Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service ----there is weekly maid service with change of sheets and towels – and apt cleaning as charged --. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle,. Please discuss with housekeeper for times of garbage disposal collection ELECTRICAL USE --- a deposit of 25$ is charged against initial electricity use (the meter will be read at beginning of guest rental and at the end charged or refunded at 35cents per KWH– ) for long term rentals meter will be read every two weeks and settled at that time ---- electricity is expensive in Merida please turn off AC,s when not needed and if guests are going out of the Casita . [Water and Septic: The /property] is on a well and septic systems. The mineral content in the water is high. During a drought, the well water may have an odor. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.
