This is a unique and special place. Tucked away, yet close enough to downtown and MSU. Very comfortable, quiet and cozy. We loved the outdoor area out front. Susan was warm, welcoming and accommodating.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this special and beautiful place and its owner, Susan. Undoubtedly the best, most desperately needed vacation of my life, and the space she provided was cozy and magical. Definitely will be back!

~ I hope the rest of your travels went well.
summer blessings to you and yours, susan
Perched on a small hill with beautiful views on both sides , this spot felt peaceful and private, yet was only minutes from downtown. The rustic living space added to the charm, and the location made it easy to enjoy both the natural scenery and nearby amenities. Our host was warm and welcoming, giving us a tour of the property and even guiding us on a lovely walk to the pond—a perfect touch to an already memorable stay.
Susan, the owner was a great host, communicated well, she went out of her way, to provide me with a new portable chair, after she found that I had a favorite place, on the property, to watch wildlife! Will definitely return!
We loved our stay at Susan's earth home. It is remote and the views are amazing from the mountain top. It is located close enough to Bozeman for shopping and activities, yet far enough from town to feel seclude and remote. Perfect in every way for us to enjoy our time of relaxation, shopping, walking, reading and cooking at home. We will be back soon!
Susan's retreat was a wonderful surprise for us. 5-10 minutes to downtown bozeman, but really up on a mountain with all the peace and quite included. I was surprised by the overall size of the cabin and all that it offered. My wife asked to extend our stay to have more time with Alta, Susan's super playful doggo.
Susan was a great host, and we look forward to returning to enjoy the cabin.
Having Susan come out to greet you is like seeing a friend you haven’t seen in a long time coming towards you. She is a beyond gracious host and the cabin has literally everything we needed and more. The views and the stars were absolutely beautiful! We began planning our next trip back right after we checked in at BZN to return home! Yep, that good
This cozy one bedroom home sits high above the bustle amidst a beautiful, tranquil setting. The views and the sunsets are spectacular. Susan, the hostess, is warm and friendly. I recommend the experience of this lovely getaway. One word of caution, however: with heavy rain, the winding dirt road up to the property becomes muddy and one area gets standing water. We were able to navigate it even without 4wd, but I think a small car might have problems (and more so in winter snow).
What a joy to meet you and meet again and my 'old time friend' !
~> Thank you for your visit.
Cheers to you and cheers to Wyoming!
Have a beautiful winter.
Let me know when you come through Bozeman again.
Wishing you well, Susan
We had a lovely time visiting Susan’s property. Gorgeous views, relaxing atmosphere & overall a great place! We were able to spot a bear and her cubs and countless deer and enjoyed the company of the dog. We look forward to visiting again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this earth home. The temperatures were hot but the house was a comfortable temperature. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Our host was helpful and welcoming.
Cross the railroad tracks, past the blue farm, and continue up the hillside you'll find yourself at a unique, peaceful vrbo
just a few miles from downtown Bozeman.

It was sheer pleasure to have Diane visit the ‘Earthen Home’.
Diane is Gracious, friendly, enthusiastic, respectful And left everything immaculate.
You will be lucky if Diane Chose your location for her next adventure!
A one of a kind property with that allows for a total disconnect from the day to day routine of our business lives. Perfectly situated just outside Bozeman it offers convenience to shopping, restaurants, and access to the interstate for day trips, while also providing privacy and quiet in a truly original mountain home experience. The property has all you need should you wish to stay in and relax or you can walk down to the stocked trout pond and wet a line, sometimes accompanied by Susan's friendly cat and dog. It was truly the perfect getaway for me and I know I will be back again soon.

Perfect for our needs!
10 minutes from downtown Bozeman---incredibly beautiful piece of property! We settled in immediately, went for a walk, spent time by the pond, soaked up the nature that was all around us. Our second night we had dinner downtown. Upon returning and driving up the driveway we spotted a moose--a great moment for us and especially so for our 8 yr old daughter. Amazing when you consider that we were just 10 minutes from downtown Bozeman. Our host Susan was very pleasant and welcoming. She just seems like a very happy person so willing and happy to share her property with you. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Bozeman. Thank you Susan!
