The house is in a charming little village, located 8 minutes from all shops and amenities (Jonchery-sur-Vesle). Its swimming pool is heated seasonally (from June to October, before and after depending on the weather).
The house is located in a typical Champagne village, surrounded by vineyards. Peace and quiet guaranteed; it's ideal for a home-away-from-home experience with family or friends. A former stable and barn, the house has plenty of character and is tastefully furnished. Spacious (approximately 200 m²), it offers every comfort with its two living rooms, one of which has a large fireplace, an office with a sofa bed (on the landing), a large open-plan kitchen, three large bedrooms upstairs, and a bathroom with a bathtub on the ground floor.
Please note: bed linen and towels are not provided. If you would like bed linen, you will need to order it before your arrival for €20 per bed.
The house's greatest asset: its approximately 700m² garden, with its heated swimming pool from June (or earlier if the weather permits) to October (later if the nights are not too cool), secured by an automatic roller shutter; all on a walled plot, not overlooked. The house is located 20 minutes by car from Reims city center (or 10 minutes by train), allowing you to visit the city and its monuments (cathedral, Thau Palace), as well as the greatest Champagne cellars (Taittinger, Pommery, Clicquot, Roederer, etc.).
In the village, there are two winemakers who can offer tastings of Fleury champagne: Le Goulot: +33326485108
Chevalier de Vresse champagne: 44 rue principale: +33326021892
Don't hesitate to contact them on our behalf; you'll receive a warm welcome.
You're also 30 minutes from an aquatic center (Center Parc), where you can spend the day or evening. Most of the Champagne golf courses are located nearby (Reims golf course is 15 minutes away, L'Aillette and Menneville golf courses are 30 minutes away, etc.).
By TGV, from Reims, you're 30 minutes from Euro Disney and Charles de Gaulle Airport and 45 minutes from Paris Gare de l'Est.
For the enjoyment of both adults and children, the village is equipped with playgrounds for children, toddlers, and adults. and large (swings, tennis court, skate park, etc.)
For restaurants, I recommend the restaurant at the Château de Sacy, Mes Désirs in Hermonville, or Coq au Vin in Villedemange.
There's also a takeaway pizza service in the village across from our church, everything to delight your taste buds!
Here are some of the house rules to read to avoid any misunderstandings upon your arrival:
We would be grateful if you would take off your shoes upon arrival at the house.
The house is non-smoking.
Ashtrays are provided outside; please use them and empty them before your departure.
We thank you for not bringing food into the rooms.
The village is quiet, and to respect this tranquility and that of our neighbors, we sincerely ask you not to play music outside and to be mindful of noise when you are in the garden and especially in the pool. 😉😉
Before your departure:
Please leave the kitchen in the same condition as you found it, as the cleaning package does not include kitchen cleaning.
Please empty all your trash and place glasses in the glass bin provided for this purpose (Route de Ventelay to the left of the church).
We would also be grateful if you could put away all outdoor cushions, close the parasols, and return the barbecue in the same condition you found it.
We will remain available throughout your stay and will do our best to ensure you have a pleasant stay and leave with wonderful memories. 😊🙏🙏😊
