Beautiful villa and apartment. Lots of different areas to sit within the grounds. Very peaceful and the views were lovely. Very clean.Host and manager were both so helpful and gave us lots of information and very responsive to any enquiries and questions.

Lovely stay

Great property with the outside space really making it a lovely place to stay for the wk with a mix of ages from 15 - 76! Abi was amazing and was on the end of the phone to help with any queries. The hill getting to the property is steep but if you are fit it is doable…we had a lovely stay.

We had the most wonderful week at High Grove Villa. Having seen the photos online our expectations were high - but we were blown away when we arrived. The pool and outside space is stunning - we found it difficult to leave the villa all week!

Wonderful stay in Planos

This was everything we had wished for and more. Lovely quiet location with a wonderful view of the sea. A beautiful villa with lots of space set in very lovely grounds. A fantastic swimming pool, lovely areas to sit and sunbathe or fantastic areas to sit to eat out side under a pergola. The villa manager was fantastic, very welcoming, and very helpful. We all had an amazing time and we were sad to leave.

Fabulous time at High Grove Villa!

Our group of 4 adults, one teen and 2 children had the most wonderful time at this lovely home. A big thank you to Fran and Abi for a smooth check-in and quick response to any inquiries. The pool was a highlight and the villa was very clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Highly recommend!

Fabulous villa with stunning pool area

We had a wonderful stay at Highgrove villa and we’re brilliantly looked after by David who manages the property , any little hiccups we’re sorted out in no time and we had the most fabulous week the villa is well equipped and the separate apartment downstairs was ideal for our 4 teenage and young adult nieces - we would highly recommend

Perfect Villa

7 of us, 3 adults and 4 teenagers, had a perfect two weeks at this lovely villa. The pool is fantastic and there is plenty of outdoor space to relax in. Villa set up was spot on with the 4 boys using the downstairs apartment and adults in the villa. Some lovely restaurants (Botanic the best) in Tsvili and fair few bars too but not too crowded. Bit of a walk back up the hill but worth it for the quality and location of the villa.

An absolutely beautiful villa in an oasis of calm and peace. An amazing pool and a stunning location! Abi took great care of us and was extremely helpful as was Fran. Close to perfect

We had a very pleasant stay, with Abi being the perfect hostess. Luckily the airconditioners were functioning correctly as we touched 40 deg on several days! In that respect having a bit of shade (umbrellas) next to the pool would have made our stay even more beautiful.

What a pool and large gardens.

The Villa is well equipped, both kitchens and both the main villa and lower ground apartment. All rooms air conditioned. You can see its the owners holiday home and not just a rental property.The real appeal of this property though is the outside, the long pool is excellant (but not too deep). The different areas means that everyone can find their own space. The only minor negative is the pool area can get breezy at times and the unbrellas supplied need to be put down, so fixed shaded areas or umbrellas would be a plus till later afternoon where shade can be found.Location is great for the relatively fit. 10 mins walk into town. Lots for everybody as you walk into Planos.Abi was great help always in communication and there for the few minor issues that arose. The pool guy also kept things tip top.We rent Villas every year, this was the most expensive we've paid but the pool and outside area the best we have experienced.Would definitely recommend.

Little bit of heaven

Our whole stay was amazing. The villa suited us well as there were 7 of us. The apartment attached was small but just the job for my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Myself husband other son and daughter-in-law shared the main villa. The outside area is the main event and the views divine. A car was needed as the villa is away from the main town and up a bit of a steep track. Tsilivi is lively and local beeches good for sunbathing. Lovely restaurants too. Boat trip we had was so lovely and we all have great memories to keep for always. Our agent David was excellent, keeping us informed and giving advice etc. car hire , beeches to try. He looked after us well. We would definitely return!!

Really lovely villa with perfect outside space

The villa was exactly what we were looking for and provided a perfect outside space for the whole group (which consisted of five adults and a toddler). Location wise was spot-on for us but it should be noted that (although not essential) you’ll probably need a taxi back in the evening as it’s uphill and there’s no pavements on the final stretch up to the villa. There’s loads of wildlife to spot from birds of prey to geckos however there were a few visitors that weren’t so pleasant! In the Isle of Man we’d call them long tails but I’ll let you Google that to understand what I mean. Considering the location it’s really not surprising as you’re in the middle of huge olive groves but it would be wrong of me not to mention it as others may struggle with the fact where we really didn’t mind. Overall I’d highly recommend this accommodation and David (the Villa Manager) was spot-on, getting the balance between being there when we needed him and keeping his distance when we didn’t perfectly!!! I’ve gone for four stars a) because there was a couple of things that didn’t work as expected and b) because there isn’t a 4.5 which I would have given if there was. Thank you Fran; it was three years in the making but well worth the wait and we loved every minute

Amazing place and ideally located

Owners of the property were excellent and could not be more accommodating. The views from the property are stunning as was the property. Pool is huge and the outdoor area is ideal for a family. I would highly recommend this property and will most likely re-book some time in the future.

Wonderful Relaxing Holiday

We had a wonderful stay at High Grove Villa. There were three generations of family (9 in total) and all fitted in. We particularly loved the outside space which is stunning and great a big group can all be together or find your own space if you wanted. Everything is of a very high standard and inside is decorated stylishly and it’s clear it’s a well loved family home. We did not hire a car but used taxis when we wanted to head out. The villa is walkable to the town and beach (bit of a climb on the way up). One of our party could not walk far but we knew we would need to use taxis or hire a car before we came as it would be too far for someone with walking difficulties. If you do use taxis best to book half an hour before you need them as couple of times we were late for restaurant bookings but appreciate it was key holiday time and we are on holiday so no stressing! The weather was very hot whilst we were there (August) but majority of days there was a cooling breeze and always a shady spot outside or air con inside. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and would recommend this beautiful home to stay in.

Perfect paradise

Paradise with magnificent views

Beautiful villa in a wonderful setting amongst the olive groves. The pool and garden area are fabulous with amazing views. The terrace area is a real sun trap with lots of amazing places where you can retreat if you fancy some shade or al fresco dining - it was perfect It was a short walk into Tsilivi where we had some lovely meals in the local tavernas and bars. We also enjoyed a trip or two to the beach. The villa was fabulous containing everything we need for our holiday. We didn’t want to go home & would definitely recommend it

We are a professional couple with a family and grandchildren from the south east of the UK. We have renovated this villa and designed it so that it is family friendly and perfect for family holidays set in the most beautiful location, wonderful views and outdoor living at its best. We, and our family spend as much time here as possible and love the location as it is tranquil and private but close to all amenities and fabulous beaches.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Zakynthos, the climate, the local Greek people, the beaches, the food, the sunshine and found this little oasis of calm literally 10 minutes walk from the beach. We have since totally renovated the property and made it into two self contained units all fitted out to our high standards for luxury family living. The two pools were completed last year, the toddler pool for my grandchildren and the 15 x 4 metre pool for adults and its surrounding areas are, we think amazing. All our friends and visitors think so too.
We invite you to enjoy them too.

What makes this property unique

We love the peace and calm from the villa, its beautiful olive grove, the wonderful views of Kefalonia, enjoying sundowner drinks from the Pavilion whilst watching the sunset then eventually sitting outside at night with the pool lights listening to the cicadas.
