This amazing luxury 3 bedroom apartment is located in the idillic Spanish fishing village of Gran Tarajal, just 25 minutes South of the island, from the airport.. The apartment comprises of 3 bedrooms with an infants cot + high chair,which are available FREE of charge if required.The large modern living & dining area is fitted with air-conditioning.
The apartment as a 45m sq private sun soaked terrace, which includes front line breathtaking sea & mountain views.The 25m swimming pool can also be viewed from the terrace.
The fully equipped modern kitchen includes cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Leading off the kitchen is a utility area & washing machine.Nespresso coffee machine is provided in the kitchen,for all those coffee lovers!
This uniquely located apartment offers lazy days by the pool,gym facility or strolls into the harbour or nearby town with its promenade & unspoilt sandy beach!
The promenade offers a good choice of restaurants of which are all very reasonably priced & to a high standard of food!And for fish lovers the daily catch is highly recommended.


Location: Vista Mar 5J located in Gran Tarajal,overlooking the harbour which takes pride in hosting the Fuerteventura. Gran Tarajal Open de Pesca de Altura. Open Deep Sea Fishing Championship. This takes place in early September and is renowned for its big catches of Marlin,there is a typical Spanish fiesta(party) at the end of the championship which takes place just 2 minutes walk from the apartment,lots of fun!!
Gran Tarajal's location means that it is a good base, it as all amenities to hand and is just a 20 minute drive to the famous white sandy beaches of the south, zoo and water sport regions!

Complex amenities: The complex as a fully equipped gym with changing & shower room facilities adjacent to it.Vista Mar also offers a 25m swimming pool with a separate children's pool. The pool area is equipped with comfortable modern sun loungers & parasols for shade. All this is exclusive for guests & owners only!
Vista Mar 5J is one of very few that includes its own private parking space, directly behind the apartment, this means no walking up or down stairs with heavy shopping or beach bags:-)

Local attractions & activities: For anyone who is partial for a round of golf,Las Playitas is just 5 minutes from the apartment and is set in a idyllic ocean view location.Also very popular on the island is the sport of kite & wind surfing,located just 20 minutes South is the famous beach of Sotavento,lessons are available here at the Rene Egli Centre.

I’ve stayed at this apartment before and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. Leslie the owner has spent a lot of time and effort in updating it. A real home from home. Both my partner and I had a lovey stay and would have no hesitation in coming back again.

Apartment just as advertised being spacious with a huge south facing balcony with fantastic views down the coast to the lighthouse on Jandia beach. Well equipped even including body board and parasols for beach! Only 10 - 15 minutes scenic walk in to town via marina and harbour. Excellent restaurants along sea front. Although Gran Tarajal is not a resort town English menus available everywhere we ate and English spoken by most staff. Host Leslie was very helpful and replied to any questions immediately. We will certainly return when we can as we had a great time here on our first visit to Fuerteventura!

Lovely apartment

Had a lovely stay, everything was as described. We had a swim must days and the pool was great. A lovely town a some good restaurants for dinner. We shall visit here again!

Excellent location and apartment stay over Christmas 2021

We have enjoyed staying Ginginamar Gran Tarajal for several years and two years ago located these apartments. Decided to book apartment for two weeks over Christmas 2021. Parking and Checkin straightforward with good instructions from owner. Amazed at size and quality when we checked in. Large rooms and large terrace well furnished overlooking sea with sun all day. Excellent Christmas relaxing and strolling into Gran Tarajal.

Spacious and unspoilt views

Lovely spotless apartment in a immaculate complex. The views from the large terrace are great and the apartment has everything you could possibly need, even a gas bbq on terrace. Car parking is not for the feint hearted, but you do get used to it.

Parking in the garage can be little tricky at first, however well worth taking your time and using it as the parking space to 5J is just a few feet from the front door of the apartment, ideal when you arrive with luggage and also when you have been to the local supermarket. Wonderful Time

Reservation was handled very efficiently. Excellent instructions on how to get to and access unit. Leslie and Tracey responded to my communications quickly and completely and were a pleasure to deal with. Unit was large with beautiful balcony/view and we really enjoyed eating our meals outside. The location was great to do various day trips. Thank you so much for the welcome gift and for a great stay!

Home From Home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Very spacious and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The sun terrace and the views from it are amazing and we got sun usually about 7 hours a day and were sheltered from the wind. This fishing village is very refreshing as it's unspoilt by commercialism and prices are very reasonable for your self catering needs. Would definitely return in the near future. The communication from Leslie and Tracey was very informative and the apartment is a credit to them.

Fabulous apt, but gran tarajal not for us.

Could not fault the apt. It's perfect. From the underground carpark so close to the front door of such a well equipped apt, to the stunning views. It has everything you need. We just wish it was in or near Corralejo. Gran Tarajal was just a bit too quiet for us.

wonderful, peaceful location

Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The apartment was just beautiful very spacious and of a hich spec. There is everything you need for a perfect time away. A large kitchen area with all the utensils. The sunbathing area was huge and we spent most of our days relaxing here and enjoying the view. It is a 10 minute walk in to town where there are two big supermarkets. The days are between hot and warm but the evenings in December are quite cool so take a jacket. We would highly recommend the apartment and contact with the owner is very easy and any problem is dealt with straight away.

