This elegant 1920s Spanish home has a large private downstairs bedroom and full bath with french doors opening onto a lovely garden. You'll also find a flat screen TV, hardwood floors, a ceiling fan, kitchenette with mini refrigerator and microwave, laundry facilities, bikes, BBQ and ample parking.

Coronado's world famous beach, ranked the #1 beach in America by Dr. Beach in 2012, is about six blocks away, with the iconic Del Coronado Hotel and it's fabulous restaurants, shops, etc.

This is a beautiful and cozy space away from the main busyness of the island. I especially enjoyed the bike that made it a quick 5 minutes to the beach.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The tile shower was recently updated and very nice. We enjoyed the amenities: two beach cruiser bikes with helmets and locks and beach chairs you could carry like backpacks with towels which made them easy to take to the beach. There is parking available but we used the bikes to get around the island. We used the washer and dryer which was super convenient. George is a super great host and we enjoyed staying at his elegant apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was everything I needed and wanted it to be. It was clean, pet-friendly, and close to everything. The backyard is inviting and provided a cool respite from the heat. The room is comfortable and quaint with a lot of the period charm still intact. And while there was no AC, there were several fans provided that kept things cool. The host was very gracious and greeted me warmly upon arrival. We did not run across each other for the rest of my stay but I have no doubt that if I needed anything he would have been available immediately. My son is stationed at Coronado and I would definitely stay here again.

The host is very communicative/responsive and friendly. It is a very cute little place, charming, in a very quiet neighborhood. There was never an issue with parking. There is a lovely patio area right outside the door to the unit (in a private backyard for the residence). We were there for my brother's wedding on the beach and it was easy to get around to everything (driving) on the island. Most especially - it is dog friendly and we were able to bring our guy with us and take walks in the neighborhood. Very relaxing

Can't beat the price for the location. Loved the island and Geaorge was a pleasure. Note there is a shared yard and laundry and no kotchen but for the price you can't beat it.

Walk or ride bicycles to an excellent swimming or surfing beach (bicycles included), or watch the sunset by a campfire. Take a lovely walk by the nearby famous Del Coronado Hotel or partake of Coronado Village.
