Cottage with sea view. Located in Roslagen (on the mainland) in the Stockholm archipelago. Ängsö National Park and lots of uninhabited islands nearby to visit.

Dishwasher Washing machine, refrigerator/freezer, floor heating in bathroom/shower. Water toilet. Private parking next to cottage.

Family-sized rowing boat with electric motor + canoe for up to 2 adults and 2 children.30 meters to the sea and 70 m to pier/swim. Wi-Fi (250 Mbit/s, fiber, unlimited megabytes).

3 meters from floor to ceiling in most of the cottage. Living room and kitchen/dining area. Patio door from living room to terrace (18 m2) overlooking the sea. Outdoor dining furniture + sun chairs. Outdoor Weber grill.

Bedroom with high quality spring beds: 1 double bed (200x160 cm) + 2 single built in bunk beds (200x90 cm each). The cottage is well suited for 2-4 people.

New bathroom (8 m2) with shower, floor heating, washing machine and water toilet. Hallway has built-in wardrobe.

Easy access to lots of uninhabited archipelago islands where you may explore, fish, bring picnics etc. Good fishing area (no license needed). Rowing boat with motor for up to 4 people + family size canoe for 2-3 persons included. Beautiful nearby areas for forest walks.

Cotton sheets, towels, Wi-Fi/internet (250 Mbit/s, unlimited megabytes), electricity, water and departure cleaning included in rent.

The garden borders a meadow. Private parking next to house.

Calm area. The property was originally developed in 1911. The surroundings are a genuine small archipelago village.

2 km from the cottage there is a public ferry that can take you to several of the nearby islands. The coastal city of Norrtalje (15 min from cottage) has many stores, restaurants, super markets, banks, post office, movie theatre, museums etc. Norrtalje/Stockholm bus stop is 350 meters from cottage.

Within 30 min drive: Furusund (Astrid Lindgrens summer home), three 18-hole golf courses, horseback riding, museums, living Viking village, Kapellskär Harbour.

Driving distances: Marholmen (restaurant, spa, playground, beach) 5 min. Penningby Castle 5 min, Norrtälje 15 min, Furusund 20 min, Kapellskär (Viking Line ferry) 20 min, Vaxholm 50 min, Stockholm Arlanda Airport 55 min, Stockholm city center 60 min, Uppsala 70 min.

Television: 40" Smart-TV (Apple-TV) via fiber Wi-Fi (250 Mbit/s) as wall as a DVD/Bluray player.

PLEASE NOTE: During high season (mid-April to mid-September) the cottage is only rented weekly with Saturday as change-over day. At other times during spring and autumn, it is possible to check in and out on any day of the week with a minimum rental period of 3 days. The cottage is not available in the winter.

No pets please. No smoking in cottage.

TIPS ON GETTING TO US:
Fly to Stockholm Arlanda Airport located 65 km from cottage (Sweden´s largest airport). Many international car rental firms are found here. Car is recommended but you may prefer bus from Arlanda Airport/Stockholm City to the cottage (you change bus in Norrtälje to Hysingsvik).

Paradise

In this cozy little cottage on the swedish archipelago you feel like in paradise. The cottage has been furnished with a lot of love and has everything you need. It is practically on the water and with the included boat you can visit a different island of the ten thousand to chose from every day to picnic and explore the island - a fantastic way to spend a vacation. The hosts live in the main house nearby and are very kind and helpful in every way. Thank you again Olof and Patricia for sharing your paradise with us, we feel priviledged to have met you!

Das Ferienhaus ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos dargestellt. Sehr freundlich und hell im skandinavischen Stil eingerichtet und hochwertig. Es fehlte nichts. Das Boot lag bereit und wir konnten damit durch die Schären fahren - auch wenn der E-Motor schon etwas gegen die Strömung ankämpfen musste, so war er wenigstens angenehm leise. Vermieter Olof gab hilfreiche Tipps und war für Fragen stets erreichbar. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ein Schwedischer Traum

Wir hatten als 3er-Familie in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus für 14 Tage einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen und übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Wir fühlten uns wie in einer perfekten Puppenstube und genossen die vielen Sonnenstunden auf der Terrasse. Olof war uns ein herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter und seine Frau Patrizia als emsige Gärtnerin pflegte die Oase als direkten Augenschmaus. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause, konnten durch das gute Wetter viel mit dem Boot und Kanu in die Schären hinaus fahren. Das Ferienhaus kann von uns nur empfohlen werden!!! Herzlichen Dank an Olof und Patrizia!!!

Super Lage, sehr gepflegt + nette Vermieter

Ulrich + Sabine, Hessen, Germany Wir waren 3 Wochen Gäste von Olof + Patricia und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr freundliche, herzliche + hilfsbereite Vermieter + das Haus absolut perfekt. Top gepflegt, sehr sauber + alles da, was man braucht + außerdem sehr geschmackvoll, wertig und mit Stil eingerichtet! Schöne Terrasse mit gepflegten Stühlen, Liegen und Sonnenschirm, den wir glücklicherweise häufig nutzen konnten. Außerdem eine völlig ruhige Lage, wo wirklich nur ab und zu mal jmd. zum Bootsanleger kommt. Das Haus liegt 1 Autostunde außerhalb von Stockholm, was aber bei den schwedischen Verkehrsverhältnissen kein Problem darstellt und man somit Stockholm ruhig mehrfach einplanen kann. Wir würden das Haus immer wieder buchen, wenn man zu einen die Ruhe genießen und zum anderen sich Stockholm und Umgebung anschauen möchte.

Das Cottage ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand und mit vielen kleinen Extras ausgestattet (z.B. Angeluttensilien, Schwimmwesten in vielen Größen, Picknickdecke, Thermoskanne, einige Gewürze,..) Es liegt sehr ruhig und der Vermieter wohnt nebenan. Er gibt auch Tipps wohin sich ein Ausflug lohnt. Wir waren zufrieden und können es weiter empfehlen.

Traumhafter Urlaub in schwedischer Ferienidylle

Wir durften 1 Woche in diesem wirklich sehr gepflegten, perfekten, kompletten und liebevoll ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbringen. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig. Das Haus mit der schönen Veranda, Tisch, Stühlen, Liegen und Sonnenschirm befindet sich kurz vor einem kleinen Privathafen, zu dem auch das zum Mietobjekt gehörende 5 PS Boot liegt. Damit konnten wir wunderbar, stundenlange Ausflüge in die angrenzenden Schären unternehmen, wobei es immer etwas Neues zu entdecken gab. Für die sportlich ambitionierten Urlauber gibt es auch noch ein Kanu dazu! Angelausrüstung, Rettungswesten, ein Grill und vieles mehr gehörten ebenfalls zur Ausstattung. Dies alles, gepaart mit der Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit der supernetten Vermieter Olof und seiner Frau Patricia machten unseren Aufenthalt dort zu einem gelungenen Urlaubsvergnügen. Nochmal vielen Dank an Olof für die Seekarten, die Tipps bzgl. Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkauf sowie die kurze Einweisung zum Umgang mit dem Boot.

Rowing boat with easy to operate 5 hp Mercury engine included in rent. Large canoe for 2-4 people also included. Many uninhabited islands nearby to explore. Close to beautiful forrest walks. Much warmer in the water than in the outer parts of the archipelago (ocean bathing water between 20°-24° is not unusual here in July and August).

Calm area and sea view. Property borders a meadow where you often see beautiful small deers. Boating and swimming at your doorstep. Close to the popular summer town Norrtälje (13 km) as well as Stockholm City (70 km).
