Family friendly villa only 5 minutes walk to the Cap d'Agde beach (Richelieu)

Villa Capucine is a beautiful villa with 3 Bedrooms (T4) and 2 bathrooms villa located on 11 Rue des Corsaires in the Richelieu area of Cap d'Agde. It is an entire house on two floors.
The villa has 3 proper bedrooms: Two bedrooms upstairs: one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. A third bedroom with a double bed is on the ground floor with an ensuite bathroom. There is a little step down into the downstairs bedroom and ensuite.
All of the bedrooms have proper beds.
The villa is less than 200 metres to Plage Richelieu Centre. There is a private secluded terrace fully enclosed with a fence, wall and locking gate. The residence is secure with a remote control gate.
It is a stunning villa in an idyllic location.

The villa is extremely well equipped and furnished throughout. Many compliments and repeat bookings from previous guests. This villa is a rare find in Cap d'Agde.


Contents of villa: There is a washing machine, dishwasher, tall fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, full size cooker with gas rings and electric oven and grill. A plentiful supply of crockery, cooking utensils, cutlery and glassware.

The villa is very nicely furnished with furniture of the highest quality.

Portable air conditioning unit and fans (New unit and fans for Summer 2017)

Electric heating and Fuel heater for out-of-season times.

All beds are normal beds. No folding beds in this villa. Sheets and towels will be left in the villa for guests arriving and are included in the price.

End of stay cleaning, and WIFI is included in the price.

Taxe de sejour (Tourist Tax) is extra. It is 1.65€ per person per night. It is collected by Abritel/Homeaway in February.

Outdoor table and chairs and barbecue.
Very well located near all amenities. Shops such as a bakery, spar supermarket, butchers, newsagent and cash point can be found within 5 minutes walk.
The beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the villa.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor with a beautiful iron frame double bed with matching beside tables and a good sized wardrobe and an en suite bathroom.

Bedroom 2 is located upstairs and has one double bed, beside tables and matching dressing table and wardrobe.

Bedroom 3 is located upstairs and consists of 2 single beds and a dressing table and beside table and wardrobe.

Sleeps up to 6 people very comfortably.

Bathrooms: There is one bathroom (en suite) attached to bedroom 1 on the ground floor with shower unit, wash basin and toilet

There is a second bathroom upstairs with shower unit, wash basin unit and toilet.

Nice neighboorhood

Good stay. But for those hot days difficult to sleep without airco, fan is not working really. Missing in the whole house mats to clean feets before go to bed. The door in the downstairs room from the toilet is not closing without locking the door. On the last day there was no hot water. Also the communication with the home owners was not fast enough, sometimes I had to wait for several hours for an reaction. But overall the stay was nice. Nice location.

Good value for a small family

The villa is ideally located, only 5-6 minutes walk down a pedestrian pathway to the broad sandy beach and a small shopping area with an excellent boulangerie, well-stocked minimarket, and a shop offering newspapers (only French) and beach items. In this area, there are also several small restaurant/cafes.and an ice cream parlour. At the villa, there is a pleasant patio with retractable awning, important because it is, gloriously, in the sun most of the day. There are loungers for subathers, The villa has three bedrooms, two light and airy upstairs -- one with a double bed and the other with two singles. There is also an excellent shower and a toilet. The downstairs bedroom, off the main room/kitchenette, has a comfortable double bed with a pleasant adjoining shower room/toilet. We were a little fazed by the fact that, unlike the upstairs rooms, the only natural light in this bedroom comes from a small skylight in the ceiling. But then one does not spend much time in the bedroom during the day! There is an excellent fan for ventilation. A slightly strange feature is that the villa's very efficient washing machine is against the wall in the lower bedroom, but on a summer holiday this is no inconvenience. In the kitchen/sitting area there is a good fridge and an excellent small dishwasher, as well as an oven and a wall-mounted television, which functioned perfectly throughout our stay. All in all, a very good quality/price balance for a 5-6 family group.

