We had a brilliant holiday in Old Gordon House. Had a few minor problems when we arrived but these were sorted out within hours - really good service. Probably our only real gripe was not really having somewhere to sit outside. There is a photo of a ‘patio’ with furniture but that is where the car was parked and it wasn’t really suitable, so a little misleading. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this homely house in Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has much to offer.
Aldeburgh itself is a lovely busy seaside town . Lots of the shops are dog friendly.
Only downside is you join the other tourists who are mostly rude and entitled and would push in front of you for their Latte . This happened everywhere we went . The locals are nice it’s just the holiday makers . Beautiful part of the country though and house to beach proximity is excellent.
