We had an amazing stay , property is well maintained , huge fire pit , nice outdoors picnic tables …… Inside was just as nice , clean comfortable everything needed was there .
This was our second time at "The Cabin". We love this property, perfect place to get away from it all. We come with our atv and love the convenience of riding right from the cabin to the trails. Keith is a super host and very responsive with any needs. The cabin is spotless and has everything you could need.
My wife and I spent a long weekend at this cabin. The space was extremely clean when we arrived and is fully equipped with all that you need. Plenty to do in the area if you love the outdoors! Cooked dinner at night on the provided gas grill and sat by the fire we built with provided wood! Would recommend to anyone.
If you’re headed to the Upton Maine area, hard to beat the location of this cabin. It’s easy to find, very private, and has everything you need and more. We will definitely be renting this place again the next time we are in the area. Also, the hosts were very attentive and accommodating to our needs but also afforded us the privacy we desired. 5 out of 5 rating for sure.
If you want to relax in the woods of western Maine this is it. Cabin has everything you need for comfort and convenience. You're off the beaten path but still connected with wifi and sat TV. Keith and Marybeth are the owners and go out of their way to answer questions give you all the local info you'd want. Thanks for helping us enjoy stay
The cabin is really clean, feels like everything is brand new. The bathroom and windows appear recently done. There is a grill, firepit, kitchen has all the necessary supplies. Comfy bed. Great stargazing.
This is a great place to stay and the owners put together a helpful list of nearby hiking/sights. We mainly came to kayak on the lake, but we really enjoyed the hiking too! This area will be stellar for leaf peeping in a few weeks!
This cabin could not have been anymore perfect! Loved the furnishing of the cabin and the privacy. Keith came by a couple hours after our arrival. He was easy to get along with and gave us info on activities to do, in the nearby towns. Lake umbagog was a few miles down the street and while kayaking we saw a bald eagle.
We stayed 6 nights and was worth every penny!!! We will return. :)
It was our second visit to this cabin and everything was just as good as the first and better! Clean, comfortable, remote, and pet friendly. Owners are available and highly responsive. Will stay there again if we're in the area again. Highly recommend.
We booked our next stay before we even left. Lovely secluded cabin, very clean, comfortable space. Both my husband and I have bad backs, let me say the beds were super comfortable. It was fully stocked with anything you might need. The ATV trails were accessible right from the driveway, and were amazing. The owners greated us when we arrived and are super nice, and accommodating. We are planning to go back every year. My brother is renting the other cabin right down the road. I definitely give them 5 stars.
A beautiful property and super kind hosts. We enjoyed the clean cozy cabin and privacy for an entire week. We hope to go back! Absolutely loved everything about it!
We absolutely loved our stay at "The Cabin" and would definitely book again. it's so remote that we were able to let our newly adopted dog run around the cabin without a leash and lovely walks were all around us. The cabin was even more comfortable than our home is some ways and we had everything we needed at our fingertips. We never lit a fire because by the time it was dark each day we were already ready for bed from all the adventures we had but there was a big supply of firewood and a lighter all ready for us. The bed was very comfortable and very large! lol Hooks are all over the cabin so always someplace to hang something. Our hosts knew that we'd had serious issues with our new buddy that almost caused us to cancel our trip and left an awesome chew toy for him that is still his favorite. What an unexpected joy! If only it were an easier trip up north for us we would book several times a year!
I had a great solo stay at this property for 4 nights. The property was close to hiking trails and had a great fire pit with lots of firewood available. Everything was as advertised and the property had everything I needed. I would stay here again and recommend the property to anyone.
My husband and I traveled to Maine with our motorcycle trailered. We stayed at the cabin for three nights and toured around the mountain area and really enjoyed the scenery in North west Main. The cabin was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were also in close proximity and they welcomed us with a visit upon arrival. Very nice and very welcoming. Great recommendations for areas to ride and suggestions for us. The king bed in the bedroom was amazing and super comfortable after long days on the bike and hiking. Loved this day and would highly recommend.
If you are looking to getaway from everyday life and enjoy some peace and quiet, look no further.
The Cabin is the place to find time to unwind and relax. Contacless check-in and an immaculately clean cabin starts your stay, and a well stocked kitchen and grill makes it simple to prepare meals while your there. Be sure to stop in Bethel on the way there for groceries. Add in the firepit supplied with firewood for toasting marshmallows, and there isn't much else to ask for.
Nearby state parks and waterfalls give you someplace to go if you want to get out and hike.... And a short drive down the road is the Puzzle Mountain Bakery road side stand, where you can get a home made pie and maple cream cookies to enjoy during your stay. You can message them on Facebook to find out when they are putting out the pies, but hurry because they go quick!
Myself and a few friends flew from Florida to do some bird hunting. We had a great time even though we didn’t have any luck. How ever the cabin was all we could of hoped for. Clean and neat. I would give it a 10. The stars there at night are something to see.
We love the area and have been camping locally for 10+ years. This time we decided to add three nights at the cabin at the end of our week of camping. The cabin was perfect for our needs and well located nearby the areas we wanted to explore. The owner is very helpful & knowledgeable of the local surroundings which are very rural. We will definitely return!
Was a wonderful stay for just my friend and i going hining each day. It is about an hour from the white mountains which is convenient. The cabin was well equipped and was very quiet. Theres a great breakfast place called the damm house down the road that we went to each day!
What a wonderful property. Everything was as expected and more. So super clean and had everything you could need. The host Keith was wonderful and always responded quickly to any questions. We came up with our ATV to ride the wilds in NH but this was a welcome destination. Trail access from driveway (ME trails that connected to NH trails). Loved our stay and will look forward to returning. Loved it!!!!!!
We loved this place. Short drive to lake. The grounds were beautiful. The inside was spotless, modern, comfortable and welcoming
