Amazing Canal View - rent Venice Apartment

This modern and brand new apartment is located in the heart of Venice, Dorsoduro district, near Campo Santa Margherita one of the most favorite squares from Venetian people.
Have been recently restored.
Easily reachable from the train station, the bus station, the airport and the maritime station.
The apartment has two bedrooms, one double bed, one double bed and two single beds, two bathrooms, one bathroom and one bath spacious sunny living room. The house offers all the services you expect and the kitchen is very well-equipped.
Windows overlooking two lovely canals offer a breathtaking typical Venetian glimpse.

In the surroundings there are restaurants, bars, supermarkets and a daily market with flowers, vegetables and fish. Venues for tourists, the zone feels to be from the shops and other touristic areas of Venice.

Dorso Duro is a very Venetian area and at the same time full of art and nice places: bars and taverns for aperitifs, restaurants for dinner. Just behind the house there is one of the most famous shops in Venice: Tonolo.
The apartment is close to the train station (S. Lucia) and the bus station (Piazzale Roma), where you can find car hire agencies and parkings. Ask to the owner for the best place to drop off your car. You can reach the apartment by foot or by waterbus: the nearest vaporetto (ACTV public service water transport) TOMA '.

Amazing views

We loved staying in this apartment. It had amazing canal views out of the living room and a bedroom! We loved watching the boats go by. The hosts were responsive and the place was clean and comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

Wonderful apartment in a perfect location

We had a wonderful short stay here recently that I wish could have been longer. The apartment was perfect for three of us. The neighborhood was quiet and close to some great bakeries! If I ever have the chance to visit Venice again I hope that I can stay here.

Loved it!

Nice large space, great location. Hosts were super responsive and helpful. Water seemed to spray or leak out of the tub, but this seems like a normal thing for showers in Italy, and the bathroom was so big! FYI, there's no lift and you have to go up maybe 20 stairs, but it was no problem for us. We loved it here! Grazie!

Fantastic spot in the heart of Venice

Excellent location in Venice, central to everything. Well stocked kitchen if you want to eat at home. Nice master bedroom and the second bedroom was great for our two adult sons. Having two bathrooms was ver handy for a family of four. I would highly recommend Aglaia’s apartment!

Perfect apartment for a couple with two children

Staying at Aglaia’s apartment worked out well for our family of 4. Irene met us on arrival and was very helpful. Aglaia gave us lots of useful information too. The apartment is, as mentioned in most reviews, nicely located, close to shops & good restaurants but yet away from the hussle & bussle of the touristic areas.

Was in a great location, clean, spacious, nicely decorated. The AC worked well. Our only complaints are that the mattress was too firm and uncomfortable, and we had to pay a €60 'cleaning fee' for a 3 night stay. When you stay in a hotel, you dont pay extra for cleaning

Dear Sean, mine is an apartment, as you wrote in your review, and not a hotel. In apartments, cleaning is usually charged per stay. Whether you stay three days or a week, the amount is the same. In hotels it works differently. However, in addition to being written in the additional house rules, at the time of booking I immediately sent you a message, as I do to all my guests, with the additional costs written, namely cleaning and the tourist tax. So I don't understand why you accepted the house rules, didn't say anything once you read my message, but you wrote it in the review as something you didn't like.

Convenient and comfortable

People passing over the bridge were fun to watch and boats were busy on the canal. San Pantalon was open and peaceful. The students gathered on the other side of the bridge for conversation and songs. Great to be in Venice and be in their community

Fantastic Apartment

We had an amazing stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, is modern, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We loved having a beautiful view over the canals and there was always something to watch out of the window, although it was still very quiet at night so we weren't disturbed at all. Check in was very smooth and it was nice to have someone meet us, show us into the apartment and tell us a bit about the area, where the shops were etc. The location is great, it's not touristy but it's still within easy walking distance of the tourist sites.

I brought my two twenty something daughters and my sister to Venice and stayed at this property. We had the very best time. The location was perfect: out our door numerous restaurants, pharmacie and grocery store. Our hostess helped us arrange a cooking session, which was fabulous. Be ready to walk... Venice was just magical.

Not as described lots of steps to climb not the photos of the property it’s photos out of the window

We stayed at this property because of the washer and dryer we had spent 10 days in Italy. We were going on a cry out of Venice so we need to laundry some of our cloths. The washer and dryer were deactivated so we coolant use them. 😢😢

Dear, I think you're referring to another apartment in the review, and not to mine! I wrote to you during the stay, to check if it was all right, and you didn't tell me nothing, really you didn’t answered to me at all! Also my washing machine was working, then in the description it is written that the apartment is on the second floor, and it is a normal second floor. Finally the photos were taken from inside the apartment, as the related captions say, other pictures were made externally, to show the building. So I don't understand what your review is referring to..

Wonderful stay in Venice

We had a wonderful time in Venice and cannot say enough about the authenticity and comfort that Villa Aglaia provided during our stay. The location was perfect, as one of the best piazzas in the city was just over the foot bridge from the villa. Reserving a private water taxi from the airport is highly recommended upon arrival. This made it very easy to find the villa and meet up with Giulia for easy check in because the taxi driver called her as we made our way to the villa. Giulia was very friendly and helpful as we began our adventure in Venice. Aglaia was very responsive and helpful as we prepared for our trip as well. I would definitely recommend this villa if you are interested in getting a feel for the local vibe that makes Venice such a special place.

Awesome location and spacious apartment

My family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) absolutely loved our stay at Aglaia’s property in Venice! She was really nice to work with in advance of our trip. The check in was easy as Irene met us and showed up the apartment. She was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was even bigger than I expected and in great shape. We all loved the location because it was close to everything, but we were out of the main tourist areas. There is a square right across the street with many restaurants, shops, and bars. We walked from the train station (15 minutes) and after our stay walked 10 mins to catch a cab to the airport. Just wanted to share in case it helps fellow travelers; it was all quite easy. Thanks Aglaia for sharing your wonderful property!
