Uninterrupted Pacific Ocean views

Beach cottage built in 2016. 10ft ceilings, Wall of windows on both west and east sides for unobstructed ocean views. steps to the beach on a private path. miles of flat firm beach to walk.

Rental is a 2 floor with large great room, open stairway, King Ensuite with Half bath
There is garage below that are not accessible to renters. You will be the only people there.

1 King size bed, and a Daybed that converts to two twins. Please be mindful, the King is good for 2 adults, the convertible day bed is adequate for 1 adult (2 small children) mattresses are only 3 inches thick

Currently, due to COVID, we are leaving the sheets folded on the bed. less hands touching....

Full kitchen, 4 person pub table for dinning and a kitchen island for prep and eating.

1 full bath, 1 Half bath

Decks on both the west and east views, 2nd floor living to best take advantage of the beach and breakers. Entrance is a sliding door on the western deck, living level

Quite, cozy, and charming.

Wifi included (no land line, cell coverage ok)
no TV, why waste your time when you can be walking on the beach.

Short walk to beach with ocean views.

This was a great place to stay. Our dogs loved walking on the beach. It was nice to watch the weather changes from the living room and the bedroom upstairs. Decks were great for the dogs to lounge on. Thanks so much for sharing you cabin by the ocean with us!

Absolutely perfect location. Super cute house, very open and bright. Great for 2 people and a small dog. Deck is awesome. If money were no object I would stay here every weekend. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Great beach and location

Loved staying here with our two dogs! Quiet, relatively private, and a nice easy stroll over the dunes to the beach. Really great to crack the windows and hear the waves crashing.

Perfect getaway to relax

Beautiful property and surroundings, steps away from the beach. Property is very clean and has everything you need to prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen. Outside deck is great to enjoy watching sunset over the ocean. Owner very responsive to any questions. Area is very peaceful and private.

Delightful Cottage By The Sea

Such a lovely accommodation set back from the seashore! My husband and I (with our small dog) thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at the cottage! The unit was modern, pretty and well appointed with a great deck and view! Highly recommend!

Grayland beach house

The place is exactly as advertised. Private, well stocked, and steps from the beach. Good communication from the host. This was our second stay, and we've booked a third for later this spring.

Getaway long weekend.

Quite easy to find. Great directions. Lovely ocean front home with lots of amenities. Comfortable king bed. Dog friendly with long walks on the beach. Fog rolls in quick. Didn’t expect vehicles on the beach but all were accommodating. Would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Lovely getaway

Overall the place was lovely. Only a couple of things that might have made it better. The bed was not made when we arrived so we had to put the sheets on. And it would have been nice to have some instant coffee for those of us who are not as thorough at packing.

Great place for a couple's getaway

I love this property. We don't come as often as I would like as it is a bit pricey, but you definitely get your money's worth. It is the perfect size for a couple - with everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway. The deck is awesome and the large windows mean you can enjoy the view even if the weather turns. Really, just a great birthday weekend. Thanks!

Peaceful

Stayed here for a few days with my dog for a short getaway. The house was clean and had everything I needed. Was very quiet and peaceful. The location is perfect, I sat on the deck every day and watched the ocean. Walked down to the beach multiple times with my dog, even on the weekend the beach wasn’t crowded. There is no TV which was actually perfect, I didn’t spend much time inside. Check in was super easy. I will most definitely stay here again.

A few extra things

The place was lovely, light and comfortable, good amenities. I stayed for a month, worth every penny. The extras were NO Insects, bugs or critters. Privacy without isolation. And the trail to the beach was great, wide enough, no debris or rocks. Bare feet all the way.

Sweet cabing, but warning: cars, on the beach!

The cabin was all that it claimed to be. A minute walk to a beautiful beach. I was surprised that cars, and lots of them drive on the beach. WIth the sound of the wind and waves, blocking the engine noise, a few came right up behind my dog and me, startiling us. It is so disturbing that such a pristine environment would allow cars! The cabin was everything we needed though. Very clean, except for lots of white, long dog hair on the livingroom carpet (my dog has very short orange fur) and some in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay, except for the cars!

Peaceful ocean escape in a cozy setting

Husband, son and I stayed two nights in this lovely cottage right on the ocean. Just right for 2-3 adults I'd say. Comfortable and stocked with necessities. Picturesque and quiet setting was very relaxing. And we were able to find loads of sand dollars on our beach walks at low tide! The home did look like it had seen a busy summer of use and was ready for a good deep cleaning but was clean enough to not concern me too much- and I'm a bit germaphobic. Few minor updates would be good such as putting in a tile backsplash by the kitchen sink as the wood one is starting to peel paint and mold along the counter. But we would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Fireworks Disclosure should behave been provided

We were looking forward to a quiet, relaxing week at the beach cottage with our 2 small dogs (as advertised in every prior review) to get away from the insane fireworks at our home in Montana. Upon arrival on July 1st we learned the only public fireworks location was the stretch of state beach adjacent to the cottage from 9am to 11pm on July 1 to 5 (until midnight on the 4th). The neighbors several doors to the north set off large explosives from morning to night for 5 days straight and all through the night of July 4th until 6am on the 5th. Our dogs were terrified and we barely slept during our 6 night stay. I mentioned our desire to get away from fireworks upon booking our reservation and I feel this information should have been disclosed.

Quiet and Cozy

Check in was simple, with very clear driving instructions. We loved how quiet and off the beaten track this place was. And, spent hours down on the beach enjoying the solitude and sand. The house is well equipped and was spotless when we arrived.

The access to this huge beach is top notch. Far enough away that you often have it all to yourself.Comfortable with fantastic views and sounds of waves breaking.

Fantastic and easy getaway

This was an excellent long weekend getaway. The house is comfortable, has amazing views of the pacific, easy walk to the beach, and very nicely appointed kitchen. The proximity to provisions in Westport was very helpful. The deck had a gate we could close and allow our dog to roam freely on the patio! The bed was comfortable, the washer/dryer were essential, and most of all we were worlds away from home with just a 2 hour drive. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful Beach Get Away

We stayed a week over the holidays. The house is a perfect get away for a couple. Bed is comfortable - kitchen and bathrooms clean. Beach view is amazing and easy path gets you right to the waves. Not much open in town during winter, best to bring your groceries.
