Brilliant Stay

Had a wonderful stay at York's Boutique, the apartment was pristine, quite modern and comfortable. had all the necessary amenities, very close to the town centre, could walk anytime you want, have lots of shops but a bit secluded as well, excellent property, would very much recommend. parking was comfortable, a bit tight of you have 4x4, apart from that, had a great time, lovely stay in a lovely city.

Great location near york city centre. Everything was very thorough from booking to collection of keys and building access. Inside the apartment was superb, well laid out and very clean. The bottle of prosecco was a nice touch for our welcome. Will definitely book again

LOVELY STAY AGAIN

Our second stay . Lovely location , clean everything you need. Our only problem was we were two couples so two sets of keys would have been very useful . Also we couldn’t get the wi-fi to work we did ring the number we were given but nobody called us back . As we were at York for the racing Wi-Fi would have been good . Only little issues we will definitely book again . Thank you

Impressive

A very clean, spacious, comfortable apartment with an excellent location 5 minutes from the town centre. It was located in a secure gated location with secure parking, which is an added bonus in the centre of York. Very well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday including a washing machine and dryer. Only issues we had was no hot water on the morning of our last day and the water drains very slowly from the shower and sink in the en-suite bathroom. Really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend as a lovely place to stay for a visit to York. Would definitely book again in the future. Dave

Fab weekend break!

Arrived Sat for a quick weekend break. Ideal location and quick walk into main shopping area. Fab apartment, clean, well equipped kitchen (didn’t use half the facilities but could easily have spent a week there and cooked if need be). Great balcony area and large lounge. Only slight negative was the bed/mattress in the main bedroom was quite hard and uncomfortable - needs a softer mattress but would definitely stay again as it was lovely.

Great stay for the races!

My son and his 2 mates stayed here for 2 nights as they had booked to go to the races. They said it was very clean & in a great location & only 20 minutes walk from the station. They didn't use the parking but I know how hard it is to find parking in the centre of York so that was an added bonus to the property.

Lovely secure property, perfect location

Had a lovely 2 night stay here. First impressions of the building are really good, safe secure gated apartment block with a private car park etc. Once in the apartment it was immaculate throughout, there are 2 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is great. Cosy sitting area and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable! Everything you could need to hand in the kitchen area. And a lovely little balcony to sit out on!! Location was great too, you literally walk for w few minutes and your bang in the centre! Would recommend!

A great stay in Dixon’s Yard, York

In need of somewhere to stay in York for five weeks, we were recommended to York Boutique Lets by a local estate agent. After viewing a selection of properties online, we decided on a two bedroom apartment in Dixon’s Yard, a small gated development in the centre of York. In terms of location, it was easy to get to and sits at the bottom of Fossgate, a short walk away from the city centre and all the sights of York. The apartment was a great size for the two of us, and ideal for a group of four too. A comfortable living and dining area, a spacious and reasonably well equipped kitchen, excellent bathroom and en-suite shower (very powerful and plenty of hot water) and a wonderful balcony for the warm April days we had. The space for one car was fine for our Mini, perhaps tight for an SUV, but given two were parked in spaces opposite, maybe not. Overall, a perfect location for a visit to York. We can certainly recommend the Brew York bar next door (no noise) and the coffee and cinnamon and raisin bagel at the Perky Peacock beneath Lendal Bridge. Thank you York Boutique Lets

We will definitely be returning here! The location is excellent and the customer service could not be better. I rang 2 or 3 times with different questions which were answered quickly and confidently. The apartment itself was absolutely lovely. It was huge! Thankyou!

unfortunately not luxury in our opinion

The apartment is in an excellent spot we have stayed in other flats within the same complex before, when we arrived unfortunately we had trouble collecting the keys and working out which key safe it was as there are quite a few in the same place and the picture they send you has a name dixons yard on it but that name is missing , Then when we got in the apartment there were no tea towels or hand towels or bath matts which wasn't helpful, the fridge wasn't getting to temperature we had to throw away some milk and my wife's insulin wasn't cold which is really not good the lights above both the mirrors in the both bathrooms were not working might not great while trying to shave there was also a fault with a spotlight above one of them, the ensuite shower was not super clean mostly scale build up I think some grout was falling off the front door lock needs a little oil, watch out for the beds there wooden and larger than the mattresses so its very easy to catch your feet on them as there is not a lot of room round the beds. the whole place needs a little love and attention and redecorating I may be being a little picky but its called a luxurious apartment and im afraid its just not in its current state
