Family holiday

It was a great stay. The apartment was comfortable with the 5 of us. Pool was clean throughout the week. The village Argegno is a steep walk down the road, but very beautiful with great restaurants. I’d be happy to come back.

The views from the apartment were spectacular. The apartment itself was ok but in need of a lot of TLC: some bedroom drawers were broken, handles broken, the third bedroom is a mezzanine rather than a proper room with limited sockets, no aircon but fans were provided, if the weather was cool/cold you would be stuck for indoor seating as there’s one 3 seater sofa bed (the apartment sleeps 8). The balcony was great, big enough for tables and chairs. Generally we were able to adapt and we had a lovely holiday. If you have mobility problems staying in the apartment would be tricky as it’s upstairs and in a mountainous area so lots of very steep walks. We all rated it 6/10.

August 2016 We didn't meet the host as everything was managed through an office in Menaggio. The location was good and the apartment was accurately listed. Detailed directions were greatly appreciated and the pool was great and most welcome at the end of a hot day's sightseeing. Jill, Australia

View top - Apartment not

The view is the best thing at the apartment. Beside this everything is cheap or broken. In the first days we did not have an internet connection. In the rest of the stay the internet connection was not realy stable and fast. The TV had no signal. The furniture was not clean and partly broken. The shutters on the roof windows on the upper floor did not work reliably. The WPC pool decks are totally bent and have dangerous gaps. You can see that the apartments are operated with no love and passion.

Beautiful view, janky apartment

Easy check in, nice garage space, beautiful view. Beds are pretty terrible. Zero internet connection for the whole time. Appliance plugs don’t match outlets, so there is one extension cord for them in the kitchen. Stove exhaust fan doesn’t connect to the vent. Lighting is terrible. A/c doesn’t work. Pool is dirty. The walls are dirty with what looks like smushed bugs. I’m really sorry to say it was not great, but it was the least expensive place we could fine. We were only there for two nights, so maybe things would have gotten better. Bathrooms were well equipped and the water pressure and hot water was great. Excellent washing machine.

Adrian, Germany
