Beckside Cottage provides a real home from home, the perfect place to simply just relax and holiday at, and as a base for exploring the magnificent countryside, lake and villages. Whether you come for holidays with family and friends, or are gathering for reunion or celebration, Beckside Cottage will please, leaving you with many happy memories of your stay.

Boasting three comfortable, individually styled bedrooms easily sleeping six people and a large triple aspect lounge, with deep settees, baby grand piano, fire and plenty of media, books and games - this cottage has it all.

There is also everything you require should you decide to self-cater and make the most of the large cottage dining table seating for eight. The impressive fully fitted wooden kitchen has a large five burner, double oven range cooker, fridge/ freezer and dishwasher and opens out into the dining area, with its cosy log burner.

The cottage has a super garden with natural flowing stream & plenty of parking.

Further details downstairs: Access to Beckside Cottage is to the rear of the cottage, where from the little porch, perfect for muddy boots, you enter the hall of the 'topsy turvey' house. Enchanting many guests the living accommodation is upstairs.

Off the lower hall are three bedrooms (a twin and two king size doubles), each carefully and tastefully furnished with a different Lakeland theme - Potter, Wordsworth and Bluebird. The master has both a king sized bed and en-suite shower room, while the second king size double and the twin room share a luxury fully tiled family bathroom with large bath and separate shower cubicle.

Further details upstairs: Up the stairs you are immediately into the large living room. Drenched in natural light this room has windows covering all aspects, with delightful views over the garden from large windows. After an invigorating day in the lakes, come home and sink into the deep comfy sofas. The large flat screen TV offers a range of digital channels or choose to chill out with a DVD, this is great space for socialising, reading or just relaxing. There is a feature stone fireplace with gas fire to cosy up to, but most will, perhaps, be propped up against the baby grand piano with a glass of wine in hand............if only Jamie Cullum were resident too!

From the lounge it's into the dining room and large, well equipped, kitchen, where with a log burning stove and a few candles, you can set the mood for fine dinners and conversation.

Further details outside: There is a useful external boot/utility/wash room for storing bikes and walking gear, this room also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

The large garden is a mix of light and shade, created by shrubs, small trees, grass and rockery with a fine vista through the trees out towards the Coniston mountain range. There is also a small stream runs through so please take care with young children.

There is private off road parking parking for up to four cars.

The back entrance door leads to a lovely paved patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining or evening soirées.

Spacious and comfortable with everything you need
The property had everything we needed for a week self catered holiday. Plenty of room, great facilities and handy to visit all the Lake District. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Brilliant shower in the bathroom. Great Laundry facilities with added bonus of a line and pegs as well as dryer. It was A1 accommodation. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay
Lovely property but should show on photos that it is attached to a residential property. Beautiful gardens and well equipped comfortable and spacious cottage, however,a lot of traffic noise and a slight lingering smell of damp. Overall very pleased and would recommend

Lovely base from which to explore
We spent much of our time out of the cottage exploring the wonders of the District, but we enjoyed the time we did spend there. The photos don't do the gardens justice. We enjoyed reading and working in the garden. The kitchen had everything needed. The communications were prompt and helpful. Thanks Emma and all!
