In the Azores you will find this stunning villa located in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, Vila de Capelas, only 15 minutes by car from João Paulo II airport and the historical city center of Ponta Delgada.
Excellent for seaside holidays (100 meters), its location offers tranquility in a distinctive landscape, but where everything is only a few minutes away.
The town of Capelas has been known for its history of the Baleeira Saga, as well as being a very summer zone due to its microclimate, determined by the formations of the basaltic stone of volcanic origin. Here are still the last vestiges of what was once the old Whale Factory on the island of São Miguel.
Just outside the property there are pedestrian paths, a 2.5 km promenade, belvederes with breathtaking views, barbecue areas as well as natural pools (in the sea) and the Port of São Vicente Ferreira.

Waterfront s

Property was in a great spot centrally located where nothing felt like too far of a drive. Beautiful cliffs close by for a nice walk and soccer stadium across the street if thats your thing. Would stay again

Azores holiday

Rent a car and explore the whole island it’s beautiful! Good location hiked along the coast ever morning. Close to airport and Ponta Del Gado for night life. Plenty of room for my family of six. Very comfortable stay.

Perfect location to explore the island

The house is as described with plenty of space and right by ocean path. It is across from stadium but that wasn’t a problem when we were there. Kitchen is well equipped .

Wonderful village with beautiful view!

Spacious apartment more than comfortable for 2 adults We didn’t even use the third bedroom Honestly we were soo busy hiking this BEAUTIFUL island that we didn’t spend much time at this residences I think the real question is would I stay there again…YES! 3 nights were too short to enjoy all you can see In Sao Miguel

Rental was clean and in close proximity to natural pools in city. Spacious inside with inner courtyard. Air conditioner worked well. General maintenance of the rental could be improved. On our arrival we were informed the refrigerator needed replacing. It was replaced two days into our stay. Car rental is required.

Large house near the Ocean of the North Side

In general, this is a very nice property. Lots of space, a really nice enclosed inner courtyard, an outside grill, a nicely equipped kitchen and 1 1/2 baths. You are across the street from the local football/soccer field, unfortunately, no games were played during our stay. Parking was private and easy. Lots of TV and lots of English channels. Short walk to ocean overlook, slightly longer walk to natural swimming pools, and a nice long walk along the ocean. Not really good views from the house being so close to the ocean. Beds were comfy, pillows were decent, large bath towels. A couple of downsides. First, the main bathroom smelled strongly of sewer. We found that putting the stopper in the tub/shower helped, but had to buy air freshener. Second, there is a slight step down as you walk out to the courtyard. The tiles are the same and blend together, both my wife and I almost fell multiple times until we got used to it. A strip of a different color tape on the top would help immensely.

La casa está muy bien situada y es grande. Las camas son cómodas. Cuenta con cocina completa, dos baños y aire acondicionado así como una terraza trasera donde poder tender e incluso hacer una barbacoa.El check-in sin problemas. Como única cosa no positiva, decir que se nota un cierto olor a humedad y los desagües de los baños huelen también regular. En resumen, es una muy buena opción como base para conocer la maravillosa isla de Sao Miguel.

Great property next to the sea and nearby from a natural pool. It’s in a village near to Ponta Delgada. Good size villa and a courtyard inside. Great to walk outside. Carlos, the owner was great with communication sharing great deal of information right from the beginning and throughout our stay there.

Great place to relax and spread out.

This property was very clean and spacious. The location was beautiful with views of the water and close to the piscina natural. Carlos responded quickly to any questions and provided a thorough list of things to do and places to eat. I highly recommend this property.

My name is CARLOS and I am from the island of São Miguel (Azores). I studied and started working in Lisbon, but in 2000 I returned to São Miguel. I am married, I have 3 children and I live in Ponta Delgada.

In 2015 I began to dedicate myself to rent holidays homes, being currently my main activity. I am the owner and manager of some properties in Ponta Delgada: 2 apartments in the center of Ponta Delgada and a house at seaside.

I like to welcome my guests and to give them an excellent holiday in São Miguel. In addition to the quality and good location of my properties, I am always available (WhatsApp) for guests, with information on tour guides of the main places to visit and recommendations for restaurants.

I am a rent-a-car partner, and I can book the car.
I can also arrange the transfer from the airport to the property and vice versa, at any time.
