The Bay, Filey is an award-winning, holiday village with direct access to miles of stunning beach. Facilities inc swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, beauty room and dog friendly pub/restaurant.

Meadowside House is a beautiful, cosy, family and dog friendly holiday cottage with plenty of space. It's very well equipped with lots of extra provisions to make your stay easier/more enjoyable and to keep everybody entertained. It's well suited to a range of guests from families and friends to retired couples/friends. Ideal for special celebrations and multi-generation family holidays/stays.

When the weather is good it's well positioned backing onto a lovely grassed area with boules court. Perfect for sitting out on the patio and enjoying some relaxed time after a day on the beach or visiting the surrounding area. Ideal for parents watching their children play.

In winter and when the weather is not so good the Meadowside House is equally inviting and cosy. You can still wrap up and enjoy a walk on the miles of stunning beach and then return to the warm cottage, snuggle up on the sofa (blankets provided), open the wine and chocolates and take some time out to watch a good film or box set on Netflix, play one of the games provided or read one of the books/magazine supplied. The on-site pub is also very cosy in winter.

The cottage is decorated beautifully with plenty of space and quality equipment and homeware provided.

Downstairs there is an open plan living/kitchen area with patio doors leading onto a patio overlooking the boules court area, separate dining area, downstairs double bedroom, porch and downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, second double bedroom, third bedroom with bunk beds plus a single bed, landing area and family bathroom.

We aim to make your stay as enjoyable and easy as possible by providing lots to make your stay run smoothly and packing easier, including a luxury welcome hamper on arrival.

The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer and lots of equipment making cooking in easy. However, if you prefer not to cook there's the option of the dog friendly on-site pub which serves food and there are also lots of take-aways and restaurants in the area.

Beds are made up on arrival and towels supplied.

Use of the on-site swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym are included.
