Thank you for your review, positive comments are always welcome. There are a couple of hooks in the entrance to the cloakroom for coats. I have commented on your review just to show that it really matters when guests give positive comments and hopefully where possible gives us the opportunity to make improvements for our guests. We do hope you will return as you still appear to have enjoyed your stay. ''Bathroom had been updated nicely, however a flexible shower hose would have been useful as not everyone took showers, only baths and this made hair washing difficult''. Did contemplate an extra shower hose but children love to play games with siblings so decided against it for the time being. ''Kitchen did not have enough spare storage space for food items. We had to leave food items on counter tops or in utility porch and move around when cooking. I know not everyone enjoys to cook while on a break''. Thank you for your comment. We will be installing an extra wall cabinet for foodstuff. Guests sometimes put dishes from dining room sideboard into kitchen cabinets. Sorry I obviously didnt check this as I usually so. ''Bedrooms a little dated but spacious. Beds in single and twin rooms very soft but again that is a preference''. As you say its all about preference. We have tried to keep furniture as simple as possible for cleanliness. ''A parasol or awning for the garden seating area would have been useful. It would be an ideal spot for a sail awning,, allowing shelter from light rain but mainly sun. We were fortunate to have sun whole there''. Thank you for your comment. I am afraid an awning would be out of the question for previous reasons of children playing pranks as well as the upkeep of keeping it clean from bird droppings etc. We will look into replacing the outdoor table at some point which will accommodate a parasol. ''As mentioned the garden was beautiful and large, but is not fully dog proof for small dogs with spaces in hedging and gaps under fence. The owner, who lives next door almost had a visitor on a couple of occasions though gap under fence''. I did have face to face contact twice to check everything was to your liking. Had this been mentioned it would have been looked into. The only space I could see that a minute dog might try to get through is a very small gap under a section of fence that has been replaced recently. This gap has now been blocked off but will keep an eye on things for future guests.
