The house is located on an orange grove, a haven of peace and very close to the town of Silves. You can walk there to shop. The house has just been built and is ecologically at the forefront of new technologies in terms of air conditioning and comfort. It is prepared to receive disabled people.

The house has five bedrooms all with their own bathroom. The living room has incorporated an American kitchen with an island that can accommodate up to 12 people. The living room has more than 100m2 and overlooks the terrace and the swimming pool, with mountain and garden views. The Villa has 150 m2 of fenced terrace, garden, garden furniture, barbecue, free wifi, TV and satellite. This is the third time we have stayed at the villa, this time with extended family. It is well equipped for families/large parties with ample seating areas, bathrooms etc. the location is good, being in a private gated development just outside the town which made it quiet and peaceful to sit outside but convenient for town. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there and the heating made it a good temperature to swim all week despite some days being cooler than others. When we had an issue with the gate not closing the host was very responsive and sent someone to fix it within a matter of a couple of hours.

The water was at 30-32. The heating machine could not do more than that. It stopped. Sorry but 34-36 only in África or in a Jaccuzi. I

Beautiful house in serene location

Despite a problem with the AC, which the owner tried very hard to rectify, we loved our family time together in Silves. We were a family group of eight from three generations and the villa is more than big enough. A folder containing basic instructions for electrical goods, wifi and keys would have been useful. Overall though fantastic, nobody wanted to leave.

The villa was very well equipped, spacious and had very good bathroom facilities, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Kitchen facilities were good, and the pool was a good size.We were a party of 10 but there were only 6 sun beds, 2 very poor parasols and we only had 8 pool towels. We requested more and got 2 more sun beds and towels which did arrive promptly. In the middle of our 2 week stay the bedding was changed and all towels taken away so we were left with no villa or pool towels for a couple of hours. When more were brought we only had 8 pool towels and despite 2 email requests no more were provided. And no cleaning was done for the whole fortnight we were there.When we arrived the BBQ was filthy and we had to spend a long time cleaning it and all the utensils before it could be used.The villa description referenced a gym but the equipment didn’t work and it was far too hot in there.

Hemos estado 8 adultos y 8 niñ@s durante una semana y nos hemos encontrado muy agusto en la casa. Es muy amplia, con 5 habitaciones que tienen un tamaño bastante grande sobre todo una que es donde ham dormido casi todos los niñ@s juntos. Tiene todo el menaje necesario para 20 personas o más. El porche me ha encantado y hemos pasado muy buenos momentos. La propiedad ha estado atenta a nuestras necesidades y han sido muy amables en todo momento.

Perfect family villa

The villa is purpose built, very well appointed and beautifully clean. The air con is underfloor and was very much appreciated, though it was a particularly hot week and only just cool enough at times. The pool and outside seating area is gorgeous and well maintained and we enjoyed using the table tennis table. The umbrellas round the pool were a bit challenged by the wind and we couldn’t use them very often, luckily the seating area was well covered and provided plenty of shade. We loved the restaurant at the end of the drive and would thoroughly recommend, best chicken piri piri of the week! A fabulous base for a large family group, thank you to our hosts and helpful neighbours who let us in when we arrived late. The owners were extremely responsive to requests for information and very welcoming, thank you!

Exatamente o que precisávamos para um casal de avós com 3 casais de filhos e 4 netos. Muito espaçoso e muito confortável. A beautiful, modern villa with excellent facilities. The owners were very helpful and even provided some disability aids which made life there a lot easier. Not 100% wheelchair friendly to get outside or to the pool without assistance but not a huge problem

Peaceful and very comfortable

We had a fantastic (truncated by flight cancellation) week at this very well equipped and comfortable villa. It's in a peaceful location on the edge of an historic Town with good restaurants within walking distance. The pool and outside area was a big hit, particularly with the children. Indeed, we struggled to get them out of the pool most evenings. Highly recommended.

Very badly run!

There were so many issues with this property I could make a huge list! Safety was one concern-we were promised a secure pool area (there should have been a fence and a gate with a lock) but there was no key to lock the gate so the pool area could be accessed by the 5 and 2 year old children! None of the gates surrounding the property could even be closed let alone locked so the children had to be closely watched at all times. I had to wash ALL the crockery, cutlery, pans and utensils (the electronic juicer had been put away without being washed at all). The dishwasher filter was disgusting-it was so bad that it made all the dishes dirty. I had to clean the filter three times and run the dishwasher on empty twice before it cleaned dishes properly. There was no washing up liquid, no tea towels no dish cloths (I bought them all whilst there) and we did ask for these. There were NO outside umbrellas at all…….these were supplied on request…..two umbrellas for all the adults and children-not enough. The towels were awful…some were dirty (couldn’t get them clean) there were no pool towels, no towel change, no bedding change for a 12 day stay, the pillows were terrible, the beds were cheap. No toiletries were provided. As for the owner being cooperative and helpful…….not true! After our first complaint (about the dirty kitchen) we never heard from him again. We had a visit from his wife complaining because we had a tent on the grass to protect the children from the sun (because there weren’t enough umbrellas!). The pool (which we paid €200 to have heated) was so highly chlorinated that we got chemical burns on our skin! The pool was never checked as to the levels of chlorine. The toaster is too small and too slow for a property that houses 10 people. There is no documentation telling you how things work, we only got one key….so how could the two families go out separately? The crockery was broken and cracked and the glassware had chips which were dangerous when washing up! The owners have no idea how to run a business and this property is misrepresented on the site as there are only good reviews being shown!

