Villa Mare is beautifully situated on the boarder of Skala beach and town one of the most popular resorts of the island. This property overlooks the sandy coastline of Mounda turtle beach which is less than a kilometre away. Within close range you will also find several restaurants, bars, beach bars, supermarkets and more.

A modern property built in 2018 features an open-plan living accommodation with patio doors leading out to the balconies, terrace and the fabulous pool area that front the spectacular views.
This stylish home offers three spacious bedrooms from which two of them are en suite and located on the 1st floor of the property. A spacious living room area with an open and fully equipped kitchen is found on the ground floor, the outdoor pool patio area boasts spectacular sea views along the coastline and across to the island of Zante. Designed and furnished to a high standard throughout, this property comes highly recommended providing a haven for those wishing to relax and get away from it all.

Lovely villa

Villa was fabulous, beds super comfy & kitchen fully functional. Too far to walk into Skala but only a 10 minute drive. Fabulous views You are on top of the main road but it’s not intrusive or busy

Lovely villa with stunning views across the pool and out to sea. Even though it is situated just above a road it really wasn’t an issue and as the plants and shrubs grow it will be completely screened. The property is tastefully decorated and spacious and worked well for our group of five women. Lovely welcome items which were much appreciated. Communication with Panos was very good prior to our visit and he arranged our airport transfers for us. We also had a contact number for the property manager who met us upon our arrival. Taxis into Skala were quick and reliable and we made good use of them. We also hired a car for two days to get around the beautiful island. There is nothing negative to add about the property but I think it would be helpful to be clearer about the fact that you need a car or be prepared to take taxis into town. Some other reviews we read prior to our stay suggested it was a 30 minute walk into Skala, which we would have been happy with but there is no path and it’s quite a busy road so really not practical or safe.Overall we loved the villa and loved Kefalonia and hope to be able to return in the future

Lovely home

Spent 11 nights in this lovely home. Weather was good to us and we really enjoyed the outdoor pool area. We had a car and also made some day trips. Beautiful island will revisit

Good points, the villa is brand new and internally was brilliant. Plenty of room, well layed out, could not fault it. Externally, there is much landscaping to be done to try to hide you from the main road, 10 metres from the pool and villa, some bushes either side would shield the villa until the last second. Pool not tiled so was a concrete grey and not very appealing. Easy 30 minute walk into skala but down the main road. Would use the villa again if all issues addressed.
