Less than a mile from the Blue Ridge parkway you will be surrounded by hiking trails and waterfalls. The Blue Ridge Parkway consists of 469 miles of scenic history and is an All-American Road and National Parkway. Taking 52 years it was completed in 1987. This famous piece of American history winds its way along the mountainsides through the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Spanning from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to the Shenandoah National Park.