I was rather astonished and sad to know that you didn’t enjoy your stay. We spoke during your stay and at that time you didn’t mention any problems. The pool is enclosed with small gates that can be closed when needed with the keys that are on the table under the TV set. The hygiene of the pool is done with saline electrolyze ( never with chemical chlorine) and everything about the pool is automatic. It is the equipment that takes care of the PH of the water and other components. The cleaner has only to check the dashboard to see if everything is ok. The day of your arrival it was raining and windy, so the handyman just put the sunshades near the pool the next morning. He brought some but he tells me that someone told him that two were enough . You were only four adults and two children. Next time he will put them all. Regarding the dishes I have checked the broken china. I found four dishes and two service bowls defective, with chips due to maybe the washing machine in a total of dozens of dishes, glasses and service dishes. The house has material for thirty people. The other were intact. However none were actually broken. I have already eliminated them. The toaster is a very normal one of a well known brand with good reputation. I looked and found it on the lowest temperature. The mattresses are neither the best nor the worst. I would say they are normal. I have asked the cleaning staff to put more pillows of different densities for people to choose which kind they like best. And I have also asked them to check more carefully the household linen that arrives from the laundry in order to avoid any inconvenience and also to check if the machines are in working conditions. They have assured me that they had washed all pans as they always do. They have instructions to put all equipment in perfect order before the arrival of each guest. Thank you for pointing that out to me. I was out at the time of your arrival due to personal matters so I could not check the house as I always do. Regarding the gate second remote control given to you it is still missing.

Winter sun in the Algarve

We stayed at the villa in mid October for a week and we’re very happy with our stay. It was a small family trip (2 adults, 2 kids) but could have accommodated a lot more. We have already rebooked for next year for the wider family! The location is good, in close proximity to town and out the back is a view of the valley and is very peaceful. The villa itself was clean and spacious with good amenities. The pool and BBQ area were highlights. The pool was heated and reached over 30 degrees by the end of the week. Very comfortable to spend the afternoon cooling down.

Ein Traum von Haus

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen hier verbraucht. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlichen von Eduardo empfangen, der uns zuerst das Haus gezeigt hat und uns dann in seinem Wagen durch den Ort gefahren hat und Tipps zum Einkaufen, Essen gehen etc. gegeben hat. Sogar eine Wasserflasche stand für jedem im Auto bereit. Was ein toller Empfang! Das Ferienhaus ist neu, sehr schön und modern eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und mehr- es lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt sogar Tischfussball, eine Tischtennisplatte, einen Fitnessraum und alle deutschen TV Programme inkl. Sky. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, von allen Zimmern und der schönen, sehr großen Terrasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Berge und Orangenbäume, der von dem beruhigenden Geräusch des schön angelegten Springbrunnen begleitet wird. Der Garten ist liebevoll angelegt mit vielen Blumen und einem Bio Gemüse-/ Kräutergarten, von dem man sich bedienen darf. Da das Wasser im Pool etwas kalt war hat Eduardo ihn für uns geheizt. Der Ort Silves ist zu Fuss in kurzer Zeit erreichbar und mit dem Auto ist man schnell an div. schönen Stränden in der Umgebung, da Silves sehr zentral gelegen ist und der ideale Ausgangspunkt um die Algarve zu erkunden. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Séjour en famille

La villa est vraiment très agréable et très bien équipée nous y avons séjourné 15 jours à 12 sans se marcher sur les pieds. Belle cuisine moderne avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Autant de chambres que de salles d'eau, le rêve ! Les enfants ont apprécié la piscine (bien grande) bien sûr mais aussi le baby foot. La maison est bien située à 15 ou 20 min des sites les plus réputés de l'Algarve. Mention spéciale à Irène la cuisinière qui nous a permis de savourer des plats typiques chaque soir, très appreciable. En résumé nous recommandons vivement cette location vous pouvez la louer les yeux fermés. Merci à Edouardo et Cristina.

Super séjour

Nous sommes partis à 3 couples avec enfants, la maison est grande, chaque chambre dispose d’une salle de bain attenante, elle très bien équipée. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer des bonnes vacances aussi bien pour les adultes (salle de fitness avec un tapis pour courir et deux vélos, serviettes de toilette et de piscine pour alléger les valises, ville de Silves accessible à pied, table de Ping-pong, etc.) que les enfants (jeux, baby-foot, piscine sécurisée et chauffée). Rien à redire juste a conseiller.
