These people are thieves! They stole my picture frames & decor pieces. My 12 foot porch doors were left open 24-7 exposed to the elements of the weather, as well as leaving indoor furniture outside in rain. They also will rummage through every storage drawer of the house. Make sure to lock things up with these people.

It’s important to note that this particular guest never actually stayed at the property. They cancelled within the hour of check-in due to loft not having air conditioning. This info is fully disclosed on the website. So essentially an error on their part from not reading property details. *Road Conditions = every guest is advised to rent a vehicle with clearance due to poor road conditions on the ENTIRE ISLAND. However, road conditions were particularly bad at the time of this booking because Tropical Storm Ernesto made landfall to the Virgin Islands less than 1 week prior to check-in. This guest was made aware of the storm and potential road conditions both pre & post storm. Furthermore, the local government has control over road clean-up & repairs, not VRBO hosts. *Caribbean Wildlife: At some point, guests are subject to encounter local critters when staying on a TROPICAL ISLAND. This includes lizards, frogs, bugs, ect. This info is provided to all guests via the Rental Agreement document. *Toilet/Water Usage: This property is an eco-friendly property that features a solar heater & low water usage toilet for conservation purposes. Additionally, guests are asked to be mindful of what they throw in the toilet due to potentially clogging the plumbing system. Unfortunately, previous guests have a tendency to discard too much tissue in the toilet leading to problems. This info is in writing & available for guests to read. *Air Conditioning: Summer months are the hottest time of year, and we totally sympathize with that fact. Which is why rates are 40% reduced during the summer to offset the inconvenience. Autumn & Winter months however, are quite comfortable rarely exceeding 76°F. There are ample ceiling & floors fans provided, as well as access to easterly trade winds (breeze). Lastly, this space is not a luxury listing. The lofty, open-air, island design is intended to highlight elements of nature. I would advise guests to read descriptions prior to booking. Due to VRBO’s cancellation policies, guests are not refunded for last-minute cancellations.
