Wide apartment fully renovated very close to the sea

Very nice and wide apartment of about 100 sqm just renovated and situated in the city center of the historic district of Castellammare di Stabia close to the marina bay (Porto Salvo).

As indicated by most of my guests, the apartment enjoys impeccable cleaning now carried out with specific sanitizing products.

Equipped with all comforts (eg. air conditioners, satellite TV, washing machine, linen, iron, hairdryer) the apartment is ideal for a family holiday discovering both Sorrento Coast and/or Naples. The apartment in fact is located in a strategic positioning between these wonderful cities. Equipped with 6 beds, 2 bathrooms, 2 storage rooms and a large single living room + kitchen equipped with snacks. In front of the condominium entrance there are different parking lots for cars/motorcycles where to park with extreme simplicity. It is possible to reach the apartment from Naples Capodichino airport directly by bus or from the railway station in Naples (Piazza Garibaldi) by the Circumvesuviana (train line that connect Naples to Sorrento).

Really close to the apartment you can reach the best typical and folk restaurants of the area where you can taste local dishes (do not miss the fresh fish at reasonable prices).

Excellent connections with the three islands of the Gulf of Naples (Capri, Ischia, Procida). A few steps from the apartment you can reach the Circumvesuviana stop (Railway station that connect the city to Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Ercolano) and the cableway leading to Mount Faito.

In the city there are several agencies where it is possible to rent cars, motorbikes and boats for private trips and excursions at advantageous prices.

And if you want to enjoy the sea, no problem! You can easily reach (even by foot) several bathing establishments equipped with all comforts :

Very Nice Holiday Apartment

Very smart holiday apartment in an ugly old House. Our stay was very pleasant. Dario, the owner, leaves no wish unfulfilled. We were welcome very lovely by Dario. The apartment is equipped with all you need and spends place for up to six persons. Very clean rooms and a powerful air-condition. Please help to keep the new renovated apartment in a fine state! The place Castellemarre. A very beautiful, warm and nice place to stay. Good people all around.

My experience with my family was that of the happiest tourist of all time. This property is exactly what you were told plus extra. It feels like home as we did not lack anything, eveverything was provided to make it home away from home. Dario the property manager for me is about the best you can get anywhere in the World. A very friendly guy, welcoming, ready to help at anytime of the day and night, information giver, a perfect description master, I can go on and on without end. In all Dario is a very good man, he can be recommended for greater responsibilities. Coming to the property, it is a good place to stay with wonderful neighbours. The sea side restaurants are great for foods, loads of sea foods to try. I couldn't fault this place in any way, we had all the good times of this world, I have no regret. I want to personally recommend this property and Dario to any would be tourist to Napoli, thank you.

Nice apartment, lively experience but difficult

Castellamare is a very lively, unique experience where the local spirit really shines through. The apartment itself is spacious and clean (but bring your own water) and located next to the marina and several great seafood restaurants to choose from. It is not, however, where you want to base your family location in the Naples area, unless you have a lot of patience. We could not find a market, nor the typical cafe nearby. The Circumvesuviana metro train station (for Sorrento, Pompeii) is a 15-minute walk away, and the state FS train station is 20+ minutes away (for Naples only). So allow at least 1.5-2.0 hours to get to Sorrento and probably the same to get to Naples. Not convenient for a family.

Not much there

Not knowing this area, we relied solely on description. This area is very run down as is the place. The beds were all very uncomfortable, and the shower was a single stream of water. Snacks were supposed to be provided and there were three small juice boxes on a paper towel. The walk from the train station is NOT very close and is quite difficult with luggage. We did use the ferry to Capri and that port was close by so that was good. No beaches close by as advertised. Just not at all as nice as it was described. The host was very kind to text with. Wouldn't visit the area again.

A practical option for sight-seeing in Campania.

The property was very well located close to the Circumversuvio railway which enabled us to efficiently visit Pompeii, Versuvius and Herculaneum. We also used it to visit Sorrento in order to board a bus tour of the Amalfi Coast. Dario was extremely helpful and the property was comfortable for our 5 night trip. The only concern we had was in the parking of our hire car as traffic in this area of Castellmare di Stabio is very congested.

Dario was an amazing host, very helpful and careful to our needs! The apartment was spacious, clean and offered all necessary amenities. Location is very good for visiting the area. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby and even it is a busy area in the night, the apartment was quiet. Some small issues with the parking in the evening, but there is an Italian guy which helped us for a little attention. It was a good value for the money, considering location accommodation prices and we would definitely recommend a stay here.

Un appartamento grazioso, nuovo e pulito. Abbiamo ricevuto una splendida accoglienza dal proprietario, persona seria e disponibile. L’appartamento è localizzato a pochi passi dal centro e circa 12 minuti a piedi da spiaggie libere e private. Dall’appartamento è possibile raggiungere la circumvesuviana per visitare altri fantastici luoghi tra cui Vico Equense e la splendida Sorrento, anziché utilizzare la macchina. Il centro è ricco di sfizioserie, pub, pizzerie e soprattutto chalet in cui si può gustare pesce fresco spendendo veramente poco. Tipici della zona sono i luoghi in cui si può guastare frutta fresca , servita a tavola in delle bellissime composizioni. Inoltre è presente un accogliente lungomare, dove si può passeggiare tranquillamente di sera. Insomma è adatto per godersi una vacanza in piena tranquillità e a prezzi economici.

Why they chose this property

I decided to rent this apartment when I realized the strategic position where it is located. It is in fact exactly at the beginning of the Sorrento Coast (just before Vico Equense) but at the same time not too far from Naples. Ideal to spend a few days with your family in complete relax visiting wonderful places without spending a fortune. Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Capri are really easy to reach!
