About this property

Charming and authentic fisherman's house, downtown and near the beach

This authentic fisherman's house in the city center and close to shops, is angled with a dual orientation, it is very bright. It is composed on the ground floor of a fitted kitchen and very well equipped (including a nespresso) and its dining area, on the 1st floor a very bright living room with a single bed for the sleeping of a person, on the 2nd floor, 1 double bedroom with its bathroom open and on the 3rd floor, a room with 2 single beds, to bring or not and a separate toilet. In the basement, totally renovated, there is a second bathroom with shower, sink and separate toilet. A beautiful wooden staircase typical of the fishermen's houses connects the different spaces.
Useless car, everything is done on foot from Trouville / Deauville station. Possibility to park in the street if car depending on availability.

Delightful little property

We had a wonderful time staying in this quaint fisherman’s house. The kitchen was well-appointed and the beds comfortable. The only surprise, which proved to not be too difficult, is that the shower and sink were in one bedroom and the toilet one floor up. The stairs would be hard for older people or toddlers. The property manager was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect!

The particularity of fishermen's houses is since they are quite small and arrange on several levels, the shower and sink and sometimes even the toilets are in the rooms. Which is not our case :)) This is as you said quite surprising the first time. That's why we did as well another shower and toilets downstairs. I hope you have used it as well. Cozy Oceanside Home

Our family of five spent two nights at this unique and fun property. The multilevel home with a central spiral staircase was a fun experience that allowed each family member to sleep on their own “floor”/level. Location could not have been better as we were within a very short walk to restaurants, bakeries and grocery store. Parking was a bit tricky but we managed to find a spot rather close by and left our car there during our entire stay. The only thing that was lacking was a washer and dryer but we found a laundromat within walking distance.

Maison familiale « dans son jus » et plutôt étroite : les genoux douloureux ne lui diront pas merci ! On a regretté le manque de rangements et l’absence d’un canapé confortable. On a apprécié l’accueil et la situation, en plein centre ville.

Das Häuschen ist gut gelegen, nahe Strand, Markt, Velovermietung, Einkauf und Bahnhof. Kein Auto notwendig, alles lässt sich gut zu Fuss erledigen. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Wer Mühe hat mit einer engen, steilen Wendeltreppe sollte sich etwas anderes suchen.

Authentisches Fischerhaus in zentraler Lage

Lage ist sehr nahe zu den Lokalitäten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zum Strand. Kostenfreie Parkplätze in der direkten Nähe. Eine gewisse Fitness ist wg. der vielen Treppen erforderlich. Das ganze hat auf jeden Fall viel Charme.

Nous sommes revenus dans cette charmante maison avec plaisir. Elle est bien située, près des commerces et à 10 mn de la plage. Le contact avec Laurence qui accueille les vacanciers est très agréable. Le seul petit bémol lié en même temps au caractère atypique de la maison, les escaliers un peu escarpés pour de jeunes enfants ou personnes âgées. En conclusion un très bon séjour.

Excellent séjour

De la réservation aux formalités de départ, en passant par l'accueil et évidemment le week-end sur place, tout était vraiment très bien. L'emplacement est idéal, à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la plage, et à proximité immédiate des commerçants de Trouville. Comme précisé dans l'annonce, l'escalier est raide (mais très beau) et mérite l'attention des parents envers leurs enfants en bas âge.
