The Royal Garden at Waikiki is a luxurious and intimate condo-hotel. The moment you enter the lobby, you’re embraced by stunning Italian marble walls, columns and floors. Unlike the large, crowded hotels, this is a relaxed setting in a quieter area of Waikiki with 6 floors of privately owned condos while the rest are operated by Wyndham Resorts as Timeshares. You can walk to the beach, shopping, dining within minutes or walk to trolley rides to the world-renowned Ala Moana Shopping Center or The Hawaii Convention center.

But, you don't need a car as everything is walking distance and public transportation is everywhere. The trolley's in Waikiki and Uber and Lyft are everywhere including to/from the airport. "The Bus" will take you anywhere on island for a few dollars and you can put DaBus app on your phone for real time information or pay just $60 for an unlimited monthly ride pass.

Another option is to rent a car for the days you need. There are the major car rental agencies walking distance from the condo and you can also rent cars by the day from Hui or Turo with locations in Waikiki.

Overall cleanliness and availability of everyday necessities such as coffee maker, dishes and utencils, fridge, microwave, free laundry machines, fitness equipment, etc. Convenient location to restaurants, shopping areas, bus stops to all attractions in Oahu, airport and cruise terminal. A small bag of coffee thoughtfully provided by Mike and Maria came in very handy.

The Heh family’s place has everything we needed! The location is perfect and the place was wonderful. We really appreciated that they took the time to make sure everything including ironing board, after sun care and laundry detergent! All in such great value. Defining this unit as premium is an understatement! PERFECT is more appropriate! The view from the balcony is great, and the amenities were not only abundant but comprehensive. The Host anticipated everything. From umbrellas, beach towels & chairs, and bus schedules, to local activities, a list of convenience stores, a wide selection of casual reading material, a private VPN option, spices in the kitchen cabinet, and so much more. A truly immersive experience that was like transporting our home to Honolulu; the pictures don't do justice. The Best Stay Ever

We have stayed in various properties in Waikiki over the last four years, and this one was the favourite of me and my daughter, and we hope to stay there again.Everything went very well (such as the check-in and wi-fi access) and we liked the kitchen facilities. I liked the way the Condotel worked with Wyndham. We felt that it was a real find with great value. We understand the you generally have to pay high fees for parking in Honolulu. We didn’t want to pay the high price for valet parking, so finding a parking place was a constant challenge. Every night was an adventure cruising the neighborhood to find spots, but we usually managed to find free parking between 9 pm and 6 a.m.

Relaxing and comfortable

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place was clean and tidy, comfortable bed and relaxing space on the lanai overlooking the river. All staff were friendly and helpful and the owner is one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure dealing with. Highly recommended.

Why they chose this property

We're located on a quieter side street off the main drag in a medium sized boutique condotel, providing a more relaxed (and much less expensive) experience than the larger busy Waikiki hotels. Yet we're still in the middle of all the fun, restaurants, shops, nightlife and of course world famous Waikiki Beach!

What makes this property unique

You don't even need a car here unless you want to go for more sightseeing! Finally, as you can see in our wonderful guest reviews, they love our place. They also appreciate our condo is on the cooler (sunset side) of the building so you don't get the direct morning or afternoon sun either!
