Kingfisher at South Forda Park is in a 9-acre oasis of countryside calm, ideally located within short distance of North Cornwall & North Devon’s finest beaches and attractions.

South Forda Park offers 4 self-catering lodges within beautiful grounds, each with either a private veranda or garden.

At South Forda Park we embrace a ‘laid back luxury’ approach, offering stylish accommodation with all the comforts of being at home. No need to leave man’s best friend at home either as 3 of our 4 lodges are dog friendly. As our guest you are free to roam amongst the 9 acres of woodland and meadows we have to offer, including access to fish in our 2 x coarse fishing lakes. Alternatively, if fishing’s not your thing, you can choose to read a book with a glass of wine alongside the river!

A lovely cabin in beautiful surroundings

The cabin was perfect for a family of four and had everything needed for our stay. It is a peaceful setting with beautifully maintained lawns and woodland. Very comfy beds and we all slept wonderfully.

Like home from home! Beautifully refurbished lodge with all the essentials. Delicious cream tea on arrival. Fantastic setting amongst fields and lakes - perfect if you have dogs. Hosts incredibly friendly - will definitely stay again and recommend to couples/families/solo travellers looking for a relaxing break. Also great beaches nearby and local farm shop!

Fantastic - Nothing to fault

Great lodge with everything for 4 adults to stay in comfort. Beds, Fire, central heating, fully functional kitchen - literally huge amount of thought has gone into the space. Scones Jam and cream on arival and milk in the fridge. We stay away from home a lot and over time have learnt to bring essentials like salt/Pepper, decent pan, good knife etc - nothing needed all in place. Clean as a whistle. Just book it for a great cornish trip

Perfect weekend escape.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kingfisher. The setting was so peaceful and the property was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The interior and furnishings were lovely which is quite an achievement in a dog friendly place. Elliott was a great host who gave us a warm welcome. We really enjoyed having breakfast in the sunshine on the decked area listening to the birds singing and spotting rabbits. We'd recommend it to others and hope to go back.

Beautiful chalet in peaceful location

The accommodation was of a great standard, beautifully decorated with quality furnishings used throughout. Super comfortable too. Really friendly welcome by Elliot and his wife. The location is excellent, so close to fantastic beaches, we went to Sandymouth every day (10 min drive) with our pup who loved it! The chalet situation is great too, the last one at the end of the drive, there are 3 other chalets but you barely know they are there. Lovely big private grounds too which was perfect for a bit of pup exercise! Would definitely come again. Only tip would be to provide a bath mat - the shower floods the bathroom floor!

Stunning setting and first class accommodation. Highly recommended

We stayed here with our two young children (aged 3 and 6) for a weekend break and it couldnt have been better. Accommodation is stunning and well equipped - designed and built by owners and what a fantastic job they have done. We stayed in Kingfisher lodge which is suitable for children and allows dogs. Quiet location but very easy to get to all the sights. The local beach is just breathtaking. Plenty of local shops, post office, pubs, takeaways nearby. Lovely touch to have locally made fresh scones and teabags on the table and clotted cream, jam and a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival. The fenced off garden and decking made it so safe and perfect for my boys. And lovely grounds to wonder and explore too. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks x
