Great stay in Mammoth! Clean and recently updated property with a well stocked kitchen and great pans. Plenty of room for our family of 4 and super close to the redline bus. We really enjoyed the hot tub too!
Absolutely FABULOUS townhouse! Everytime I reached for something I needed it was there! Perfect location just up the road from Eagle Lodge as well as food shopping & restaurants. Incredibly quiet, spectacular views & extremely comfortable beds! Anytime we come up to Mammoth we will be sure to stay here! Thanks Marty & Bill for a wonderful getaway from LA!
Hosts were communicative and welcoming. All information was clear and accurate. The condo was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4. The updated bathrooms were lovely. The proximity to the bus stop to reach the mountain was a high point for us. So easy to get to the slopes and to town. We used the jacuzzi after skiing which was delightful. We would definitely stay here again.
Everything was excellent! The host is a great communicator. The condo is in perfect condition. The kitchen was fully equipped. Really beautiful place. Hot tub was a welcome sight after hitting the slopes. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place. Looking forward to next time!
We had a fantastic visit. The place was clean, peaceful, and even better than the photos. The host communicated clearly and made everything simple, which helped us relax right away. I would gladly return for another stay.
The condo is in a good location related to town or mountain use. The condo is furnished nicely with cozy decorations and furniture. The kitchen has every amenity and tool you could possibly need to make your stay complete.
This super cute condo and exceeded our expectations. Our hosts have been very good at communicating. They provided recommendations on where to go, what to see, how to get to the slope, etc.The house is clean. The location is perfect for us because the shuttle bus stop is just right outside the condo, there is Vons within 3 minutes drive, lots of restaurants within less than 10 minutes drive. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that we need to make delicious meals. Thank you!
We're outdoor fanatics and love to share our passion for the mountains with others. Whether it's skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, or hiking and backpacking in the summer, Mammoth is one of our favorite places in the world. We've also fallen in love with the spirit of the Mammoth Lakes community, and volunteered for the Disabled Sports Program in past years. We hope you'll check out DSES online or when you visit. It's an incredible organization.
Why they chose this property
We both grew up backpacking in the Eastern Sierra with our families in the 1960s, which was pretty unusual back then (think jeans, sierra cups, external frame backpacks and pup tents. Buying a place in Mammoth, where we spent so much time, was a no-brainer. But finding the right unit took some time. We had strict criteria and knew that this was our mountain home the minute it came on the market. It's south-facing (lots of light!), can accommodate a group of family or friends without feeling crowded, we loved the soaring cathedral ceilings and picture windows, and the complex has a "campus like" feel. In addition, it's within walking distance to old Mammoth, and doesn't require a big uphill ride at the end of a day of cycling!
