Beautiful Loft at Lista Di Spagna in the heart of Strada Nova, which from Piazzale Roma and Train Station leads to the Mercerie, Rialto and San Marco. In a very convenient area to reach all the attractions in Venice. The apartment has been completely renovated using materials of exceptional quality and is equipped with every comfort (free WI-FI, TV, etc.). It is on the third floor of an elegant Venetian building, without elevator and overlooking the Grand Canal that is priceless. It also has a roof terrace 'Altana', perfect for an aperitif or breakfast in peace.

This comfortable apartment, with a view to the Grand Canal, is fully equipped with a large living area. The master bedroom has a view on the Grand Canal. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. The private terrace at guests' disposal, on the roof of the palace, not easy to find in Venice. Writing desk and a modern comfort.

The List of Spain, in the Sestiere of Cannaregio, one of the most wanted areas. It's only a 1 minute walk from the Piazzale Roma car terminal, point of access to the city for private cars. All the public transport lines (vaporetti) depart from Piazzale Roma and the Railway Station, with which you can reach the main attractions of the city and the islands of the Venetian Lagoon.

This area is very well served (short distance away from supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, but also numerous local bars and restaurants). Characteristic and typically Venetian neighborhood. The house is strategically located, about twenty minutes walk from Rialto.

Perfect location

My family of 4 stayed recently and were very happy with the location and close proximity to the train station. The grocery store and bank are on the doorstep and this was the perfect location for exploring Venice.

It's easy to communicate with the host. The location is amazing. It is convenient to eat, to shop and only 3 minutes from the train station. You have the great view of the Grand Canal all day long.

Gorgeous views and amazing location!

Just steps from the canal, this apartment is beautiful. We didn’t want to leave, but when we did, the train station is literally across the street. We visited in March and I did make a mistake to turn up the heat when I woke up, which, I think took the hot water for the shower. Brrrr. We would stay here again, definitely!

Beautiful Grand Canal apartment

We stayed here for 2 nights. If you arrive via the train station it’s literally a minute walk which makes dealing with your luggage super easy. The location cannot be beat! Near train station, on the Grand Canal. The apartment is quite spacious. We would stay here again when we return to Venice.

Relocated to St Mark’s Square area

We have stayed at this Cannaregio apartment before and wanted to stay again. However at the last minute there was a maintenance issue and Elena kindly offered us a different apartment near St Mark’s Square which turned out to be beautiful and in a great location. Location is perfect! Literally a few minutes from the train station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The stairs up to the loft were a bit tough with heavy baggage. In the heat of July, the space was very hot when the air conditioning wasn’t on. We closed the doors to the bathroom and kitchen while we ran it so the living room and bedroom cooled off well for sleeping. We did not make use of the terrace.

Great busy location/base with canal view, easy access to train station and Allilaguna boat transportation to airport. Quite roomy space with amenities as described. Recommend having a white noise machine to mitigate any crowd noise below in the evening. (Never leave home without it!) Thx for the quick communication Elena! Ciao!

I don’t know why people stay in hotels. This apartment was incredible. Great views of the grand canal from windows. Washing machine, hot water, a/c. Location next to train station and water taxi stop. Get a 48 hour pass, it is worth it. It was really nice to wake up to views of the grand canal. Market a few steps away. However, up several flights of stairs so not for anyone that would struggle with steps. Loved it!

Beste Lage mit allem Komfort

Schönes gemütliches Appartement in Bestlage, wenn man die Nähe zum Bahnhof und Vaporetto schätzt, samt schönem Ausblick auf den Kanal. Trotzdem ruhig, bis auf fallweise laute Gruppen, die in der Vorsaison allerdings selten waren. Betteln bequem, auch das Sofa, glücklicherweise mit Schaumstoffmatratzen und WLAN in der Nacht abschaltbar. Supermarkt visavis, gutes Restaurant mit Terasse am Canale Grande gleich nebenan. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, die persönlich nicht anwesend war, war holprig - SMS hat nicht funktioniert und Whatsapp haben wir nicht - so blieben wichtige Fragen zu lange nicht beantwortet. Erfreulich, dass ich jetzt nach der Rückkehr gesehen habe, dass die Vermieterin nun auch Telegram installiert hat... bei so vielen internationalen Gästen und mangelnder persönlicher Präsenz wäre dies auch schon früher wünschenswert gewesen. Nur deshalb ein Stern weniger!

