Spend your vacation at Saltwater Sanctuary - Our fabulous home is central to an array of Outer Banks attractions, excellent restaurants, shopping, pier fishing and National Parks. Take in all that OBX has to offer and come back to our comfortable home and enjoy your own private saltwater pool !
We have been visiting the OBX for 20 years and are so happy we are able to have a place to call "home" in Nags Head. Our house is located in walking distance to Lucky 12, Surfin' Spoon, Tortuga's, Dowdy Park, Nags Head Fishing Pier which has a great outside bar/restaurant, Morning View and Front Porch coffee shops...... tour Jockey's Ridge and see a great sunset right across the highway from us! Austins Fish Market is a few minute drive, grab some fresh seafood for dinner to cook on the grill and dine poolside or on the picnic table. We are close to the bridge to Manteo - don't miss this gem of a town! Be sure to stop at the Tiki Bar at Blue Water grill and take in the marina - great boutique shops, Lost Colony Brewery for great beer and Ortegaz's for yummy Mexican food and margaritas, Kill Devil Rum tour and tasting, Elizabethan Gardens and the TO DO see the Lost Colony play. Oregon Inlet is a great place to watch the catch come in later afternoons and grab food or drinks at the new Sea Chef restaurant - some monster fish, don't miss it, only a short drive from the house....MP 11.5 is convenient to so many places it's hard to list them all - AND, don't forget the beach - a five minute walk to Bladen Street access or Bainbridge Street access, both offer parking if you'd prefer to drive the two minutes.
Don't feel like walking? We supply TWO adult bikes as well (helmets not provided).
Our shed is stocked with beach chairs, coolers and corn hole - less to pack !
Built in 2010, Saltwater Sanctuary has been beautifully maintained, it shows like a new home. The lower level has a rec room with couch, large flat screen TV with Netflix, full size frig for all your overflow goodies, full bathroom complete with granite countertops and access to the fenced pool area. Our upper level features an open concept living area and kitchen, pantry, washer and dryer, master bedroom with King bed and beautiful attached bath, make-up chair and granite counters and two additional large bedrooms (one queen, one king) that share a full bath.
Outside, in addition to the pool area, the front porch offers a shaded seating area as well as a spot in the sun with bar height chairs and a pub table. Underneath the house, enjoy the shade in our comfortable swing hammock chairs.....
We provide bed linens and towel sets but you will need to bring your own beach towels.

The place was very clean and exactly as the pictures show. The host was great. Checked on us at check in and when we were checking out. The pool and hot tub were a great addition to our vacation. Very close to the beach. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay. The host checked in to make sure we got in ok, the house was clean and spacious, and we loved how close to the ocean we were. The outdoor shower was a favorite of ours. Highly recommend staying here!

If you are looking for a house in Nags Head, this is your house. This house had everything and anything we needed. It was the little things that really impressed us. Kitchen accessories, outdoor speaker, dishwashing pods, dishrag and dish towel, bikes, beach chairs, cooler, beach carts and even under water bags for taking pics in the water! We loved the layout, new kitchen and outdoor area. The location is also amazing, so close to everything. The host was very helpful and quick to respond also. You won’t regret making this booking!!

We had the most amazing stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and had so many thoughtful amenities—you can truly tell how much time, effort, and care the owners have put into making it the perfect sanctuary in the Outer Banks.We came with our 2 and 5 year old and they had the best time! There was so much for them to enjoy, and the pool was definitely a favorite. They had an absolute blast, which made the trip even more special for us.Dani was incredible from start to finish. She answered all of my questions, checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay, gave us great recommendations, and even accommodated us when we decided we weren’t ready to leave and wanted to stay an extra night!Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or a better host. Highly recommend!

Great stay

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and well-maintained. It's in a great location, just a short bike ride to the beach—we rode the provided bikes several days and really enjoyed it. The home is also very well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Highly recommend!

Excellent house for fun and relaxation

The Saltwater Sanctuary is a lovely, well-appointed and very clean house just a 5 minute walk from the beach and near so many attractions and restaurants in the area. The proprietress made everything very easy and convenient from check-in to departure. We had a great time, and my family and I loved our stay there.

OBX great get away!

My family stayed at this property for the 4th of July this year and had an amazing time! Best property we have stayed at ever! So much was included with the house; pool, beach gear, stocked kitchen for cooking (minus the food), games, and a great location for everything!! My kids loved being able to walk to the beach and we all loved the fireworks at the beach. And the host was very easy to connect with! Highly recommend staying here!!

Wonderful Family Beach Stay!!`

The house was absolutely perfect for our family and exactly as described. Everything was clean and neat and adorably decorated for the beach. With the toddlers, the pool was amazing and convenient but were also able to walk to the beach easily. Highly recommend!

Very nice beach house!! Well appointed. Many extra amenities that are often overlooked at other rentals. Home owner was quick to respond to any communication. Would highly recommend if visiting Nags Head!

This was our first time to the OBX area and this property and area were excellent. Beautiful property with a nice little pool in a nice area that is close to restaurants, shops and other activities. We highly recommend.
