Barreiros I, simplicity in Funchal

A pleasant vacation needs a simple and comfortable functional house, so you can absorb the most important thing: all the beauty and good times in our island!

Located in the Barreiros area, this apartment offers all the facilities and conditions for a carefree vacation, in the company of friends or your better half.
With a simple and minimalist decoration, this comfortable apartment has a bedroom with double bed and a living room with a sofa bed. Both spaces have a balcony, where you can have your meals, in a relaxed way.
The property has a free parking space in the garage of the building.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
This property is located just ten minutes from the center of Funchal, its services and multiple restaurants. This residential area has several commercial spaces. Besides the cafes, pastry shops and snack bar there is a mini market and bakery right next to the building, perfect to buy your bread for breakfast.

TRANSPORT
For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to reach the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport!
To go to the center of Funchal, there are bus stops nearby.

OTHER REMARKS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability.
- All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Very nice appartement

It was a very nice appartement. There is bus stop directly in front of the building and a very good bakery in the same building :) The kitchen was equipped with everything that was needed and everything was clean and comfy. Only the view from the balcony is different than in the images of the booking platform as there is a new building in the other side of the road which blocks the view to the sea, but nevertheless the balcony is still very nice.

Lovely apartment

We were there for 5 weeks, lovely place to stay for a longer time. Amazing view over Funchal city and the mountains around. The kitchen could do with some new stuff, but otherwise over all a nice place.

Nice and spacious apartment with a view

We liked the apartment a lot, it has everything you need. The view is beautiful, but be aware that it's located on a big street, therefore it's a little noisy with the windows open. Pros: private parking, bakery and supermarket nearby. About 30 minutes walking distance from Funchal old town, 5 minutes by car. Would recommend!

Perfect stay in Madeira

A fantastic apartment just outside the busy Funchal centre. It is equipped with a great kitchen and other facilities which made our stay wonderful. I also loved the balcony with the view! Very spacious apartment which also has a parking spot inside. The location was also great: within walking distance to many restaurants, close to the main roads and the bakery downstairs is a bonus! Check-in went smoothly and I would definitely stay here again

a month in Madeira

-a straightforward rental experience -unusual to be in a flat but it was very well equipped, tastefully furnished and practical -we hadn’t realised that it was on a main road so -the balcony experience was not good -however that meant: two bakeries with cafes, a greengrocer, chemist and mini-market on the doorstep and bus-stops nearby -the bed was hard

Lovely apartment in an excellent location.

We had a great holiday in beautiful Madeira. The apartment in Funchal was great, very comfortable and in a great location very close to downtown but not right in the centre. The local shops under the apartment were great. Down hill close by is the beautiful Quinta Magnolia gardens where you can also enjoy a nice meal in the evening. There are also tennis courts. Several local bus routes are close by and the No 3 bus from the centre stops right outside which the stop to go to the centre is just opposite. Round the corner you can also catch the No 8 bus. We can recommend this apartment for a great holiday in Madeira.

The apartament it's not so new comparing with anothers apartments, but is well divided, very nice view in day and night time. EXCELLENT! Great conditions, well equipped apartment, beautiful view and excellent location. On the ground floor, a wonderful cafe with delicious coffee, bread and pastry, nearby a bar with great food, close to the center. I would absolutely recommend !!!
