A lovely place to stay!

This villa is wonderful. It is a very short walk to the beach and the backyard is beautiful. It is very comfortable and spacious for larger groups. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place

Vanda place is a perfect place for a family or a group of friends to gather. It's a very short walk to the beach and not far the the city of Ponta Delgada. The property itself is very comfortable, well equipped and perfect for a large group.

Wonderful Vacation Home

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Pópulo. The house was spacious and clean. It was also located in an area that was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Wedding in the Azores

My daughter was getting married and we wanted a place for family outside of the main hotel where we could relax and prepare for the big day. The host met inquired about our flight's arrival and arranged to meet us and review the rooms and the accommodations. Beautiful! Rooms were tidy, no bugs, the pool was cleaned and ready to enjoy. She left us with instructions and even had an emergency contact at the Canadian Consulate. I would not hesitate to recommend this location and host to any of my friends or other family members.

Would have liked:- better pillows and more comfortable mattresses - a/c, very humid and hot when we stayed - the closets not to have smelled like mildew (downstairs was very humid even with the dehumidifier)- not to have dealt with the little insects on the walls and ceiling cockroaches in the lower kitchen and bedroom- the pool to be a little cleaners (bottom of pool, also cockroaches and lizards floating)-no mention of the wash machine, picture also does not show it, but property had one— tough to get in and out of driveway, low profile car scraped bottom getting in and out- check it time per listing 11am but booklet inside had 10am- missing screens(We are not used to having windows open with no screens and insects in the house)Host did provide wine and snacks upon arrival.And helped us on check in day.Great location for all of our day trips around the island, including close to beach. Pool was enjoyed House is huge, plenty of place to put clothesPlenty of parking within gate and on street Close to highway to get whenever we wantedSupermarket close byNo worth while Local restaurants nearby

Didn't want to leave!

We loved staying here. Canada's house is well kept and spacious. The pool is an added bonus! Vanda is quick to reply to questions and is very helpful.

Topverblijf op mooie locatie.

Jammer dat we hier maar 4 dagen konden verblijven. Prima ontvangst, zeer ruime villa, proper en piekfijn zwembad. Nog mooier dan de foto’s op het internet.

Mooie villa dicht bij strand en stad.

Prachtige villa met lekker zwembad en groot terras. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met 6 personen. De villa bestaat uit 2 appartementen, het appartement beneden is iets eenvoudiger en rook wat vochtig.

Extremely clean house

Vanda has a beautiful and very clean house. Her son Joao maintained the pool during our stay. It's only 10 minutes from airport and a 3 minute walk to beach. Only recommendation is that more towels be provided. If we return to the Açores, we will definitely contact Vanda to stay at her house again. All 7 of us loved the house.