Ein richtig schöner Familienurlaub

Wit waren schön hĂ€ufiger in Cap d'Agde in verschiedenen Hotels und Ferienanlagen. Dieses mal waren wir zum ersten mal in dieser Villa. Sie war perfekt fĂŒr eine Familie mit Teenager und Kleinkind, da es zwei BĂ€der, 3 Schlafzimmer und eine eingezĂ€unte Terrasse gibt. In Cap d'Agde ist es immer mal wieder lait, da es ein Touristenort ist - das ist völlig ok, man weiß es ja und es war in den Hotels genauso zu hören. Der Strand ist wunderschön, der Weg zum Strand und einem Supermarkt ist kurz. Es gibt sehr nah Bushaltestellen Richtung Agde Bahnhof und Hafen. Zum Hafen kann man aber auch laufen abends und dort lecker essen gehen. Wir haben nie gekocht im Haus, daher kann ich zur KĂŒche nicht so viel sagen. Aber fĂŒr das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war sie meht als ausreichend eingerichtet mit Tellern, Tassen, Besteck, SpĂŒlmaschine.... StechmĂŒcken hat es im FrĂŒhling leider viele, man muss individuell schauen, wie man damit zurecktkommt. Wir haben die FensterlĂ€den geschossen gehalten. So kam kĂŒhle Luft hinein, aber kaum MĂŒcken. Die meisten Stiche habe ich vom draußen Spazieren. Das einzige was etwas negativ war, waren Ameisen. Irgendwo haben sie einen Weg ins Haus gefunden - das kommt im SĂŒden ja manchmal leider vor... wir wollten wegen unserem Kleinkind kein Gift verteilen. Es ist auch etwas stressig gewesen bis 10 Uhr all unsere BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher gewaschen zu haben. Wir haben es gerade so geschafft. Ein Checkout bis 11 Uhr wĂ€re fĂŒr Familien hilfreich. Vielen Dank fĂŒr den schönen Urlaub!

Im großen und ganzen alles in guter Ordnung

Wir haben uns mit unserem Enkel (6J.) sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und Strand und Meer reichlich genossen. Der Weg zum Strand ist recht kurz, die Umgebung sehr reizvoll. Auch im Haus war soweit alles in Ordnung. Ein paar MĂ€ngel haben wir den Vermietern separat mitgeteilt. Auf jeden Fall können wir das Haus empfehlen und wĂŒrden es auch wieder anmieten.

Aucun accueil, uniquement des codes d'accÚs pour tout. Photos sur le site anciennes car tout le mobilier est vieillot, de plus cafetiÚre + barbecue + grille pain inutilisables car trÚs sales. Matelas des lits trÚs mous, bonjour le mal de dos ! Chambres à l'étage trÚs petites, etouffantes dont une chambre au rdc dans l ancien garage, on a l impression de dormir sur le parking, comme si on y était !Environnement bruyant à cÎté du rond point, trÚs grande proximité avec les voisins, trÚs peu d intimité. Salon de jardin vétuste egalement....bref un séjour bien décevant !

Von der Beschreibung her schien alles perfekt- nah zum Strand, 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 BĂ€der, Klimaanlage. Bei unserer Ankunft war das erste Problem, das der Code fĂŒr den Zugang zur Anlage nicht stimmte, den haben wir dann von einem französischen Nachbarn erfahren....Die EigentĂŒmer waren zwar stets erreichbar, aber wussten den Code auch nicht. Die Klimaanlage entpuppte sich dann als kleines mobiles GerĂ€t, dass noch nicht mal das Wohnzimmer genug kĂŒhlte, geschweigedenn die SchlafrĂ€ume.... Es gab keine MĂŒckengitter, aber viele MĂŒcken. Das Appartment war nur grob gereinigt, Geschirr war zum Teil verschmutzt in den SchrĂ€nken. Der GeschirrspĂŒler war auch nicht mehr so richtig klasse. Wir mussten also auc nachs die Fenster geögfnet halten, auch wenn das bei 28 Grad in der Nacht nicht wirklich erfrischte und die Straße war extrem laut, da es sich bei Cap dÀgde um einen Partyort handelt. Die NĂ€he zum Strand war prima, allerdings wog das die anderen Unannehmlichkeiten nicht wirklich auf. Ich vermute, dass die EigentĂŒmer selbst schon lĂ€nger nicht mehr da waren, sonst hĂ€tten sie sicher etwas verbessert- die Markise war geflickt, der Grill nicht nutzbar. Schade- wir können dieses Appartment leider nicht empfehlen.

Location bien située

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour agrĂ©able. La maison est rustique mais fonctionnelle, nous avons du faire un peu de mĂ©nage en arrivant notamment dans les sanitaires mais rien de mĂ©chant. Attention toutefois pour les parents avec de jeunes enfants, il n'y a pas de barriĂšre en bas ni en haut de l'escalier assez raide et pas de garde fou au niveau des fenĂȘtres de l'Ă©tage dont l'ouverture est au niveau des lits, un accident est donc possible si on relĂąche son attention, Ă  prendre en compte lors de la rĂ©servation pour des parents de jeunes enfants. Merci pour ce sĂ©jour globalement agrĂ©able, Ă  2 pas de la mer, la plage richelieu en basse saison Ă©tait vraiment trĂšs apprĂ©ciable et nous nous sommes rĂ©galĂ©s !

