Thurlibeer Cottage has great views and is close to the north Atlantic coast and beaches. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the views, and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
Just 4 miles from Bude's beaches and its many traditional seaside attractions, this spacious and unusual, colonial-style holiday property has its own garden and commands wonderful views across countryside to Widemouth Bay and the sea.

The Cottage is spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. We have family in Tetcott but love Bude and this was in between both so a perfect location. We will definitely be staying here again.
We hired the smaller cottage the house for 20 friends and family ages 2-60 and it was perfect, had all the facilities and equipment for our stay. The pool table and outdoor space was fantastic. Short distance to Bude. Great communication plenty of parking.
Big cottage. Very well equipped. Very clean. The place is beautiful and the piano made my holiday. The view is stunning and the instructions by email before the was excellent. Was greated by chris who was very helpful and polit. Would recommended to anyone
Very nice cottage, spotlessly clean, although furniture needs attention and updating, sofa and chairs have seen better days, Well stocked kitchen all the appliances you could need.
I would like to thank Chris for supplying sheets and blankets, anywhere else we've stayed have had to take our own
I would say very good value for money.
Large accommodation, Beautiful views. Well stocked kitchen . Quality bedding. Chris the host was very attentive with minor problems. Seating could do with updating, as its seen better days. Overall great location and great place to stay.
Lovely location but the garden needs to be fence in for dogs and kids because it’s so close to a main road.
The house needs a good clean and lots of decorating and some new furniture.all so the kitchen needs a good going through.you could here the people in the house next door and there dogs barking all the time
The communication with the owner could have been better. Nontheless, when we had a problem with the shower, he acted at once and the same say the problemmhad been solved. The cottage was very nice, much larger then expected from the pictures. It was comfortable and had a great view. Our dog was happy in the enclosed garden. All in all a very recommendable place. Close to the sea, good parking.

A bit disappointed. No arrival instructions or information. The heating and hot water is still a mystery!
Yes the view was wonderful but you had to stand in the garden bench to see it becaythe hedge was so high.
Right on a busy road too.
Excellent stay. The view alone from the living room was worth the trip watching the every changing light pattern as the sun chased the clouds in off the Atlantic across the north Cornwall fields, and being out of the every present wind The property itself was perfect for our needs and the hosts were great.
Beautiful location, very specious cottage with garden, supermarkets minutes away , stunning costal walks not far away , and near by beaches. We absolutely loved it here and did not wanted to leave !.. I wish I've booked 2 weeks !.. definitely coming back :*
Our third stay at Thurlibeer Cottage. Excellent base for exploring the area. Superb views. Cottage is well equipped and Chris responded immediately to any queries we had.

Quirky property requiring a substantial update
Fantastic view. But sadly the sleeping experience was terrible. Poor old mattress giving little or no support, a good quality mattress is fundamental to a good overall experience. The whole idea of going away for me is to rest and relax sadly we did neither. Generally the only thing we need in a property is a nice comfy bed. We spend most of our days away walking and eating out. So sadly we won't be staying again.
We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The view from the sun room/conservatory is beautiful and we loved spending our time enjoying it. The cottage is comfy and spacious (although not super modern) and well locatednearBude and the coast. Our hosts were friendly and helpful so I'd thoroughly recommend