A great flat in Venice

Very much enjoyed our stay. GREAT location for anybody arriving/leaving by train. 3 minute walk and then great access to the rest of Venice. Excellent communication from the owner, even recommendations of good places for dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Die Wohnung ist sehr pittoresk, sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Sie bietet einen grandiosen Ausblick auf den Kanal, ist dabei aber dennoch ruhig. Sie liegt sehr nah am (Bus) bahnhof und Anlegestellen der Wasserbusse. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener und empfehlenswerter Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden und Genießen von Venedig.

On the Grand Canal

This fourth floor apartment has the perfect view of the Grand Canal. It is walking distance to the water taxi, train station and bus station. When the windows are open, you can enjoy the sounds of the canal and street. With the air conditioner running, you can close the windows and shutters and sleep perfectly. We loved this apartment which also has a small rooftop patio to watch the sunset. Definitely worth the many stairs.

The location of this property is perfect beside the train, water taxi & bus stations. Worth considering this so you don’t have to drag luggage to the other side of the island. It is surrounded with good places to eat and has a supermarket and pharmacy on the doorstep, but still quiet in the accommodation. Great views of the canal too.

Wonderful location!!

We stayed at Elena's apartment in Venice for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is great as it is only about block away from the train station and the water taxis and vaporettos. It has a beautiful view of the Grand Canal from both the bedroom and living room windows. You do need to climb four flights of very steep stairs. We hired a porter on the way up and he took our luggage from the train station to the apartment and carried it up. If you have heavy luggage, we would definitely suggest doing that. The lights in the hallway also go out after a specific amount of time, but you just need to press the button on each landing to keep the lights on. The apartment was furnished with everything that you might need, but was very basic. The bed was pretty hard, which we did not mind, but if you are used to a soft bed, you might not find it to be comfortable. There was plenty of storage in the bedroom, and the entire apartment was spacious, and there was also an outdoor balcony that we were able to use. We would highly recommend Elena's vacation rental if you will be visiting the beautiful city of Venice.

Lage soweit ok, sofern man mit dem Zug anreist bzw. das "richtige" Parkhaus frei ist (war es bei uns nicht, dann wird es ein langer Fußmarsch mit Gepäck). Einrichtung eher alt, die beworbene Dachterrasse praktisch unbrauchbar, tagsüber kein Sonnenschutz, abends Tausende Mosquitos, außerdem nur verwinkelt über 4 Türen aus dem App. über den Gang erreichbar....In der Nacht ist dann noch die Klimaanlage ausgefallen, Fenster öffnen geht wegen der Mosquitos nicht, das Warmwasser war in der Früh auch aus. Check in war unproblematisch über Anleitung per E-Mail, wie man das App. bezieht. Eine Flasche Prosecco zur Begrüßung im Kühlschrank war nett, der Kühlschrank hat auch funktioniert, das WLan auch.

Attention this review is not correct and truthful. 1 apartment It could not be more comfortable considering that you arrive in a few minutes from both Piazzale Roma and the train station! 2 apartment is well furnished, as seen in the photos, everyone has his personal tastes and should be careful when choosing whether the structure is to his liking. 3 the terrace, as you can see from the photos is the typical "altana" Venetian, cannot be covered, if it is so hot, it is better to use it for an aperitif in the afternoon! 4 air conditioning and hot  water work very well, in the house there is a book for guests with home instructions, for example which switch should not be pressed to cut power and again above switch is written not to touch and turn off, this is the only reason. Guests have our contacts, why didn’t they call us?? If guests have turned off  switch that runs air conditioning and hot water and guests do not informed us, it is not our fault. I hope I’ve clarified everything and I advice to these guests: be careful when choosing a place, stay in contact with the managers and warn them of any doubt or problem.

Excellent views and convenience

Host gave us detailed self check-in instructions and communication good and instant using the HomeAway app messaging feature. Location great for train, taxi, vaporetto access points. No suffering pulling your luggage around town. However many stairs so pack light/smart. Acqua Alta did affect a little but the city well prepared for it placing platforms to allow one to get around the few submerged areas. Highly recommended for an authentic experience and fantastic view.