Lovely apartment in wonderful town

Had a fantastic week in this apartment. The weather was amazing so we took full advantage of the terrace, eating and sunbathing with the view every bit as good as in the picture. The little gym was a great way to work of the excesses of the day before. Gran Tarajal was a complete surprise. Very authentic with no touristy bits. The list of restaurants was very useful with the ones we went to being brilliant, didn't have a poor meal all week and all very reasonably priced and just a 10 minute walk through the lovely harbour. With 2 young children the beaches were perfect, within half an hour drive on clear roads you could get mile upon mile of golden sand with safe warm water and excellent waves to catch. Overall a great holiday in a lovely clean and well equipped apartment. Thank you

Lovely large sea-view apartment.

A fabulous apartment overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with all the amenities a family would need. The outside patio is large and easily accommodated our family of four, including a two year old. With an adjacent undercover car park space just added to the convenience of the apartment. The position of the apartment is on a hill and at the far end of the town and could be difficult for older people, but we enjoyed the exercise. Gran Tarajal is a Spanish seaside town with a lovely yacht harbour. There are some good restaurants and bars which we found very reasonably priced. The locals were very friendly and English was not spoken has much as we expected, but we managed. To sum up, we loved the apartment, particularly the owners, Lesley and Tracey who were very helpful and informative. We loved the town and it's authentic Spanish feel.

Great stay

Our family of four (children aged 13 & 10) spent a week at this beautiful apartment in Gran Tarajal over New Year. The apartment itself was very spacious, very clean and well furnished, with plenty of room for the four of us. The crowning glory however is the wonderful huge terrace with amazing views of the sea and sunsets. The terrace is well equipped with a dining table, sun loungers and BBQ. The apartment complex itself was immaculate and has a good size pool, and the neighbours we met were very friendly. The parking space for the apartment is so conveniently located, literally within a few steps, which means no lugging cases/shopping up and down stairs. The centre of Gran Tarajal is within walking distance from the complex however we did find the use of a hire car beneficial to explore the island. There are a number of restaurants in town however this is more of a Spanish working town than a resort, which we knew already and enjoyed that aspect of it. We mainly used Eurospar supermarket which has a fantastic range of fresh fish and meat - we BBQ’d nearly every day. We had a great time staying at Leslie and Tracy’s apartment, thank you so much! We would have no hesitation recommending it if you are after a relaxing holiday away from the typical resorts! Liza & family

Briliant apartment for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed at Leslie and Tracey's apartment from 29/08/2015 to 05/09/2015. From start to finish, they made sure everything went smoothly. From finding the apartment to places to eat. The apartment was just as described, quiet and fully equipped with everything you would need. We loved laying on the sun loungers looking over the bay, watching the sun go down. We were just a couple and the apartment was huge, ideal for a family. We enjoyed walking out each evening by the harbour. The town was lovely, good places to have a relaxing meal out. The town has lots of small shops and a couple of supermarkets to buy all the essential's. We had hired a car, so was able to visit the famous beaches of Corralejo national park and Jandia quite easily. We used Top Car AutoReisen which very easy and would recommend. The apartment offered us our own private parking space directly behind. Only a few steps to your door for unloading your suitcases etc. Access is through a radio controlled barrier to the side of the apartment's directly off the road. Die Wohnung war superb, jede Menge Platz und endlich eine Küche mit anständigem Equipment. Der Pool war das Sahnehäubchen, 25 Meter lang und nicht gechlort, trotzdem 1-a-Wasserqualität. Ich war begeistert. Der Vermieter Leslie Mirrington ist zudem ein verlässlicher Rückrufer bei Fragen. Wer es ruhig und nicht so touristisch mag, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Mit dem Auto ist man in 30 bis 90 Minuten auch schnell an belebteren Strandpromenaden wie Morro Jable oder Corrolejo. Ansonsten bietet aber auch Gran Tarajal einen schönen Strand und gute Lokale, wo man lecker essen gehen kann. Wir werden auf jeden Fall mal wiederkommen.

Great stay

Lovely spacious apartment which was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed for a 5 week stay. 10 minute walk into the pretty town centre of Gran Tarajal. Good selection of restaurants along the seafront. Locals very friendly and helpful with most speaking English. The host (Leslie) was there to welcome us when we arrived despite it being quite late at night which was welcome and unexpected . Highly recommended Stephen and Dee

Wohnung und Lage sind super

Internetgeschwindigkeit lässt für 2021 zu wünschen übrig, auch war es zeitweise recht laut wegen der Plattenbauweise.....sonst waren wir zufrieden, Preis Leistung ist gegeben (Nebensaison Dezember)

Bon séjour

Une bonne location dommage que la piscine soit pas chauffée, et le barbecue est en triste état sinon pour le reste tous correspondent au photos de plus bonne communication avec le propriétaire je recommanderais donc cette location
