King en suites. Walk to Town center. Porches with city & mountain views.

We are following the CDC and the Asheville Cares guidelines for keeping our apartment to the highest standards for disinfecting and cleanliness.
There are 3 decks for your enjoyment with panoramic views of both downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The first deck has a gas grill, a cocktail table and bench. You will want to spend as much time as possible enjoying time relaxing or dining on the second deck taking in the marvelous views. The 3rd deck is for indulgent resting on a double hammock or a game of ball toss.
The open living room/dining/kitchen are well appointed for your comfort while you enjoy your time together. There are 2 king bed bedroom suites at opposite ends of the apartment, which allow maximum privacy. All this, and you could walk to downtown, and only minutes drive to Biltmore Estates. There is ample, free, off street parking for 2 cars. Just a note; it is my pleasure to meet you when you arrive for check in and make certain if there is anything you might need, and please understand you can call upon me at any time during your stay if you wish. Otherwise, you are in the above described, very private space, undisturbed.

Just like home

Great location, immaculate condition, fabulous view, had every accessory we would need and all the supplies. Our host was very accessible and extremely helpful with any and every request. We stayed for an entire month and would do it all over again. LOVE Asheville!

Great property and location

The accommodations and location were excellent. Easy to access Asheville and surrounding areas. Host had warm cookies waiting for us and checked in after us getting in to make sure everything was acceptable. Very nice views of the city and sunsets. We would highly recommend!

A great stay!

This was a great location for our quick trip to Asheville over spring break. It was a short 1/2 mile walk to downtown in one direction, and one of our favorite restaurants in another. The view of the city from our porch was fantastic, and Suzy was a wonderful host.

Exceptional accommodations

Great location close to town with a beautiful view. Floor plan great for singles, 2 couples or a family of 4. Stylishly decorated throughout including the deck. Host very welcoming. Enjoyed everything about our stay. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Wonderful property! Most accommodating host!

This property was perfect for myself and another couple, especially with the layout of the bedrooms at opposite ends. We enjoyed watching the sun set over the city from the deck. The host/owner was so gracious and she aimed to meet our every need. I highly recommend this place, and I would stay again if I'm ever back in the area.

Fun get away

Property had great location and view. In the city but had bears on the driveway and on the hill across the street. Luckily, they were pretty chill. Liked the outdoor patio area. Loved getting warm cookies at check in. Overall, very pleasant stay

Fantastic Rental

Perfect Getaway!

City Lights was a perfect getaway for my husband and me. My sister and brother-in-law joined us for a few days. The property is close to so much, yet it is far enough away that you are not in the hustle and bustle of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed the decks and the mountain views. The hosts could not be nicer and more accommodating. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed.

Lovely Getaway

Beautiful 2BR/2BA apartment with cozy king-sized beds in a quiet neighborhood. Gorgeous outdoor space with two decks and blooming trees/flowers, a great view of Asheville, and lots of natural light in the bedrooms. Easy walk to coffee shops and a very short drive to downtown. Owner was very kind. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect rental

Wonder fall girls getaway!

The property exceeded all of our expectations! The location was central to everything. Check in and check out was simple. The layout was perfect for the 4 of us. The two bedrooms were separated with great bathrooms for each bedroom. The view and outdoor space was perfect! We were surprised with warm cookies waiting for us upon our arrival. I would highly recommend this property!!

A much needed respite

City Lights was the perfect property to get away during Covid, or any time. The apartment is meticulously maintained and has all the amenities of home. From the welcoming homemade chocolate chip cookies to the hand sanitizers and masks to the beautiful deck overlooking the city of Ashville. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway and ability to get back to nature, yet have all the comforts of home.

Very comfortable and convenient stay!

This was a very comfortable place to stay that was clean, modern, and had all of the necessary amenities! The view and convenience of the location were excellent and the unit was very spacious. The hosts were great at communicating and warmly welcomed us. Of note, this apartment is in the lower level (basement?) of the owners' house. We felt that we had adequate privacy, but visitors who may want to sit outside late into the night talking etc should be aware of this set up.

Awesome Home, Wonderful Host

My friend and I absolutely loved this home and our stay. We are both in the vacation home rental industry and this home surpassed our expectations. The host, Suzy, has gone over and beyond with tasteful and comfortable furniture and bedding, amenities and supplies. The home was immaculate and exceedingly organized, and sits in a lovingly tended garden setting with wonderful views of downtown Ashville and great sunsets from the front porch seating area. We were only 5 minutes or so (driving) from downtown where there are numerous dining, shopping and cultural opportunities. Thank you again Suzy for your helpfulness and for the cookies ,we had a well deserved relaxing and fun stay.

City Lights

City lights really made our stay in Asheville. Location is just above downtown. Close to downtown and also easy to get to Blue Ridge Parkway. Suzy the owner was beyond helpful. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Amazing set up with kitchen and living room in the middle. Bedrooms and private bathrooms on both sides. Very clean and comfortable. Suzy also provided us with homemade cookies upon our arrival. I would recommend this rental and will be visiting again.

Girl's Trip

My 3 friends and I spent an amazing weekend at Suzy's property, and it was wonderful. Location wise you are essentially a 3 minute drive from downtown. The view from the porch was beautiful - trees, mountains and city views all in one. I was a little delayed on my travel day, but Suzy was kind enough to come down and chat with my girlfriends when they arrived and bring homemade cookies. After that we didn't see or hear our hosts, they gave us plenty of privacy. The setup is also great with 2 bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment so you don't feel like you are on top of the people you're traveling with. Very clean and overall just a fantastic place to stay.

The kitchen is well equipped for any type of meal preparation. Very clean. The space was very comfortable, beautiful view. I was not there during ski season so I can’t speak to that but the owners are so friendly and welcoming.

We find that one very important reason people come to Asheville is for it's wonderful scenery. This property provides that. In addition, it is close enough to walk to downtown. Then visitors want a comfortable environment. We have done our very best to give both, and more.

You will find this to be a comfortable, modern home. There are 2 decks for many hours of relaxing and enjoy the beauty of our mountains and downtown. The living area is open and well appointed with hardwood floors and comfortable furnishings. You will find two relaxing master suites with king beds, down comforters and down pillows, and private baths, one on each side of the living space allowing complete privacy.
