Good but missed little important details such as : at least one paper towel roll, a little washing powder, a box of of Kleenex , an extra tea towel( one is not enough for a week.)A broom!!! The shower is not good!!! Very hard to get any pressure and initially there was no water. Main switches for H20& electric were off which led to frustration. Small basic instructions would have been helpful. Good but lacked those little extras we experienced before at Livesey Close. Thank you for the good aspects .
Context is required: this was week 3 of a 4 week trip to the UK. We needed a property with a working washing machine and that was also clean. The washing machine didn’t work, although it was obviously very new. The standard of cleanliness left something to be desired. The owner offered to get her maintenance person in the following evening to look at the washing machine, so she tried, but we were disappointed and had no clean clothes to wear. We found alternative accommodation (albeit in West Sussex, so not an ideal location) and wrote this property experience off as a lesson in booking through VRBO.. the owner offered to pay for laundry service, or for her friend/manager to do our laundry. This involved more complication and/or time wasted waiting for collection and delivery. On reflection this proved unacceptable so we cut our losses and moved on. I did report this problem with the washing machine to VRBO on our first and only evening. Basically there isn’t much to be done. Lost money but as I said a learning experience when dealing with single property owners which I suspect this is. Go with a property management company if you want clean and functional. To the owner, I hope you got the washing machine fixed. I’m sure you’ll probably try and blame me, but if you invested in a good deep clean, some redecoration and new linens this would be a great property.
We stayed for a week in May. The apartment was clean and situated about a 10 minute walk from the Kingston city centre. Check-in process and communication was easy and we received quick responses from the Host. Overall the apartment has the basic necessities needed for a week long stay. The only shower in the apartment is quite small which we found a bit tricky. A recommendation that we have found helpful from other hosts is a guidebook for the area - how or where to get public transit and location of supermarkets etc. Overall our stay was nice, the place is in a quiet area, we were satisfied with the space and the apartment.

Our stay was fantastic! The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive. The location was ideal, making it easy to enjoy the local area. Highly recommend!
Good size two-bedroom flat on the first floor of a three-storey 90s block, apprxoximately 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Kingston. We stayed for two months with our toddler whilst renovating our house nearby. The space worked well for us.
The only things that could do with improving is the heating: there are only electric wall-mounted radiators, and the one in the master bedroom doesn't work. Add in single glazing and condensation was a bit of an issue. The shower in the en-suite (the only shower) is also quite small, but absolutely fine for a short stay.
Great property in a quiet location close to town centre
We had a very enjoyable stay at this property for over a month, while our own house was being refurbished. The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. The flat was clean, functional and spacious and the location was super quiet, whilst only a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre. All in all, highly recommended.
Ideal für unsere Familie mit zwei Kindern. Zwei Bäder, gut ausgestattete Küche, schöner Essbereich am großen Fenster. Kurzer Fußweg zum Bahnhof, von dort etwa eine halbe Stunde nach London. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen wieder!

Great apartment in good location
Warm apartment with everything you need and close to the town centre.
Check in was easy, communication fast and everything logically thought out.
