How to reach?
Coming from Porto:
Motorway "A4": Porto to Amarante
Way out: "Exit 16" to: EN210 / M. Canaveses
Follow straight ahead: Direction to Marco de Canaveses until: KM 46.6 on the national road EN210
You will see a sign "Folgoso" and after 100 meters there is a white wall (is the entrance to the Houses). Take care, you are in a road curve.

Folgoso House’s Manual

Keys of the Houses:
- The master key is with you. Please let it inside the home (at the kitchen) when end your stay at the houses.
- There are 3 additional keys in the kitchen: one for each garden gate and the other for the store room where are the swimming pool materials.

Emergencies:
First-Aid Kit (in the bathroom)
Fire Extinguisher (in the kitchen and near the fireplace)
Fire Blanket (in the kitchen)

Energy:
The houses have a main framework for electricity in the second floor, in the hall, where electricity can be turned on / off.
There is also a second framework for electricity in the first floor, in the storage under the stairs.

Boiler:
Fuel based, in the near outside store room.
Operating basics
- The Main Button (at the front top of the boiler) has 3 circular positions: press one time to have hot water in the taps, press second time to have hot water and central heating (in the cold season), press third time and is again in stand by (not heating any water).

Swimming pool:
The swimming pool is available for use.
You have to assume the risks of using a swimming pool and follow the standard rules that should be applied.
It has 12m x 4 m, and it goes from 0 meter to 1.80 meter, in depth, from side to side.
Children should only be at the swimming pool area with adult supervision.
Evaluation of PH and CL will be evaluated with you. Automatic operation keeps adequate levels in a weekly basis. The water flows every day, 8 hours per day, to keep a cleaning standard usage.

Security
Keep the house closed with the key.
When leaving you can just close all the door, let the KEYS on the Kitchen’s Table, and shut the front door.

Garden
The garden in front of the house is available for standard use.
You should not use the border of the garden where the natural limit of the land is dangerous.

Market Garden
You should avoid going to the market garden where different vegetables, fruits aromatic herbs are growing. The market garden area separates the Swimming pool area from the Houses area.
But you can pick some fresh vegetables, as well as some aromatic herbs from the aromatic corner.

Garbage:
Please disposal the daily garbage in adequate plastic bag in the green container located on the EN 210 road (a 50 meters from the Houses).

- “Café-Bar” Largo de São Gonçalo ”(terrace in front of the Old Church’s Front Door): a special place for a dinner and for the evening
- “Lusitânia” (street “Rua 1º de Janeiro”)
- “Zé da Calçada” (street “Rua 1º de Janeiro”): probably with the best terrace over the river
- “Casa da Calçada” (in face of the old bridge): a one star Michelin Restaurant. Also an Hotel and with a Bar for a Coffee or a piece of Cake.
