Inside the Apartment:
Living Room: The open layout connects the living space to the bedroom through wide doorways, creating a spacious feel. There’s a comfortable sofa bed (1m wide), a dining table, and a beautiful original fireplace. With 3.4m high ceilings and large windows, the room is filled with natural light, highlighting the oak floors and cast-iron radiators.

Bedroom: The bedroom has a king-size bed with a thick memory foam mattress and soft 400-thread-count linens—perfect for a good night’s sleep. There’s also plenty of wardrobe space and a small desk if you need to work. Like the rest of the apartment, the high ceilings and original details make the space feel elegant yet cozy.

Great Place, Perfect Location

I spent 7 nights in this cozy spot. Everything was as advertised and worked perfectly. The kitchen and bathroom are obviously newly renovated. The kitchen is very well equipped (pots, pans, plates plus coffee/tea, etc). Plenty of hot water in the shower. I used the washing machine once as well. Heating in the apartment worked well. (I was there in January so an important thing.) The bed was comfy and the apartment very quiet. I live in a city and I'm used to hearing garbage trucks beginning at 5:30 AM. I was amazed how quiet the street was here ... even though it's just steps from Notting Hill Gate Rd. Which brings me to the location. Notting Hill Gate tube is about 3-4 minutes walk from the flat and has three lines: Central, District and Circle. Which makes it super convenient to get around London. There was only one day I needed to make a change. Three grocery stores plus a Boots on Notting Hill Gate Rd between the tube and the apartment. Communications with Nick were professional and always quickly responded to. As a woman traveling alone this was a wonderful place to spend a week while investigating London!

Best neighborhood, easy walk to the underground. Close to grocery shopping and high street Kensington. Clean and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We absolutely loved it.

Loved Apt and Location

This was perfect for two 75 year-old Americans during our 8 day stay in London. Excellent lighting and absolutely everything supplied in spotless large apartment on the first floor. (The only steps are about 8 up into the building, a big plus for older people.) Nice quiet neighborhood. Large shower; good bed; washing machine; small modern kitchen (no microwave or TV). Very secure. Notting Hill Underground has three lines (go everywhere faster than buses, but many steps). (Bus number 27 goes to Paddington Station for fast train from/to Heathrow. Number 94 to Piccadilly Circus -- sit in front upstairs and enjoy the half-hour trip.) Two grocery store choices, both good, within two blocks.

Nick is a very accommodating, kind and considerate host. He was quick to respond to our needs / questions and provided assistance as necessary. The flat is conveniently located between High Street Kensington and Nottinghill Gate tube stations and is walking distance to both high streets. Perfect for shopping and eating out and ease of access to other areas around London. It’s located in a very quiet and safe area and it is situated very close to Holland Park, allowing us visit the Japanese gardens multiple times during our stay. We preferred to eat in as the flat was well equipped with lots of modern cooking utensils and close to multiple supermarkets. It is also super clean with a modern bathroom and comfortably slept three of us. In short, we had a truly lovely holiday and can’t wait to book another stay at Nick’s apartment.

Great London Location

I had a delightful 5 week stay at this very well appointed apartment conveniently located in Kensington, just shy of Notting Hill. Both the Notting Hill tube stop and bus stop were less than 2 blocks away with a number of grocery market and restaurant options within brief walking distances. Major tourist sites, theater and museums were easily accessed by the bus or tube. Hyde Park and Kensington Palace were 4 blocks away and the shops on Kensington High Street were nearby. The apartment was very comfortable and charming and Nick was readily available with any questions. Definitely a place I would hope to come back to and will recommend to friends.

Newly-renovated modern city apartment in a great location - Highly recommend!

My stay at Nicks' apartment was a pure pleasure. The apartment has been recently renovated; all is new and sparkling clean! I loved the decor, furniture and paintings whilst the bed was ultra comfortable. Great shower! The apartment is very close to the Notting Hill tube station yet it is very quiet as it is located in a calm side street. Close to many attractions including Portobello market, Kensington Gardens, Natural History Museum, Science Museum - all within a walking distance. Nick is a very pleasant and helpful host; easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend his place to everyone.
