All rooms overlook the terrace from which you can see Etna. The terrace in front of the kitchen is covered and is furnished with table and chairs for dining. There is the possibility of a parking space inside the villa. In addition to a large swimming pool there is also a hydromassage pool and a children's pool. The house is in a magnificent position, and is well connected to Catania, with Etna
and with the main towns of eastern Sicily. The sea is a few meters away. It is also possible to rent a boat, go accompanied by fishermen to the island Lachea and go snorkelling.

La location est très bien située pour découvrir l est de la Sicile ! La résidence est calme et le coin piscine est très très agréable. Cinzia et sa famille sont extrêmement réactifs et disponibles pour donner des conseils ou informations.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieter, sehr schöne Anlage!

Nach einer völlig chaotischen Anreise, der Flug wurde nach Comiso umgeleitet und gab keinen Transfer vom Airport, wurden wir herzlich von Cinzia und ihrem Mann empfangen und zum Abendessen des Lions Club eingeladen. Die Temperaturen waren durchgehend über 30°C, an mehreren Tagen sogar bis zu 45°C. Die Wohn-/Schlafräume sind klimatisiert und die sehr schöne Poollandschaft mit Bar bot abkühlung. Das Meer und ein Strand waren nur ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Am Hafen gibt es viele Restaurants welche Meeresspezialitäten anbieten. Es ist ratsam, sich für die Zeit des Aufenthalts einen Mietwagen zu besorgen, Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend auf dem Gelände. Nach Catania benötigt man ca. 30 Minuten. Unsere Vermieterin Cinzia half uns bei allen Fragen und bestellte uns ein Taxi, wenn wir es benötigten. Die Kommunikation fand komplett in englisch statt. Wir können die "Villa delle Palme" gern weiterempfehlen, hier kann man wunderbar Urlaub machen und es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten auf Sizilien. Von unserem Balkon aus hatten wir einen direkten Blich auf den Vulkan Ätna. Wir bedanken und für den wunderschönen Urlaub auf Sizilien, in der "Villa delle Palme"!

Great Views Listing Not what was Promised.

The host was very helpful with everything and the view from the apartment was amazing. We paid for a 3 Bedroom, 2 bath that looked amazing in the pictures. What we got was a 2 bedroom with very low beams that you had to watch your head when moving around and1 bath that looked nothing like the pictures. We were told those pictures were only a sample of some of the apartments but it did not say that anywhere in the listing. Just a bit heartbreaking when you arrive on a vacation and nothing looks like it did on the listing. We did appreciate the view and how helpful the host was.

Bon sejour, personnel sympatique. Piscine agreable. Mais Appartement sale et délabré à l'image de cette region ou les poubelles s'entassent devant des restaurants fermés et abandonnés depuis longtemps. Vestiges d'un passé plus heureux.

Very basic

My friend and I stayed for a week, when we arrived we were not sure that we were expected. The room wasn’t made up the beds had been slept in, and it was quickly done while we retrieved our luggage from the car. Asides from that the apartment was ok, nothing special, one of the beds was extremely hard. The kitchen was very basic, the bathroom was too, the safe was not working. There was a shared pool that closed quite early in the day, we went out every day and never got back before the pool had closed so never got to use it. The location is good if you have a car, it is not easy to walk anywhere as there are no pavements so we ended up driving. But it’s about halfway between Taormina and Syracuse so both are easy to get to and spend days out there. Aci Trezza is a nice small town with the lovely volcanic coast. No beaches but you can swim or kayak out to the rocky islands. Depending on what you are looking for with your stay really. This isn’t a luxurious villa but it will do the job if you want a place to put your head down.

Dear Jemma, Thank you for your feedback. The mattresses used in the villa are of very good quality, which entails that they are of a texture deemed good by/for the majority of people. The swimming pool is open for the whole day, that is from 9am to 7:30pm. It needs to be cleaned on an everyday basis, which is usually done in the evening. However, where our guests have special demands, we are always very willing to satisfy their requests. The apartments are not basic. Instead, they are provided with all the necessary equipment to allow our guests to enjoy their stay in a comfortable house. We recommend our guests to rent a car as this is the easiest way to travel around Sicily. However, we also offer shuttle services around the island or to Aci Trezza. Best regards, Cinzia

Très belle prestation, magnifiques vacances

La location est située dans un magnifique parc , la piscine est géniale. L’appartement est très agréable pour des vacances en famille : grandes chambres ,avec rangement, bonne literie, machine à laver, équipement de cuisine suffisant, télé,,climatisation... La location est très propre et tout le linge de maison est fourni. Très belle terrasse avec vue sur la mer.... Très bon accueil, propriétaires chaleureux et disponibles. Vacances parfaites ! Je recommande vivement cette location, nous avons adoré !

Ruim appartement, vriendelijke eigenaresse

De eigenaresse van het appartement was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We werden gastvrij ontvangen met heerlijke eigengemaakte jam in de prive tuin waar we ons eerste ontbijt kregen de volgende ochtend. In het hoogseizoen is dit ontbijt op een gemeenschappelijk terras, dat is aanzienlijk minder. Het appartement is gelegen in een enorme villa met in totaal 8 appartementen. Het appartement is ruim en voorzien van airco. De matrassen zijn aan de harde kant helaas evenals een deel van de hoofdkussens. De keuken is zeer gedateerd en niet erg schoon met weinig voorzieningen (weinig pannen, warm water deed het niet in de keuken. Warm water in de douche pendelde van heet naar koud. Als er meerdere gasten in de appartementen verblijven kan het ook behoorlijk gehorig zijn door de marmeren vloeren. (Wel een mooi uitzicht in de verte op de Etna vanaf ons balkon in ieder geval) Het zwembad buiten is zeer riant en mooi in een prachtig aangelegde tuin met voldoende stoelen, schommelbanken en loungesets en een grote overkapping. Let wel: wij waren er begin mei en dan is het weer nog niet stabiel en het water van het zwembad behoorlijk koud. WiFi werkte prima, 24/7 bereik, prima in orde dus, een uitzondering voor Siciliaanse begrippen. Kortom, prima voor een kort verblijf om Etna en Taormina te bezoeken.
