A Great Place to stay

We enjoyed our time here. The place was very clean and the property was lovely. The host was very welcoming and he made us feel at home. We would highly recommend this place to stay. It is about a 20 min Uber ride from the historical area of Porto.

Courtyard House

This quaint property is very close to the ocean and all that Villa Gaia offers. The owner lives onsite and was easy to contact via app. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again when in the area.

Lovely little hideaway

What an amazing little couples retreat, had a fabulous time in the pool and private garden. Own entrance in and out of property. Beautiful surroundings and lots to do. Clean, tidy and well presented property, will definitely be back. Local amenities good and bus straight to Porto City, good travel connections via metro.

Amazing!

Just perfect for my stay. With a warm welcome from Joaquim, i took a moment to take in the tranquil setting in a beautiful garden and the perfect apartment with everything I could possibly need. The location is 10/10, a few minutes to the beach and restaurants and a short taxi ride to fabulous Porto. Joaquim is so kind and helpful and i couldn't recommend a stay here highly enough. If it's available snap it up!

We were greeted warmly by Joaquim. He explained everything in our apartment and around the property. We’ve stayed in many properties and Joaquim was the best ever introduction. The property had everything we needed and all was very clean and in good condition. The property was in a great location and was ideally placed for visiting Porto and Douro valley, Aveiro and Braga. We had a wonderful time.

Wunderbar

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Joaquim sehr genossen. Seine Gastfeundlichkeit war außerordentlich. So kamen wir in den Genuß, eine Kostprobe seines eigenen Portweins und seines Olivenöls zu bekommen. Er war immer ansprechbar und hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Joaquim, du bist einfach super! Wir wußten, dass das Apartment recht klein ist, aber dafür hatten wir einen großartigen Außenbereich zur eigenen Verfügung.

Sehr schöne fewo in einer tollen Gegend

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Ferien Wohnung von Joaquim. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön und Großräumig angelegt. Die Ferien Wohnung für 2 Personen hat alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Joaquim ist ein freundlicher offener Mensch. Er spricht fließend englisch und ist zudem hilfsbereit. Er hat uns die Weinberge 1,5 Stunden entfernt empfohlen und wir waren begeistert. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut. Zu Fuß sind es 5 min zum Meer und 8 min zum nächsten Strand. In der Nähe gibt es viele Cocktail bars und Restaurants. Nach Porto mit dem Uber sind es 15 nun und kostet etwa 7 Euro. Leider konnten wir nicht reiten, aber das klappt bestimmt beim nächsten mal.

Quartier für einen kurzen Portobesuch

Die Lage ist sehr gut, sowohl für Ausflüge nach Porto wie auch zum Atlantik-Strand und zum Ufer des Douro. Parkplatz safe auf dem Grundstück, kleines Gärtchen mit charmanter Sitzecke. Das Appartement ist leider sehr klein, mit heruntergeklapptem Schrank-Bett bleibt kaum Bewegungsraum. Die Begrüßung und Betreuung waren sehr nett und entgegenkommend (Joaquim hat bis spät abends gewartet, weil unser Flieger Verspätung hatte). Der Begrüßungs-Portwein war exzellent!

Amazing property, host and location!

We were lucky to find such a wonderful property and owner. The beach is only a couple blocks away, as are multiple restaurants and a grocery store. The host knew all about the area and the history, and was very helpful. We'll be back.

Een kleine accomodatie, maar wel goed te doen. Er zijn wel veel blaffende honden in de omving, dat is snachts wel jammer.

Great place, very homely atmosphere with Joaquim being a perfect host. Close to the beach, could hear the ocean at night which was lovely. Accommodation had everything that we needed for our stay, well equipped kitchen and barbecue outside. Very quiet area but close to seafront cafes and restaurants. Short ride to centre of Porto and Afurada fishing village serving delicious seafood. Would definitely recommend, we have enjoyed every minute of being there. Excellent stay!!!!

Cozy room with beautiful outdoor area.

We enjoyed the time very much. Joaquim ist a very nice host and helpful with everything. The small flat has everything you need and is very clean and cozy. Outdoor area is beautiful with a small pool, BBQ and a hammock. The beach is close (5 min walk) but it was a little bit too cold and windy. We would definitely come back. Thank you Joaquim, also for your tips and recommendations.