Bonnes vacances

La maison est bien adaptĂ©e pour les vacances. L'emplacement est trĂšs avantageux. A moins de cinq minutes Ă  pied de la plage, ce n'est donc pas un problĂšme que la rĂ©sidence ne dispose pas de piscine. Il y a aussi des restaurants avec plats Ă  emporter, une boulangerie et plusieurs petits commerces. Également Ă  seulement dix minutes Ă  pied d'Aqualand, vingt minutes de la Grand Roue au port du Cap d'Agde. Vous pouvez prendre un verre au port le soir et revenir confortablement Ă  pied. ArrĂȘt de bus Ă  50 mĂštres de la rĂ©sidence. On peut aussi s'asseoir en terrasse le soir pendant le Mistral car la maison forme un brise-vent au nord-ouest. Des plats suffisants sont disponibles. Le parking appartenant Ă  la maison est bien adaptĂ© pour les gros vĂ©hicules car il n'y a pas de voiture sur la gauche. Il est situĂ© juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de l'entrĂ©e afin que les achats n'aient pas Ă  ĂȘtre portĂ©s loin. Nous avons eu une trĂšs bonne communication avec les propriĂ©taires. En guise de bienvenue, ils nous ont offert des glaces et du vin. TrĂšs sympathique.

Netter Platz

Sehr nettes Objekt. Liegt sehr Strandnah und Restaurants wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch direkt vor Ort. Unterkunft selbst könnte man etwas renovieren und wieder besser in Schuss bringen. Uns hat es nicht gestört da wir nur hier geschlafen gefrĂŒhstuckt haben und den rest der Zeit am Meer oder in einer der schönen kleinen Dörfer in der Umgebung verbracht haben. Einziger Störfaktor war der LĂ€rm vor allem die erste Woche der von vielen jugendlichen durch Feiren verursacht wurde.

MAISON BIEN SITUEE

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine. Malgré les ventilateurs et le grille-pain qui ne fonctionnaient pas, et le sÚche linge annoncé qui n'est en réalité que des fils d'étendage. La maison est trÚs bien située, nous avons pu laisser la voiture sur le parking fermé et nous avons tout fait à pied, plage ballades courses. La maison et la petite cour étaient trÚs agréables.

Appart sale...pas digne d.etre loué dans cet etat

Terrasse sale vaisselle toute Ă  relaver.une poĂȘle immonde. Toilettes trĂšs sales. Bac Ă  douche vert de gris..on a du faire le mĂ©nage en arrivant. Alors que le prix de la location comprend ce prix.la table de salon de jardin tachee et difforme ..nous sommes tres trĂšs déçu...par rapport au prix de cette location. Odeur de tabac ds la maison. Bruyant route passante juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ©..

logement idéal pour profiter de la mer

Logement proche de la mer, des animations, des commerces et des restaurants (on peut se passer de la voiture; place de parking réservée). Pratique pour un couple et grands enfants; chambre au rdch avec w et salle de bains pour les parents, chambres (2) et salle de bains avec wc à l'étage pour les enfants. Belle cours avec mobilier de jardin (au soleil le matin). Draps et serviettes fournis. Equipement complet.

Villa trÚs agréable, proche de tout.

Villa trÚs bien située, calme et bien équipée . Idéale en famille avec enfants, trÚs proche de la mer (250 mÚtre). Cuisine bien équipée en vaisselle, il y a tout pour cuisiner le lave-vaisselle est un vrai plus pour les vacanciers. La literie est en trÚs bon état, plusieurs couettes et couverture parfaite pour les sejours fin octobre. Je recommande cette location, et nous y reviendrons certainement.

We live in Northern Ireland and have been renting properties in Cap d'Agde since 2001. We manage the properties ourselves aided by our loyal cleaners who we have had for many years. We are in Cap d'Agde very often and personally check our properties to ensure that they are kept to the highest standard. We have many repeat bookings year after year. Our guests are very complimentary about our properties. Many guests describe our properties as a 'Home from Home'. The properties are extremely well equipped with everything we would expect if we were guests!
We are not agents and we personally manage all the bookings ourselves. You will dealing directly with the owners which is an added advantage.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property at the beginning of the year 2000 because after coming to Le Cap d'Agde on holiday a few times, we decided this was the place to buy a property. We viewed many properties before finding the right one. We decided on this property because it was very private and quiet, car parking was directly outside the villa, and the location was ideal and it had everything we were looking for. It was located in a residence with a secure remote control gate. It was convenient to all amenities and we could see the potential of making it into a very nice property.
We stayed in this house regularly for over 10 years before deciding to move to another house. We did not want to part with the house because we are so sentimental about it. So we kept it and are now renting it out to guests. We are delighted when we hear the compliments about the house from our guests. We are so happy that other people love our house too!

What makes this property unique

The villa is ideally situated within 250m to the beach (Plage Richelieu) and near all amenities. Villa Capucine has a very well equipped kitchen and nicely furnished throughout. The villa is an entire house on two floors with private enclosed terrace.
The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the villa (Plage Richelieu). Shops and restaurants are also only 5 minutes walk from the villa. There is everything guests need within minutes from the villa. This property is very popular with our guests, many of whom return year after year. It is so rare in Cap d'Agde to find a villa with 3 proper bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is ideal for 6 people. There is both English sky TV and French TV. There is wifi in the villa which is included in the price.The terrace is entirely private and car parking is directly beside the villa.
