vincci Beach Club.
The Playwright Restaurant and La Scala two of the highest rated (trip advisor) restaurants in the Marbella region are within walking distance.
Lidl & Mercadona supermarkets are within a 15minute walk but probably best taking the 3-4minute drive with those shopping bags.

All this very close at hand whilst based in a quiet villa where you can choose to have a night in, open a bottle of wine, relax on the roof terrace and take in the twinkling of the lights along the coast from Marbella town round to Gibraltar, the twinkling of fishing boats out at sea, or the twinkling starry night sky above, whilst listening to the waves lapping up on the beach!

Within 30 mins drive

A mere 20minute drive along the coast road is Puerto Banus, with its amazing super rich yacht filled port, numerous bars, restaurants, Night Clubs and exclusive shopping boutiques. Great place to people watch. Seeing Bruce Willis arriving on a Harley at a bar there once was kind of different.
A visit to Marbella town and La Plaza de los Naranjos, quaint narrow cobbled streets, boutique stores, cafes and great tapas bars particularly down by the harbour area.
Just a short 7-8 minute drive away, (walking distance if feeling energetic) is the El Lago michellin starred restaurant. I would highly recommend the tasting menu, truly delicious.
Fancy a bit of shopping ? You have two shopping malls within easy reach, La Cañada some 8 kilometres away on the outskirts of Marbella Town and Miramar about 18 kilometres away in Fuengirola. Miramar also houses a multiplex cinema which normally shows at least 2 films in (VO) version original...English.
A short 15 minute drive gets you to Funny Beach where you can partake in Karting as well as a number of sea based sporting activities
Mijas is home to the best water park in the area and can be reached in 20 minutes

Nearby golf courses ? where to start !!? there are so many, some recommendations, Rio Real challenging with some stunning sea views, Santa Maria golf is very close by (5 min drive) not the longest but some tough holes none the less, El Chaparral some really picturesque holes and Los Naranjos Golf club a little more expensive but the extra touches justify it.

30 mins 2 hours drive

Continuing on the Golf theme at approximately an hours drive are the championship courses of La Quinta, Sotogrande , Finca Cortesin and the venue for the 1997 European Ryder cup win, Valderrama.

Well worth a visit is the picturesque white village of Ronda with its Puente Nuevo, The Arabic walls, city gates and the Mondragon Palace and gardens.
Don't make the mistake of seeing Malaga merely as your airport destination, the city is close by and is extremely culturally and historically rich with castles, cathedrals and museums a plenty.
Feeling brave, enjoy hiking and love the wonders of nature ? If the answer is yes don't miss the "caminito del rey" at about an hours drive the famous and recently renovated mountain path will provide you with a unique experience. (head for heights required)
Approximately two hours away are the cities of Granada and Seville. Granada's Moorish built Alhambra, one of the new 7 wonders of the World is definitely something to behold. The Parque Maria Luisa and Seville Cathedral the third biggest church in the World, and the bullring are among many sites to see in Seville and for the kids there is the Isla Magica theme park
At around an hours drive is Gibraltar, you'll see it from the upstairs terrace but worth visiting little Britain with possible bargains to be had.
