First class accommodation with outstanding views

A truly luxurious villa. The standard of design, build & outfitting is very good & the location is perfect. The views are unbelievable (white mountains & the sea) & the owner, Katerina, could not be more helpful both before & during the holiday. The bars & restaurants in town are 5 mins walk from the villa & provide plenty of variety. There is plenty to do with walks, kayaking & swimming. Alternatively, just enjoy the views from this beautiful villa.

September Wedding

We rwere guests at all three of the adjacent SKPlace Villas in Almyrida for our wedding in September. All of our families were extremely pleased and relaxed. The accomodations were only surpassed by the quality of the staff. We are so spoiled by the luxury and personal treatment we received. Thank you Katrina, Ariadne, and all your staff for helping to make our celebration perfect. I would recommend without hesitation SKPlace. The location near, but not in, Almyrida was great. Close enough that we can comfortably walk to town, but far enough away that we felt seclusion when we wanted it. We very much enjoyed visiting the small villages and the wonderful restaurants near Almyrida. It was also close enough to Chania and the airport that trips there were not inconvenient.

SK Place was a dream inspired by the unspoilt beauty of the land handed down by our grandfathers, the traditional architecture of Crete and the youthful vibrancy of our children. This dream became a reality in 2008 when we built Villa Ammos, Villa Anemos and Almyrida Residence.

Pavlos is a qualified architect trained in Milan. His work is based in the town of Chania, where he has run his own design and build practice since 1985. Katerina is a financial accountant and manager working since 1985 with Pavlos in his architectural-construction studio and her passion is interior design. Stella and Kostantinos are our kids and we named SK Place after them because we wished them to know that they too belong to this land of our forefathers.
