Gorgeous

Omg this place is so stunning. We loved it so much. Beautiful remodel, and the decorations made it feel like you've stepped back in time. The owners brought us treats upon arrival. Clean and a nice location for seeing the sights of ruins in the area. Would definitely recommend it ❤️

Amazing Stone Villa the name says it all

Yiannis and Mary your beautiful traditional house is a testiment to the love and care you have put into its restoration and refurbishment. Nothing has been missed and there is everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable holiday. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality we very much enjoyed our time in your company and we particularly loved Mary's cheese pies you are excellent hosts. The photographs do not do justice to this beautiful property.

Schöne Wohnung...

Die Eigentümer Yiannis und Mary sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Für Menschen die das Landleben und Dorfidylle mögen ist es genau dass richtige.Einzig die Videokamera im Hof und der Bewegungsmelder in der Wohnung (vermutlich Einbruchmeldeanlage) haben mich etwas gestört, aber dies sind nur meine persönlichen Empfindlichkeiten ;-)... Ansonsten war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit und wir kommen gerne mal wieder. Beste Grüße Christian

Dear Christian Thanks for your review..Just to inform you that the whole security system including video cameras and motion detection are only activated on winter time when the property is closed just for safety and anti theft reasons.. Nothing is monitored due the whole summer season when quests are stay... Of cource you are very welcomed here if you decide to visit us again..Hope to see you too.Take care

Seven days, seven nights! Yiannis and Mary are very nice hospitable typical Greeks. The house has everything you need. To relax. Ideal. Far from tourism. Shopping and eating, only accessible by car! Many smaller villages around. Beaches are nearby, umbrella not!The house a good mix of old and new. The bed 100 years old very narrow. Too narrow for us, Alternative sofa in the living / kitchen area. We come back! Promised !!!

The house offer everything you need for comfortable leaving and the vintage and traditional decoration is the most benefits from the house . This is also including the very old and antique bronze bed that we prefer to renovated as it was since 100 years old just to give the feelings and memories from the past ages ,instead a new wide modern bed that will not fit in the house dacoration. I am sure that the bed should be such a problem if you want to visit us again in future.Your are very welcome anyway. Thanks

Here you will meet ,The cretan tradition, the quality of life of local people and generally the food with the pure olive oil produced by the region, the honey, the sea salt, the herbs,the nature, the calm, the climate, and the wonderful cretan sun into the active landscape of the area promises relaxing holidays in real Crete.

From the house begins an amazing wild beauty journey between the imposing Asterousia mountains ending at the beach of Trypiti. The car journeyto the beach is about 30 minutes through a dirt road, and is unique landscapes , with beautiful churches (Agia Paraskevi, Agios Savvas and Panagia Trypiti built in a cave), as well as the imposing gorge of Tripiti that ends up on a wonderful beach with very nice pebbles and blue waters Here you can eat traditional Cretan dishes and enjoy your swim in the crystal blue waters.

The whole house is just restored and we try to give the same character and style as it was since 1920.
All the rooms and all the areas has an vintage style , such old restored furnitures , the Grannys beds are made by brass and are 100 years old , the whole decoration of the house has is vintage and retro style and anywhere you see a harmony with stone and wood everywhere.
The retro lighting in every room ,the fireplace , everything reminds to everybody past years and memories...
