Its two bedrooms include a king-size and a twin room, there is also a family bathroom, the property is able to sleep four guests. Also inside, discover its open-plan living area which comprises of a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. To the outside it provides plenty of off-road parking and a private patio with furniture. Carpenters Cottage is a homely base from which you can explore the north west of the Lake District as well as the Solway Coast.

The main attraction of the area is the scenery and walking in the northern lakes – Bassenthwaite Lake, Ennerdale Water and Derwent Water are among the finest. Keswick is just 13 miles away and is worth a look.
