Villa Coltifredi is a farmhouse in the center of a small hamlet surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods a few steps from Mercatale Val di Pesa, a village in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, a few km from Florence.
The villa is independent, on two levels, consisting of 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms with kitchenette, 4 bathrooms and living room with kitchen. A large park with swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the property.

Idéale pour plusieurs familles

La maison est très grande, tout comme les extérieurs et la piscine. C'est très calme et les animaux de la ferme du propriétaire ont fait le bonheur des plus petits. Le propriétaire est très accueillant, toujours disponible et de bon conseil !

Coltifredo er toppen

Vi var en familie med bedsteforældres, børn og børnebørn, og vi havde alle en fantastisk uge med badning fra morgen til aften i den fantastiske pool. Ture til de spændende byer der er i området, og masser af italiensk is og himmelske pizzaer. Et fantastisk ophold som vi på det varmeste kan anbefale, hvor en meget imødekommende vært -Lorenzo - var meget hjælpsom. Så 👍👍👍👍👍.

Great stay!

We had an amazing 2 weeks holiday in the Coltifredi house. As a group of friends (10 pers) we especially enjoyed the swimming pool (that was larger than our expectation), and the spacious garden consisting of big enough tables to seat us as a group. The villa's interior is not trendy/hip/luxuruous but very cosy; exactly what we were looking for. All bedrooms were equipped with fans and windows able to open and close. Possible improvements: we missed wine glasses and some beds were a little less solid/comfortable. Mosquito's and wasps are residents too. Beautiful location, surrounded by vineyards/olivetrees and on a 10 min. walking distance from the village with a supermarket (mind the closing hours). Be sure to visit the restaurant 'Vinile', great pizza and lovely staff. Lorenzo, the neighbour and host, is very kind and available for assistance. Would definitely recommend this place to other groups.

Unfortunately, the photos are misleading!

The sanitary facilities and the swimming pool were clean, the rest of the house absolutely not. That there is dust in such an environment, where the windows are open, is understandable, but on arrival we had to clean it ourselves. It was clear that nobody had stayed there for a long time. The garden and the terrace were neglected. Absolutely did not look like the pictures. There were no flowers to be seen and the wooden garden furniture was worn out. Luckily there was other furniture. Dog and cat of the owner walked around the house and sometimes they walked in. Dog poo was in the garden. The owner was very friendly, but did not show up the whole week, while his front door was next to the front door of the house. Nevertheless, a wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings and a nice pool. We did draw the owner's attention to the fact that it was very disappointing how the rental looked and that the photos on the site are misleading.
