Byre Cottage is a lovely retreat situated near the village of Alston, Cumbria. Hosting one king-size bed and a ground floor shower room, this property can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with veranda. To the outside is off-road parking for one car, and an enclosed front lawn. Located amongst a scenic landscape overlooking the hills, Byre Cottage is a one-of-a-kind retreat in a magnificent part of England.

The centre of the village is the green, a post office and village store, St John’s church and the village hall are nearby. At Ashgillside and Beldy there are waterfalls namely Ashgill Force and Thortergill Force.
